In theory, this place sounds great. They've got a stellar city skyline view, good drinks, and an…read moreawesome DJ. However, my friends and I received terrible service. We were sat promptly for our 7:00 reservation, and first saw our server about 20 minutes after we sat down. We ordered a round of 4 drinks, where we waited another 20 minutes for them to arrive. My glass sat empty for quite sometime before our server came back over. Around 8:30 we ordered a second round of drinks, and at 9:00, they arrived. I immediately asked for the tab because I didn't think I'd see our server again, and she brought it over right away. Don't come here if you're in a rush!

We then waited another 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order. The male server with blonde curly hair clearly seemed more interested in chatting with certain customers than serving others. After waiting so long, we ended up going inside to place our order ourselves. When the server finally approached and asked if we wanted anything, I told him my sister was already ordering inside. He simply said "okay" and walked away without any apology for the delay. The view is beautiful, but it's not worth being treated this way. Save your money and go somewhere that values its customers.

Final stop on last night's GNO and arguably one of the best places in Seattle to end a night…read more The Nest is sexy. There's really no other way I want to describe it. The rooftop views are some of the best in the city, especially once Seattle starts lighting up, and the atmosphere is ultimately what you show up and stay for. Drinks are definitely pricey at $20+, but I appreciate that the snacks remain closer to happy hour pricing. We ordered the shishito peppers and hummus plate for around $11-$12 each, which felt surprisingly reasonable considering the setting. Staff was suuuuper nice! And after striking out on espresso martinis at our previous stop, we finally got our redemption here. The Nest's espresso martini ranks somewhere mid-tier for me compared to others around the city, but at that point we were just happy to have one in hand. You're definitely paying a premium for cocktails, but the food pricing helps balance things out and that view makes a pretty convincing argument for staying for another round. Come for a drink. Stay because Seattle looks really good from up here.

We also ordered a cocktail and some bites which were unimpressive. 2/4 Korean bulgogi 2/4 Hummus 2/4 Lobster roll 2/4 Shishito peppers The food just wasn't good a very sadly presented. Our paid drink also took ages to come out. The views are great but save your stomach for some better tasting food.

Service was great as I was quickly led to the bar as soon as I walked in and was quickly greeted by the bartenders. The place has a very fun vibe to it and it was a sight to see all of the bottles and almost elixirs of liquids lining the bar itself. I was recommended two drinks out of the options I had given my bartender. The first was Santiago and saints. It was highly recommended and for good reason. It hit the spot after a humid day and was a refreshing start to my evening. Well balanced, bright, and cucumbery! The second drink I had was the espresso martini and this one was perfectly balanced and creamy! Would definitely come back. The only downside to the place is the price of cocktails. Also insider information I got from locals was to park at the Amazon garage at certain hours which I did for this because it's free during certain hours of the weekdays and weekends.

The bartender next to us was incredibly friendly and offered excellent drink recommendations. The drinks are on the pricier side, but the quality, presentation, and overall atmosphere make it worth a visit if you're in the area. The bar staff were kind, attentive, and helped make for a great experience.

But we would have liked another couple to have been able to join us. Two tops get the window, and the four tops are across the "walkway". Still an excellent view, but I did have to ride going forward! LOL! Excellent service from Nicole. Very good bloody Marys as was the Botanical Full Moon. Crab leg salads had a lot of crab, but not enough dressing. Our server brought more and they ended up being pretty good. We all had the Loco Moco. Tender beef, hash browns, and a mushroom gravy topped with a "poached" egg. They were fried and over easy. A little under done for what we like but not a huge deal. The desserts were really good and fun with the dry ice. Of course the view was spectacular and overall a really good experience. It was worth the splurge and the memories! Would recommend for a special occasion/splurge. Suggestion to management: Please ask the staff not to mop the glass floor next to the tables with guests that are still seated. We understand the needs to be cleaned (really cool btw!) but wait until your guests have left the table.

You enter through a vault door in the back of Tavern Law by picking up an antique telephone. Cool right?! Yep. Once they let you in, off you go up the stairs. We were greeted and directed to our table. Because they don't have menus, your bartender will get to know you a bit. Think moods, taste buds, flavors you love - any insights you can offer will benefit you and your beverage. It's quite engaging and interactive. They jot down your order on a coaster which then becomes a keepsake that you can take with you. I thought it was a really nice touch. Very ideal for a scrapbook/journaling person (read: me). I went with my usual everyday state of being - READING! Make me a drink with dark academia, literature, the library, bookstores, coffee, cafes, etc etc. in mind. My drinks were very me! Both beverages were refreshing, tasty, and coffee-forward. The service was phenomenal and attentive. The energy of Needle and Thread is quirky with a variety of seating arrangements, antique furniture, and warmth. Vibey, if you will. They serve food as well, but we didn't eat. Make a reservation and indulge in this experience! Enjoy your bespoke cocktail! Also, highly recommend checking out their website to learn more about the speakeasy and FAQ's. Oh! They also check in to see if you have any allergies. 10/10!

My recent visit end of August 2026 still maintains that this bespoke cocktail bar has amazing…read moredrinks. However I unfortunately need to voice some concerns about the new ownership. Past visit 2+ years ago the reservation is through Tock. Recently the reservation is through OpenTable so I thought the points credits will be honored here as they are in the OpenTable network, so I redeemed points to discount $8, only to not be applied to the bill since the reservation $15 per person is a deposit and refunded on seating, instead of most places where the deposit deducts the cost of the final bill. None of the bartenders could do anything, and didn't bother raising this to management (probably downstairs at Tavern Law could've remedied the situation but the short turnaround time implied they didn't try). Additionally, when I got my drink, the bartender did not bother taking a second look to see there's a bug. It was deep inside the drink, not at the top, so the bug did not just fly and land on the drink after being served. So it was a bit negligent, especially given they jacked up the price from $21 to $25 in just 2 years. The price increase did not justify the quality, if anything, price went up significantly and quality dropped... The bartender addressed the issue by remaking the drink but the drink was noticeably smaller than the original one. It would only have made sense if I drank a lot of it, but I only had small sip stopped when I saw the bug. The experience was very frustrating overall that I didn't wish to tip, only to find out they added a 20%+ service charge without my consent when I looked at the credit card statement. That is fraud. Fraudulently adding a tip to yourself earned you a 1 star. Otherwise this would've been more a 3 star experience due to the miss from the bug, and the OpenTable issue.
