With winter soon approaching, I had to get "Black Nell" prepped for it. I stopped by Webster Delta Sonic and had the Wash and Wax, plus the interior cleaned. A young man by the name of Jake Sossong did the job for me. I was really impressed with him. He knows the detail business and did an excellent job. They state they do inspections on Sunday but they don't tell you they take a 2 hour lunch. I got there at 11. They didn't do the inspection until 1:30. Go some place else. They don't value your time. read more

This is the second time I have had a car detailed in the last month. Both times, the detailing was unsatisfactory. Spots left on dash and windows not cleaned. Will never go back to this Delta Sonic for detailing. read more

Got my car washed, and as I was coming out of the tunnel, the car in front of me decided at the last minute they wanted their car wiped. So I went left to leave, looking at the attendant for guidance since I couldn't see the right side of my vehicle at their wiping station. i hit the wiping station, damaging my passenger window, dented both front & back doors, and have a long scratch from the front end of my car to the back. Filled a claim, but the letter states that since the car was under my control, they will not be fixing anything. I deactivated my membership, and will not be returning. read more

A-OK is right on the money for me! It should be noted that I do have car wash anxiety, so each trip I take to ANY car wash is fraught with danger at every turn. Will I put my car in neutral at the right time? What if I can't drive straight onto the magical car propeller and cause a traffic jam? I CAN'T SEE SHOULD I USE MY WIPERS? Pull forward...so put in drive? Yes? No? I don't have any cash to tip the dryers so I'll skip that part? It's just a lot for me. There's a lot to contend with. Yes, you may judge me freely. I am a grown adult whose been through many a car wash. I should BE BETTER. I digress...this Delta Sonic location brought on special sauce levels of anxiety. My partner got me three washes for Christmas, and since my car was looking like a salted pretzel, it was time. I pull in to a loop swoopy maze! There's three lines and it seemed like even the people with their fancy car stickers did not know that they could speed past the peasants in the "I wash my car three times a year and have car wash anxiety" line. This was a LONG line. About a ten minute wait in what I would call an "off-peak" time. THEN a non-sticker car from the back of the line tried to pull into the sticker line in a huff, realized it was the sticker only line, then tried to cut back into the line with a blinker and aggressive closeness to my vehicle. I would do just about anything to avoid confrontation, but I won't do that (that = let her back in line...I was feeling PETTY). I looked directly in her eyes and stayed 1cm close to the car in front of me. Not today, fellow non-sticker. Is this Delta Sonic's fault? The long line, yes, but this situation...maybe not. They seem to do a HUGE amount of business at this location and the staff I encountered was super kind and all COVID precautions are being followed across the board. It is great how full service the location is and that they provide so much in addition to just your standard car wash. I think prices for car washes are WILD, though I don't think I would pay for the monthly washes, given that this location seems a bit chaotic and is closest to my house. I left and my car was clean, so mission accomplished there, but will try and be back as infrequently as possible. read more

I'm a fan of Delta Sonic. Been using their car wash for many many years! I have their unlimited car wash. I can get my car done daily if I want! I also like the fact I can save on their gas using their card. The young people I've dealt with there are hardworking and very polite. I used their detail shop a few months ago. It wasn't cheap but the inside of my car looked and smelled like a new car and the outside was washed and dried off. read more

Like I said, I'd update this when I tried to cancel. They are not very upfront with you when you buy it, which irritates me. You really cannot cancel until you've completed two full billing cycles. So, assuming you join in the middle of the month, you pay a partial month, two full months, and then you can cancel. And I tried daily to cancel. On August 5th, I finally could cancel, but the website says there are no partial refunds or credits, so regardless of when I cancelled in August, I had to pay for all of August. $14 (with tax) for unlimited car washes for a month is still a relatively good deal, but I wish they were more upfront about it. And it would be a lot better if I had time to go more often, or one was closer to my house. With the Bay Bridge being closed, it has been hard to get to this location lately. I've tried to go every week, so it's like $4 a wash. **In response to the comment below, I think my review above is pretty clear, but it would not let me cancel until 2 full months were charged to my card. It says to cancel before the 25th, so I tried everyday from about July 15th up thru August until it let me cancel. By that point, it says there are no partial refunds, so that's two FULL months. And if that's not right, you need to fix your website, and refund me $14** read more

But I had some scuffs on my vehicle and some laundry detergent that spilled in the back passenger's seat, guess what they got that stuff out. I purchased 4 tires a year ago and had a blow out the other day. Come to find out the line of tire has been discontinued and the employees that installed them are no longer working at delta sonic. Mind you, for the past year every couple weeks i have had to put air in the tires, but because i did this on my own and didn't take them to delta sonic to see if there was an issue with the install, i have no way to "prove" that the tires were defective. So, according to their customer service rep, im "throwing shade on the company" and there is no way to make me happy. all i was hoping for was the blown tire be replaced... now i have to replace a tire pressure sensor and another tire, with mismatching tires on an awd vehicle, cause they don't make the ones i purchased. i feel cheeted. read more

