Purchased a DeMarini "The Goods" bat in March of 2023 from Authorized Dealer, Better Baseball in Marietta GA. In 2nd week of January, during an indoor hitting session, the bat "Telescoped"- evidently very common problem according to representative from Better Baseball when I contacted them. I contacted DeMarini, bat was under warranty, sent it back, received confirmation that bat would be warrantied, only to be kicked down the road multiple times with excuses of why they have not either refunded us to purchase a new bat or replaced the bat... Now it is mid March of my son's senior season... still no replacement bat from DeMarini and no response in getting resolution. Will never make another purchase from this company again, and probably not from any of their parent companies either.

16 months old, $350 DeMarini - be careful when you select a new bat.

My 13 year old son loves his new CF8. We would have purchased another Easton but Jerry Garnett was correct; this bat has a ton of pop.

I really appreciated his patience as I'm still learning the ins and outs of baseball as a newer baseball mom. Thank you again! Over the weekend, our family decided to go to DSG, we ended up spending $149~, it was $100 gift cards and the rest was cash. I didn't realize my toddler slipped in some random $17 socks, so I went in the next day to return them. I was met with Oscar, he was nice. I asked if I could get a cash refund since it was a small amount, he said no, due to it's based on whatever majority payment method was used. I leave it at that, I am disappointed because I really don't need $17 gc, I would like cash back. As I am walking back I am reading the back of the receipt, where it says refund will be made on initial form of payment, not majority used like Oscar advised. I spoke with my husband who was frustrated, told him what I read and what was said. My husband thought of work around, we can buy a more expensive item, use cash first for the majority and use the gift cards for the rest. So my husband goes in to try that. Oscar explains, no we can't do that, that it's the system gravitating towards a card. My husband points out what the receipt says, Oscar says it shows on the website, but does not bring it up. My husband returns to the car frustrated, because Oscar just lied and instead of asking for helped, insisted on dying on the hill the customer isn't always right. At this point, I'm going back into the store. I see Oscar talking among his colleagues talking about what just happened with my husband. Im still nice, but I request a supervisor. Supervisor explains Oscar is wrong it's not Majority it's just how the system works. I ask him, how does he want to correct this, and he just offers to cash it. It was such a simple fix. Oscar just needed guidance on how to navigate. I felt like this issue didn't need us as many times going into the store, If Oscar just asked for guidance in the beginning. It was frustrating experience overall. I'm glad we got the result we wanted, but just having to go through hoops, and it was a waste of time. Personally for me, this location left a poor taste, just because I am in customer service. I felt like the training could have been better. I appreciate the supervisor making it right.

**Firearm Counter Review**…read more These guys are absolutely horrendous. There's two young ladies that work the counter that I never had issues picking up online firearm orders from. I had such a terrible experience with the last firearm purchase that I finally said "to hell with it just give me a refund". At this point I would rather spend the money at Cabela's/Bass Pro. The manager back there, Jeff, treats you like an absolute burden. Instead of applying customer service and working to help you, he's dismissive, arrogant and ridiculously rude. Worst customer service I have had in a VERY long time, probably ever. I bought 4 other firearms here in the last 90 days to add to my collection, and THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I DID ANY BUSINESS HERE! If you have to go here, deal with the young ladies who work the counter. Everyone else is only going to waste your time, make you take 2-3 trips to the store just to say "We can't do anything for you, sorry", blow you off and look relieved about it. ***NOT WORTH SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE - GO TO CABELAS/BASS PRO JUST DOWN THE I-5***

Albeit they provide more freshwater fishing gear versus saltwater, but I usually find exactly what i need. Plus, this type of fishing gear is expected for Oregon. Not only do they have fishing gear, but they've got an endless amount of camping equipment, outdoor shoes, firearms, archery gear, kayaks, Carhartt clothing, pellet grills, and much more. If I lived closer to Bass Pro Shop or Cabela's, I'd go there, but I feel they have the same quality type of products here at Sportsmans Warehouse. And the prices are slightly lower price in my opinion. I can go to Big5, but their big sale items usually are considered cheap (some items, not all). I don't mind the text or email ads regarding what's on sale because I'll usually find a really good deal from time to time. Depending on the season. That's just another plus in my book! The main reason for this review is actually for associate, Colby. He helped me from start to finish with a major purchase. Answered many of my questions and offered useful knowledge. I'll be making more purchases here in the future for sure. Thanks Colby!

