We just leased a new car, and really want to keep up on the maintenance - around here that means making sure to wash off the salt, snow, and road grime on a regular basis. There are so many car washes in the area that we didn't know which to try first. After scoping out reviews we figured this would be a good place to start! We pulled around back to get into the auto wash (because who doesn't want to throw their vehicle into neutral and coast through a giant automatic car wash), and we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman asking if we had ever been to Auto Wash before. We said no, and he explained all of the options. They've even got a multiple monthly unlimited plans if you are in the market for that! But today we were just stopping in to try it out, so he handed us an info pamphlet and offered to give us a free trial wash. Awesome! Who says no to that?! We pulled forward and kicked back while giant hoses, sponges, and driers did their thing. It never really gets old going through these, especially if you have kids. We were a tiny bit disappointed that they did not hand dry at the end, but it was a great wash experience anyway. It cleaned ALMOST everything off except for a little bit of stubborn bird poop. Even though I would say the wash itself was not quite as thorough as we were hoping, customer service was absolutely stellar. They also have a self wash option, and a place to vacuum out the car. Definitely recommend based on this experience, and I am sure we will be back to try out their other services in the future! read more

I went into the car wash behind a truck and ended up with a grease all over my car (which the employees think came from the truck bed). I back through and nothing came off. So I went inside and had one of the employees look at it. He had me go back in again and they spent at least 5 minutes scrubbing everything off. One of the employees even walked through with my car to make sure it was all rinsed off. When I got out of the car wash he looked it all over to make sure they got everything. I had an issue with one of the automatic washes and being that I go here often, I wanted to let somebody know about it. I filled out a contact form online and I'm pleased to say that the manager contacted me less than 24 hours later and is refunding my money. They hire the cutest guys to wipe down your car. Need I say more?

A regular customer. On two occasions damage to vehicle. Scrubbers and high pressure knocked off insignia brand of vehicle...... Would not let an MB go through that. Cost a hundred something to fix that. Suspicions that one of their juvenile delinquent gone full time car wash professional was focusing high pressure hose and causing damage to clearcoat denied by management. Cost a few hundred to fix that. Manager denied both incidents and finally the rear spoiler was upended. Again...local manager denied responsibility. Oddly...the delinquent was sitting in manager's office as I went in to ask why they had not called on Monday or Tuesday to get information. I waited until that Friday. Will cost about 600 dollars to fix that. We will see who pays for that this time. When the damage was done....none of the drying wiper guys told me of the damage. I found out on car wash property and saw my vehicle all crunched up.....moreover, I always tipped the crew going through the carwash.....and especially on very cold days. I don't appreciate their actions and saw little in the way of accountability or responsibility by way of the manager's response in each instance....actually trying to hype a spin and saying that it's my fault. If you worked hard to put yourself in your vehicle.... value your time and money...don't bother with them.....they don't care about your vehicle any more than you see those meat packers abusing animals in high speed slaughter factories....you know, kicking pigs in their last minutes of life....stomping on chickens. That is what your car is on their assembly line. You need to trust people with high pressure hoses aimed at your car or truck. You think those pig kickers and chicken stompers are going to own up to what they do? No....they don't. read more

I stopped to wash my car before going to see about trading it in, but unfortunately the back of my side mirror was damaged. I was told by the dealer they would have to take off $300 from my trade. I stopped back at Auto Wash to see if the part was found, but it was not replaceable. Greg at Auto Wash went to bat for me, and the management is giving me $300 of free car washes. I was very surprised and pleased at how they handled this. I didn't expect this. Can't say enough about Canandaigua's Auto Wash. read more