It's hit or miss here. I've come at the right hour when the wait time for the wash was short, the sprayers get all the bugs and bird crap off, I get a pleasant wiff of cotton candy bubbles during the wash, and the dryers dry AND check your car to make sure your car is clean. Then there were times where the "fast lane" was the slow lane, the sprayers were conserving what my bf thinks is reused Delta water, the signs that usually light up at each stage of the wash are inconsistent (maybe they don't use the rust inhibitor in the summer, but wait, it lit up last week...?), and the dryers half ass dry. It's pretty obvious when one dryer is using the air compressor to blow the water out of my right side mirror and the second dryer on my left doesn't and is already half way done. Another trip, I got home right after a wash to see a big white shiet stain still on my back side window that the dryer didn't bother to get rid of for me. I come here because the $20/mth unlimited wash is a no brainer because you get your money back after 2 washes and it's in my neighborhood. read more

Attention all Delta Sonic patrons!!!!! Stop spending your money at a place that does not have any concern for you, your vehicle, or your safety! I have been mulling over how to move forward with the negligent acts on behalf of Delta Sonic in Webster on Empire Boulevard. Most people that know me, know that I am a straight shooter and am easy to work with when an issue arises. With that said, I paid for Delta Sonic to rotate my tires the Friday of our vacation to Maine. I specifically asked for certain parts to be checked in order to ensure a safe trip there and back. Upon receiving paperwork and my receipt of the "work" completed, it stated that lug nuts were cross threaded and difficult to remove. Did I read that? No. They told me I was "all set to go" and the technician escorted me to my Jeep. The night the tire fell off: Kody and I were returning from Bar harbor on Highway 1A. Highway 1A is one of the most dangerous roads in Maine (quite similar to 104). I was on the phone with my mom when Kody, driving, said to me "do you feel that vibrate?" I said no, it's a Jeep, it's never a smooth ride. Not even thirty seconds later, the back end of my Jeep dropped. A few seconds later, we watched the back drivers side tire roll across to the other side of the highway. I told my mom we had lost a tire and she thought we were joking. Immediately, I hung up and called AAA. Kody called 911. By the grace of god and the protection of my dad above, we were unharmed. The Jeep was towed to a local body shop. The next day: I called that next morning to report to Delta Sonic what had happened. There was no empathy, no apology, just a man who wanted to call me a liar and deny my claim and told me when I got home, I would be able to watch video footage of the service done. The man named Shaun (insurance guy) stated because I had failed to return to the shop for a retorque, I was the person responsible. Keep in mind, they admitted to improper reattachment of lugs that were cross threaded. Upon picking up my Jeep, the mechanic who worked on my vehicle not only told me how lucky we were to be alive, but how negligent the previous servicer had been. Monday, August 19th: Me, infuriated, demanded more. Upon my return home to NY, I drove to Delta Sonic and wanted to speak to a manager. I explained to a technician why I needed to speak to someone and I said "I got my tires rotated here last week and a wheel fell off." The technicians response "you mean the wrangler?" I responded yes. Clearly this was an indication that the staff had been prepped and informed of their wrong doing. Eventually, the manager came to speak to me. He, nervous in nature, stated I would not be able to watch such a video without an appointment. So of course I said "when are you next available?" I arranged for a meeting at 4 pm Thursday (the 23rd). Thursday, August 23rd: Kody and I returned to Delta Sonic to speak to the manager and watch the service video. We walked to the computer to watch said video. He attempted to only allow for us to watch the the act of putting the left rear tire back onto the studs and torque them. We interjected asking to see the video in its entirety. He skipped around and eventually allowed us to watch the beginning. The technician had to utilize three different types of guns to remove the lug nuts from the front left tire. He was profusely sweating and for a lack of better word: struggling. We asked if we would be able to obtain this video or record it, and he said no. The manager (Nick) stopped the video and proceeded to inquire on our intentions of showing up the Delta. I stated boldly, I'm not out to get anyone, I just want this rectified. He asked to see the repair receipts and the tire that had been damaged. It was evident, he genuinely felt like I had been wronged. Kody also asked if there were cross threading, would technicians be able to obtain new lugs in order to thread them on and he responded with "yes we have a very good relationship with Napa and if we don't have any in stock, we call over and have them drop off what we need." He said he unfortunately does not have much of say, but ultimately would support my requests. He presented the information to Shaun (the insurance guy) and he denied it yet again. Let me remind you, I was not asking for an astronomical amount of money, just for the cost of repairs and a new rim. I spend $300 alone on car washes at Delta Sonic within a year, not including gift cards or gas at their establishments... this will be no more. I CANNOT stand behind a multi million dollar company that does not want to do the right thing. It makes me sick knowing that negligent acts occurred and I am the one to suffer. Our drive home was less than enjoyable. Companies like Delta Sonic do not deserve anyone's business. I am sure I am not the only one that has been wronged. read more

I was really happy with my $35 dollar interior cleaning and it's well worth the upgrade from their basic package. They use the super thin vacuum head that gets in every crevice ( the side of your seats especially ) which is the biggest difference with the upgrade. This winter was especially harsh on my mats with all the salt and I was a bit lazy not getting winter mats. For $10 extra dollars they de-salted them and they looked brand new. I also recommend getting the vanilla scented vent clips - they aren't overwhelming but are really fresh and I get compliments whenever someone gets in my car. read more

