My wife went to get two windows tinted on her car. Had an appointment for 11:30. 1:30 comes around…read moreand she asks how much longer and they tell her 1.5 hours. So she left. A tint job is an hour.

ROUGH. this whole experience. Scheduled over $2000 worth of…read moreservices. Best Remote start, rhino lining, full undercoating and tint. Gave me a quote and when we finally agreed on a price, he ran through what was included, and there was an additional item that I had decided to not do.... And instead of the bill being lower after that, he told me that he had actually just thrown that in for free and the bill wouldn't be any cheaper.... Needless to say, I told him that he could still keep that service on there then if removing it wasn't lowering my final price. a wash and wax was also thrown in for "free". When dropping off my truck, I included on the key drop envelope, the wash and wax just as a reminder since I didn't see it on the final printout. Had to reach out the following afternoon to see where my truck stood as far as being completed since I live over an hour away and needed to know in advance before pick up. He then states that he was just about to call me that his tech called in sick and he wasn't able to perform half of the services. We went back-and-forth with how to accommodate this since I live far enough away and it's hard for me to leave my vehicle and someone to drop me off or pick me up. Definitely frustrating that he waited so long to let me know this information. I decided I was able to leave my truck an extra night but was asking if it could be done by a certain time the next afternoon so I could accommodate Work, child pick up and getting a ride. He told me he would text me in the morning. By 922a I sent a message and never heard a reply. Finally by 1230p I called and he stated the truck was done. This would have been nice to know so I could have been on my way. When I arrived they had forgotten my brow tint and did not wash and wax. They did end up refunding the tint price. Also come to find out that the upgraded remote start requires a paid app to actually use the benefits of starting it from your phone. This is something that was never mentioned in the details of this sale. Not to mention they advise you not to use the unlock and lock Part of the remote start fob because if used incorrectly, it can put your vehicle in valet mode which only they can unlock. Insane. Due to the late notice of pick up and issues I first saw, I was in a rush to get my child from school, and didn't have tome to look everything else over unfortunately ... The bed liner will not last long. There are bubbles everywhere and its clearly a thin coat as you can see my white truck paint through it in some areas. Not to mention the overspray on the truck is everywhere. What an experience to say the least... such an expensive day for me with minimal satisfaction is disheartening. Now I have to go back yearly for my undercoat and honestly I do not want to nor do I trust them. I definitely understand things happen and understaffing is a real thing everywhere... however how things were handled definitely have opportunities. These services should've been flawless with all the hurdles we encountered just to get them done. I highly recommend vetting out other places.

A friend of ours had recommended Gerber, so we decided to give the place a try. At first glance they seemed friendly and efficient. We had an appointment, so even though they seemed busy, we didn't have to wait long to talk to someone. The gentleman who inspected our car was very thorough. Fortunately it was 100% covered by insurance, so we did not have to deal with the bill. We had to wait about 2 months to get it fixed because they were booked up, but it sounded like that was the norm everywhere. Fast forward 2 months - we dropped it off on Tuesday, and it was done by the end of the 3 day period they had originally figured it would take. Everything looked great, and they had even detailed the inside of the car, too! They kept us informed the whole time via email and phone so we knew that things were running on time. Pick up was quick and easy. I will upload photos so you can see the work that was done. We are definitely pleased with the service, and I would 100% recommend!

