Prices on food were an outrage but the vibe was good. Saw the Krakens! Lines weren't too long.

Climate Pledge is one of my favorite venues for concerts in the Seattle area. Great seats, great lights, great sound, great food, great staff, and environmentally friendly on top of it all. There are so many entrances so security is very quick. Your ticket generally tells you which entrance to use too for peak efficiency. All the staff are super helpful with finding seats, accessibility needs, and free earplugs if you forgot yours. They have all sorts of delicious food; my favorite are the nachos but other strong contenders are the soft serve ice cream from mister softee and the shaq chicken sandwiches. They are somewhat pricy, but you can get 10% off with your Amex card. The best part is your ticket comes with a free monorail ticket, which is the best Public transportation option to get to the Seattle center. It shows they actually care to do something about the environmental message they send and it's not just for looks. read more

Parking was across the street! $60 and Walking distance so that was great because We were all in cowboy boots! The food is pricey but all venues hike up food prices. I accept that. What a cool experience checking out the climate pledge arena in seattle. We stopped by for a Seattle Storm (WNBA) game and it didn't disappoint. When you arrive parking is difficult around the arena. We ended up parking about 10 blocks away and walking up to the stadium. When you arrive you'll want to get in line to get through security and have your ticket scanned. Once we moved through security, you'll walk in a tech forward, modern, and Pacific Northwest themed arena. To find our seats we ended up walking by different species of plants and other cool features in climate pledge arena. We then sat down and watched the game. The seats were very comfortable and there are two screens over each hoop essentially which really helps your view from all seats in the arena. The game was a blast and definitely recommend stopping by the arena for a storm or kraken game. read more

The bag check line needs more than one scanner at the entry point. Idk if there was more bag check entry points on the other side, but we stood in line for about 40 minutes. We missed the beginning of the concert. read more

We visited Climate Pledge Arena for a Kraken hockey game and had an epic time! Not only is this place wildly cool, but it's also one of the most eco-friendly event arenas ever. We enjoyed walking the entire property before the game. There is a huge Kraken merch store, tons of food options, several VIP lounges, and even during a packed hockey game, there was space in the arena where it didn't feel like sardines packed in. The Pepsi Breakaway deal is the way to go if you see an event where it is offered. For $300, you get 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 Pepsi beverages, and a bag of popcorn. This was a win for our family! Dinner and a hockey game made for a great night while vacationing in Seattle. Even in the nosebleeds, the view was pretty good, and they offer lots of screens to make sure you don't miss a beat. First timer and thought CPA was cool for UFC! Felt modern, with a nice design... never felt super packed.. section 21 was awesome with great views of the cage and Jumbotron. I've been to CPA for quite a few Kraken games so I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it just yet! Was just here last night for a game and saw that I haven't left my five stars... Oooops! The rebuilt CPA is gorgeous. Definitely a huge upgrade and such a nice facility. I imagine concerts here are also amazing. There are tons of local bites available here as well as tons of places to get drinks. Prices are throughhh the roof but that's to be expected. There are some spots that you can find "value" beers, but even then that's $10. Out of all of the games that I've been to I feel like I've never had a bad seat, all the views are solid. Overall this is a solid venue and it's always a good time here! read more

Was in town on a Wednesday night and decided to check out the Seattle Kraken at the Climate Pledge Arena. We walked downtown from our hotel, got to the Westlake station, and took the monorail directly to Climate Pledge arena-which makes too easy and very convenient to go see a game, and not only that, but the monorail ticket is free if you buy a kraken ticket on Ticketmaster. Many food & drink options inside, we grabbed burgers which were awesome compared to so many other arena concessions and some IPAs. The seats were padded and comfortable, and even seats on the upper levels provided great sight lines. The sound system was also super good. Kraken only scores one point, but it was an exciting one point, and we had a blast. I'll be back for another Kraken game. read more

I already reviewed the Moet Lounge experience before and this one is for the normal seating and Symmetra Club lounge. I have been to arena for a few Kraken games and one of the occasions, my ticket wasn't that great. It was just a normal seat on the 3rd level. Even then, I thought the viewing experience was very good. I know the sound system here gets mixed reviews but every time I came here, I had zero issues with the sound - in fact, I thought it was amazing. A couple of weeks ago, I came here for the LE SSERAFIM Easy Crazy Hot tour and sat in the Symmetra club (Row B). And wow... This really was an experience. I did not have to look at the screen to see the artists and their performances and once again, the sound system was amazing. Of all the concert venues I have been in Seattle, I have to say Climate Pledge Arena by far has been the best. Symmetra club offers a dedicated bar, restroom, and seating area. Our tickets were very expensive but we didn't really pay that for the amenities (we just wanted to be up close to see LE SSERAFIM). But it was certainly a plus. Drinks and food are ridiculously expensive though. I will update my review after attending the Laufey Matter of Time tour. Since it'll be a completely different genre of music from LE SSERAFIM, maybe my review will be helpful to some! EDIT - UPDATE! Just came back from Laufey and it was awesome! We were in Section 215. Much farther away from the stage compared to the LE SSERAFIM show. Sound was great and the seats were awesome. We couldn't really see her face or anything from up here but we didn't have to always just stare at the screens. A great value seat without much obstruction. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge - # 16 Climate Change Arena is where the WNBA Seattle Storms play and the professional hockey team. The arena layout allows plenty of entrance doors and escalators to take you to the first floor. I parked at the lot by the Space Needle and walked to the arena easy in and easy out. Third time I've seen Bryan Adams, second time at Climate Pledge. Super excited to see Pat Benatar opening up for him. I've also been here once to see Depeche Mode. A really fun venue with an excellent sound and great vibes! Clean bathrooms and typical concert style seats. Depending on who you're seeing I suppose will affect your decision. The service here was friendly. Several self serve areas to choose beverages which are the typical concert price. Expensive. VIP areas were available for other sections which I did not have access to. Super fun concert experience! Parking for this venue can be found all over the place around here. This is a very cool venue. Like most concert venues, everything is expensive. Unlike most concert venues you can actually see where the money is going so...it's not *that* bothersome? The beer is easily double-digit in price but, at least it's local hoppy, dank craft beer and it's served in a metal cup? Stuff like that. Very cool aren. Came here for a Seattle Storm game and the energy was electric. Annoying that our security guy really clamped down on people's bags--only clear bags and someone was turned away with a tiny purse. Staff was helpful. Good food and drinks--enjoyed garlic fries and also saw people with poke?! Lots of local beers and some cocktails. Some walls feature cool local sports history and green/eco-friendly walls. There's public transit outside and it's pretty intimate. Suites are near the top which is weird to me. The SuperSonics aren't there anymore but people turn out for the Storm! Energy was amazing. The crowd helped the Storm hand the Lynx their first loss of the season. Lots of merch. Good acoustics. Most seats have a good view because of how small it is. read more

