Great breads & pastries but $$$. I would stop in more often if they weren't so expensive.

Ok friends. This is my shortest review in history. What I'm about to say tells it all…read more THE TABLE I hope you understand. No pictures.

Well, I didn't have a great experience here yesterday, sadly, I had to drive over an hour for a DMV…read moreappointment, so I looked online and this place was highly rated. I had already chosen my "carved turkey Reuben sandwich", yum, when I first went at around 12:30-the line was out the door, so went to my appointment, hoping I could get back by the 230 close time. Returned at about 215 yay, and happily walked right up to the counter to order my lunch, when I was told they were out of carved turkey (the way the server explained it sounded like an ingredient in the Reuben was out, not the actual turkey. I asked if the "simple turkey sandwich" had carved turkey, and I was told no, it was deli meat-deli meat is so processed and unhealthy. I was super disappointed. So I opted for a Smashburger after asking how they liked it and she said it was "delicious". Well, it's not a Smashburger. It's a double burger on a nothing special bun. I was going to take the bun off and eat it with a knife and fork, and I was looking for those yummy crispy edges on a authentic Smashburger. They didn't exist. This was a double cheeseburger with very thick patties. I think they were grass fed so kudos to them for that,, but it was incredibly dry sadly, and when I saw that the bun had been toasted with butter, I put it back on and had a couple more bites, but was super disappointed-and trust me nobody loves a great cheeseburger more than I but now I love smash burgers as well!. I also ordered the Orzo cucumber and feta salad (as well as the french fries) on the side and while it was OK, it was nothing special. French fries were just meh. After all the stellar reviews I had I was very surprised that they would make a double cheeseburger and call it a Smash-burger-I wish these restaurants would stop doing that, it's misleading, other restaurants do this too. And for the money I spent, I should've just gone to Shake shack! I DO think it's worth a second chance, and I will say everybody there was very kind on the Service level and it's an adorable, really beautiful spot and vibe ! I strolled around and looked at the merchandise afterwards. So hopefully I'll be back but just super disappointed I didn't have a nice meal and left hungry.

I moved to NC in October. I forgot to order a birthday cake…read morethis week. Well Pheonix Bakery definitely came through! It is such a yummy Coconut Cake! I'm definitely hooked. Thank you! Thank you!

So I called and made a last minute order for youth. I clearly asked is this possible. The answer…read morewas yes! I requested 6 dozen donuts. Along arrival I asked for my order. Given no customer service, one young woman saw me coming and hastily went away. So I was assisted by a young girl who was friendly. Once o got to my car I counted the donuts. There were only 60. I returned in and asked for the remaining donuts. I was told you only ordered 60. Hummm nope so I had to pay 28 dollars for an additional dozen. So let me say if these were amazing world known or better than a Krispy Kreme I would not have had a concern. But I received a variety of thrown together products that literally were fried Dogg with granulated sugar and cinnamon. Latterly tast like fried biscuits from an Asian buffet. Because I was in a rural area and needed something for the local high school I took it. But I wan you, it's horrible taste, bad service, extremely over priced. And i as a black male did not feel welcomed. Hey i should have driven to a better location being that a confederate flag was the greeting on the main street. 8 am a small business owner aswell but this entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth.. as well as the horrible donuts!