To update my review. After my daughter put out her review here, they contacted her stating they…read morewould like to fix this issue. So, where were they when we went in?! WITH not just us, but also family members AS WITNESSES to being kicked out politely, ignored & sent away with the engine problem that still has not been fixed by them or acknowledged regarding warranty etc. Her warranty was canceled without her notice even the loan company is questioning why we have had to go through all this with them! Therefore, they are suddenly acting like they care....shameful! When I say, we will sue for mental anguish, loss of work, danger to my grandchildren & my daughter!!!! What will they do next?! We expect this fixed or we will go as high as we can to make sure no one else goes through anything like this. I have lost a LOT of money due to this & so has my daughter...will they pay her for her loss of work?! For the mental damages?! For the fear it caused our family when the tire rod disconnected with my grandsons in the back seat?! They passed inspection while it should NEVER have passed. This is dirty! And NOW they respond?! We purchased this vehicle in 2023, it is now 2025 & they have done absolutely nothing but cause us anguish & anger for stealing our money from us. And hurting my daughter's career as, like anyone else, she needs a reliable vehicle to get to & from work!!! Will they actually FIX or REPLACE with a BETTER OPTION due to ALL our losses from a dirty auto dealership!!!! We will spread this everywhere until this issue is fixed!

I did not have a good experience. And, If I was Jewish, it would have been a lot worse, after the…read moremanager complained that I "Jewed" him down on the price for tires. More on that later.... I took the car in for replacement of four tires. Their price was about $60 more than Mavis so I canceled the Mavis appointment b/c I would rather have the dealer put new tires on. My wife drove her vehicle to the dealer. While the tires were off, the service department took a video of the brakes -- a really cool service - and texted the video to my wife, who forwarded the video to me. The video, and mechanic's voiceover, showed an immediate need for front replacement of pads and rotors and 30% pad wear remaining on the rear. I called my normal mechanic for a price and then I called Ontario Mazda. I told them I could get pads/rotors for four wheels and put them on myself for about $175 or my mechanic could do it $300+, but in keeping with the same philosophy as with the tires, I asked Ontario Mazda for a competitive bid to leave it with them. The Service Manager countered that they were installing OEM parts and there was no way my mechanic could put OEM pads/rotors on four wheels for $300. I agreed that the parts were likely coming from AutoZone. The Service manager said he could put the pads and rotors for $398.00. I responded that $398 for front and back OEM pads and rotors was a good price and I asked if he could get all four done by noon because my wife had a an appointment at 1:00, they said yes. So I approved the work. At 11:00, my wife texted me that the dealer charged her $398 for the front pads and rotors only. The Service manager denied that we ever talked about all four wheels, even though I mentioned "front and back" or "four wheels" several times. The service manager claimed my wife approved the estimate - not true...she was never presented an estimate. They looked up the estimate which was apparently sent with the video, and confirmed that their data showed the video was "viewed" but the work was not "approved". I reminded them that I approved the $398 for front and back pads and rotors. The service manager, who said NOTHING when I asked if he could get all four wheels done before noon, claimed I never said "front and back" or "four wheels". I advised (cursed) that what they were doing was crooked and I wanted to speak to the manager (I know... Karen, right?) After going through the same argument with the manager of Ontario Mazda, he finally let on what was bothering him. Out of nowhere, he claimed I "Jewed" him out of $75 on the tire replacement. Not believing what I just heard, I asked him to repeat what he just said and he DID. Said I "Jewed" him out of money on the tire replacement. I warned him that he had no idea whether anyone on the other line was Jewish but that the remark was extremely offensive and anti-semitic. While I am not Jewish I still found it incredible that the manager of a large dealership in Canandaigua NY would use that type of discriminatory language in support of their practices. The obvious stereotype plays upon the presumption that "Jews are cheap" and I must be Jewish if I expected them to stick to the deal we agreed upon. Then, the Manager "offered" to remove the new pads and rotors on the front and replace them with the old pads and rotors, which they just claimed, and I agreed, were dangerous, and that I could get them done elsewhere. So, the dealer essentially calls a customer, who bought the vehicle at their dealership, a "cheap Jew" and then recommended that they make my wife's vehicle more dangerous after making it safer. I don't know whether it's CoVid or something else, but I am amazed that this is what passes for customer service these days. I will get the back brakes done and take available legal remedies in small claims court, which means they will have to spend $2000 or more on a lawyer to defend -- Dumb. Get your work done elsewhere.
