I respect the patience of nail techs in Utah. When we first walked in there was a lady letting her 2 kids run a muck in the salon. As if the rest of the paying customers weren't there to enjoy THEIR time. The techs did their best to rally the kids and keep them contained. This was one of the worst experiences while getting my nails done. The hot towels are not clean and don't smell clean. They smell as if they're drenched in softener so they can pass as clean towels. While getting a manicure I asked for no lotion in my hands and the gentleman proceeded to grab my hand, as I pulled it away he pulled it towards him and put lotion on my hand anyway. The gentleman painted my toes so quick that the first layers did not dry, causing the polish to pretty much melt off. I left with polish on my arm and all around my toes. Sadly, this was my first time here and it wasn't a food one. I brought my daughter in for a pedicure together. The guy that did my pedicure was so preoccupied with everyone and everything going on in the salon that he barely communicated with or looked at me. He might be one of the owners? He turned on the back massager, which I didn't want on. So I turned it off, he reached up and turned it on again. I turned it off, he reached up and tried to turn it on again, I told him I didn't want it on. He did a very poor job, especially the polish, which was not applied well, there are ridges of polish at the edges of my nails. I really felt like he wasn't paying much attention to what he was doing. It was super frustrating, especially paying $40 for the service. And I should not have left a tip, but the gal who did my daughter's nails did a great job, so the tip was mostly for her, but I'm sure they split it. read more

I came the other day and was very disappointed. I asked for a gel change, a service I get done about every three weeks at different salons. Upon arriving, I told them I only had 30 minutes before a hair appointment and asked if they could fit me in. They reassured me that they could which I appreciate. We did cut 15 minutes into my hair appointment which wasn't ideal. However, even worse was the service I received. The guy sanded down my nails wayyyy too much and now the are very sensitive. Normal tasks like opening a can and cleaning the kitchen are very painful because my nails are so thin. Multiple times, he went to clip my nailed and also got my skin underneath. Three of my nails now have hang nails that catch on everything and most came out lopsided. He coated my cuticles in gel. I went here on a Wednesday noon, I got the service right away. They have a lot options of the nail colors, as well as the gel colors, which is awesome! Their massage chair is very comfortable and they also do some massage on your feet and hand, very comfortable! They also give you some skin care on your leg and arm, they will put lotion on your skin and use the hot towel to mask it Their trimming is very careful, I got my nails nice and clean. However I'm so annoyed with both my pedicure and manicure. 7 of 10 fingers have cute and scabs from the damage the manicurist did. First time ladt time. Called around to find someone that could do a hard gel repair. Made an appointment for 730pm even though they close at 730pm. Arrived asked by a man what we wanted. I explained we had an appointment. He said we did not have an appointment. He asked me what number I called. I showed him it was their number. He then proceeded to lecture me that I should have given them a name and number multiple times. I informed him he should tell his staff that not me. My friend needed one nail replaced and a fill. He did do my friends hand but then destroyed all the other hard gel she had, manipulated her fingers hurting her and ground down more than needed causing her more discomfort. Up charged her for matt. Super well priced! I don't recommend making an appointment because you'll still wait 40 minutes! I highly recommend coming in first thing as soon as they open! Overall I've gotten shellac fingers and a pedicure and both were great! Annoying. They got my sister and I in quickly for pedicures but then were super rushed. He gave us the gel color books and told us that even if we wanted normal polish we had to pick a color out of there. But THEN when we wanted normal polish he was pissed. I decided to do gel and my sister wanted regular polish and he wouldn't stop talking about it the whole time and was so annoyed that she wouldn't do gel ($15 extra). Her girl ended up just picking some random pink color that kind of matched what she had chosen but the book indeed was just for gel colors. He was also relentless about me using the massage chair. If I could give zero stars, that's where my rating would be. Worst salon I've ever been in. I was in there for about 2 hours, for a simple dip. Lack of professionalism to say the least. My nail tech bounced between me and another client, leaving me hanging for 10 minutes at a time. Then I was sent to another tech mid session. Several potential customers left the place because if the lack of professionalism (some with their nails unfinished). After two hours and halfway done, I left. They are often very busy but I've found the best way to get in is to go during your lunch break and just work while getting a pedicure. They do a great job. Steer clear!!! I stopped in to have a shellac/no chip manicure removed and I got it removed and a whole lot more. My nails are now super thin and hurt to the touch. I would have been better off peeling them off myself. They used some sort of power tool to grind it off instead of just letting the acetone soak on them for a few minutes.