The store is huge, has many departments - swim, camping, women's, men's and children's apparel, hiking, biking, hats and accessories, fitness items, winter coats, rain gear and more. But within some areas, there is hardly any merchandise. For example, the Swim section was minimal. There was a big sign and display, but turns out that was it. Literally just a handful of swimsuits, one or two rash guards, no goggles, fins or gear. Did I mention just a handful of swimsuits? Was highly disappointed but since I was there, decided to walk the aisles. The vast majority of the store is filled with clothing. Racks and racks of clothing. Like it's sister store and neighbor, Marshall's, they must get leftover clothing from other stores and sell at a discount. There are definitely good finds among the racks, but I wasn't shopping for clothing and didn't have the patience. Ended up buying a wide brimmed sun hat with SPF of 50 for just $16.99. There were only three customers at the checkout but it still seemed to take forever. Of course this area is filled with a plethora of spontaneous purchases - trail mix, gadgets of every kind, hiking books, flashlights, etc. For me, Sierra will never be a destination like Marshall's where I will go far out of my way to visit. But for those who want outdoorsy clothing, this could be your Marshall's.

At the end of 2017, District 11 Little League (California) presented my league, Sierra Foothills…read moreLittle League, with a new baseball uniform program designed around Nike clothing and managed by Gear Up Sports. We are a relatively small league, but we have approx. 400 kids needing jerseys & hats each season, so there are a lot of moving pieces. At first, I was hesitant as I just came off of a successful season where I was able to source all uniforms through local suppliers (I am big into supporting local folks). However, the presentation of the offer as well as the help mocking up designs was first rate & I immediately presented the offer to my board. Quite quickly, we voted to enter into a multi-year agreement with Gear Up & Nike to provide our kids with high quality, affordable, brand recognizable uniforms. Right off the bat, the team at Gear Up sent over a planning worksheet to start establishing divisions, teams, jersey style & colors, jersey printing colors & design, hat style & color, hat embroidery colors, design & thread colors...not to mention the lead times and deadlines to hit. Needless to say, lots of information is required to organize & coordinate a league full of kid's jerseys! Gathering and organizing the data above takes quite a bit of time and constant updating of information. My league has local constraints such as weather, etc. that tends to push my orders uncomfortably close to my deadlines, but Gear Up was able to maneuver and get creative with printing & shipping so as all deadlines will be achieved. Actually, as I write this, the second batch of jerseys are being shipped and are hitting my timeframe perfectly! As for the ever-important communication with Gear Up I can easily say that they are there to get the job done. Phone calls, emails, texts...whatever way you need to communicate, they make it happen. (Great job Chris & Mac!). We opted for a stock Nike Vapor Dri-FIT model that our kids, coaches & parents were very happy with from our previous Fall season. The jerseys look great as does the decoration. These Nike jerseys fit very true to size and run long as a baseball jersey should! The length requires you to tuck them in so your teams look sharp, not sloppy. The hats were high quality twill snap backs that were color coordinated to the franchise team color and when combined with the uniforms, they look great! I gave Gear Up a 4-star review because I feel that they put in a great amount of effort to make this work for me and my league this pre-season. I considered tossing out a 5 but I would like to get a full season behind me of continued success...I absolutely expect this to be the case. I will gladly promote Gear Up Sports to others who seek league sports jerseys, especially when there are large quantities of multi-color, multi-design uniforms involved. Great job Gear Up Sports!

My daughter has missed two track meets without a uniform, and they just said they will "email me with an update". It's been 7 weeks! If I ever get my order, the season will basically be over. I asked if they could rush ship a basic uniform (tank and shorts), so she at least has a matching uniform to compete in, and customer service said "once we figure out what the technical issue was with your order, we will try to get your items to you as soon as we can".