I was clueless about where to go to pay for the detailing and where to drive my car and the person I asked inside was so considerate. She showed me where to drive my car and rang me up herself. I got an oil change and tire rotation and it took them an hour to do it. Once they were done their was oil on the outside and inside door handles and the floor running boards. I pointed it out to the manager and he was nice about getting the interior cleaned for free. Might need to work on training employees. Without fail, when I tell them areas that may need "special attention" THEY DONT DO IT! Why bother asking!? Then I have to ask again for them to do it when they have me check the car over. read more

I've had my car washed here and several 10-15 minute interiors done here. But my last 10 minute interior wasn't to my satisfaction. Only the tires on the driver side were cleaned, I could see the streaks in the windshield where they missed wiping, but this was the first time this has happened. I live 2 mins from this location, so I'm there quite a bit, sometimes even daily. I have the unlimited monthly wash plan too which is mainly what my review is about. Well, sort of. I have a new car, so I tinted my windows. I know, say what you want... I've heard it. I love the way it looks and I'm happy I did it. Only, ONLY downside is this- because of the tint, the reader in the super lane wasn't able to read my barcode sticker and I was forced to use the lane for the peasants. Kidding! Really though, I had to use the other lanes and just roll my window down to get the go ahead. Yes, it's not the end of the world but still, a pain in the bum. I felt like there had to be another option and fortunately for me there was. I went inside to ask for the car wash manager and a man came out, spoke to me and listened to my problem. He then went to grab the assistant manager. He was the one who went completely out of his way to try and help me. He ended up having the first man I talked to meet me back at the wash to try putting the sticker on my sunroof, and it actually worked!! My point to all of this is, he didn't have to be as nice and helpful as he was. Really, it's not their problem if a customer got their windows tinted and now has to use the regular lanes. They worked with me and the outcome was what I wanted. So, 5 stars because great customer service isn't always a thing. read more

I went to this location after work at 5:00pm on a Thursday. So I thought it was going to be busy for an oil change but it wasn't. I thought they were going to upsell me on different things too because that's how they are some times but all I said was a basic oil change and no questions asked, 15-20 mins and it was done. I had a 6 dollar coupon off their website and they also gave me a free super kiss car wash. I was surprised that they gave me that and didn't push anything else on me. This young manager showed such such professionalism and sincere concern. The whole team at this location works like a well oiled machine ( fitting) All seemed, caring and respectful. It is a very young team amazingly, hard working and pleasant. It did feel good to know if there was an issue they would resolve it. Every worker I encountered was great. Not only that but incidentally, my car drove a flat as I left the shop and I came back asking for assistance to put on my spare tire. I do not like to complain or leave bad reviews on Yelp but I have had enough of Delta Sonic in Webster. I have spoken to the manager and the service techs at this place several times without any success. This place leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to their so called specialty services. I have three vehicles that need to be gassed up and serviced. It is convenient for me to go here because I live right around the corner. I use the $30.00 a month plan for car washes and they change my oil for $19.99 as part of the program. My last three oil changes have been unacceptable. They put a oil filter in one of my vehicles in February that had been signed and dated by someone in 2016 for some reason. The oil itself was marginally clean at the best. This time they used what looked to be a recycled oil filter and they never tighten the screw which led to me having oil all over my garage floor and having to call someone else to investigate as to what Delta Sonic had done this time. This so called deal of charging $30.00 a month to have your vehicle cleaned as many times as you want is a rip off. They will only clean certain things in the vehicle and they almost never get it right at this location. They are forever using dirty towels to clean the glass in my cars. Taking that fact and having your choice to either pay $17.00 for a single interior car cleaning or pay $30.00 a month for unlimited cleaning makes Delta Sonic a bad deal. They have other issues here as well that include a Super lane for monthly car wash members that constantly has mechanical issues. Gas pumps that don't issue receipts,and a car wash that very rarely ever cleans my mini van properly without having to go through the wash a second time. This has been going on here for the last four years and it is unacceptable. In defense of Delta Sonic, I will say that I rarely experience these type of issues at any of the other Delta Sonic locations. I really enjoy hitting the one on West Ridge Road or out on West Henrietta road because they offer self service vacuums and they get the car exteriors cleaned properly the first time. The gas is also as much as 25 cents a gallon cheaper at either one of these locations. I give Delta Sonic of Webster one really lousy Yelp star and I encourage you to take your vehicle some place else or better yet, clean it yourself. read more

Wash broke down tonight and I spent 25 mins trapped in an inescapable line. Management and staff failed to notify customers of the problems or estimated time of resolution. Staff demonstrated worst decision making ever by stopping the line once it restarted to allow a car to cut the line to have her car re-washed because "she had a problem with the wash". News flash, 50 other people had a problem with their washes, too. Delta Sonic wasted our time!!! Don't go here if you have any time constraints. Car wash is mediocre and to really get all the road salt off you need to run through twice ... but I guess that repeat trip through you get to cut the line. read more