I've been to CPA for various sporting and music events and had a consistently good experience. The place is big and can get a bit confusing to navigate, but there are lots of signs and staff throughout the building to help navigate you. All the staff are friendly and more than willing to help. New bag rules at CPA mean that lines for security can take long even if you have a clear bag, so I recommend not bringing one if you're able to bring just a couple things in your pockets. A Truly Electrifying First WNBA Experience at Climate Pledge Arena! From the moment I walked up to Climate Pledge Arena, I was in awe. The view of the Space Needle as a backdrop is simply breathtaking--it perfectly sets the tone for what's inside. The arena itself is lit up in an electric lime green, proudly showing off Seattle's vibrant city colors. Inside and out, the stunning artwork and immersive technology reflect the energy and innovation of Seattle, a true tech-forward city that blends creativity with cutting-edge design. The arena is super clean, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic from the entrance all the way to the concession stands--huge shoutout to the entire team for keeping the energy up and making everyone feel welcomed. As for the food and drinks, they were a bit of a mixed bag. I had the slice of pepperoni pizza, which was good, but definitely pricey at $17 for a single slice. The chicken fingers were solid but also on the expensive side. I also grabbed a beer for $16 and a cocktail for $24--so just be prepared to spend if you're planning to eat and drink inside the arena. The only real letdown was the French fries, which were cold and hard. One of the biggest highlights of the night was the in-game giveaways. I received a clear Seattle Storm bag, which made a great souvenir--thank you Storm team for that thoughtful touch! There were so many chances to win fun things like raffle prizes, Nike shoes, grab bags, and even free tickets for the next game just for being the loudest fan. I loved how interactive everything was, from the outdoor DJ and cheer team to the live entertainment before the game. Although the Seattle Storm didn't win, the fans brought such great energy, and the game itself was exciting to watch. I felt lucky to be part of such an electric crowd. A few tips for first-timers: * Arrive early! Traffic in downtown Seattle can be a lot, and getting there ahead of time lets you enjoy the pre-game festivities. * Park in one of the garages near the arena--$25 for the night and just a short walk (one block) to the entrance. * Bring your energy--you might just leave with a prize! So pumped that we had the opportunity to see Dua Lipa in concert at the Climate Pledge! We had general admission standing tickets. Check in was super easy. Tons of parking if you drive but a tad bit pricey. Staff are all helpful and nice. Bathrooms were clean. I also really appreciated that if you were on the standing floor area, they were passing out water in cups before the concert started to keep everyone hydrated and comfortable. That's really great! Overall, sound and visuals were amazing! Would definitely come back to see other shows and concerts! But maybe I'd opt for a seat because my old lady back and legs can't take it anymore. read more

I visited for 2 kraken games and also considered attending a concert since one of the guards/attendants outside mentioned the price of the day of tickets! But I was not prepared with a smaller bag on my walk that day. All the staff I interacted with was very kind and helpful for me to get around. Simple Minds, Modern English, Soft Cell Concert on 5/18/25 was amazing. So much fun. It's hilarious to see grays doing 80's dancing in the aisles. Plenty of beer and beverage options. If you use the food vending machines, be sure to open the door immediately after paying. The time to open the door is very short and I paid twice as a result. That seems intentional. Audio is amazing in this venue. The seats are comfortable even on the floor and the staff are helpful and easy to approach to ask questions or directions. Great place for concerts, just make sure to pay for parking in advance. read more

I attended a Kraken game and found my experience was great. As I bought the ticket on Ticketmaster, I downloaded the Kraken app so that I could get free transportation to and from the arena. It was easy to link my account and even though it said 2 hours before game time, I was able to get on the monorail for free 2.5 hours before. The doors are labelled on the outside so I knew where to line up 90 minutes before they opened. Many people had clear bags, but I had a small bag for my essentials. Going through security was quick and easy. I made my way to ice level on the visitor's side to watch the pregame skate. The ushers were friendly and great to meet other fans. My seat and washrooms are easy to find and concourse spacious so it was not crowded getting in and out of the building. They had a DJ and created lots of energy, and great to see lots of kids a the game. I didn't buy food or drink so I can't comment on that. There was a line getting on the monorail after the game but it moved quick. I would definitely come here to see another event! read more

Made it here with my friend to watch the NJ Devils take on the Seattle Kraken. It was my first visit and was happy to see some NHL action even though not a huge hockey fan. It was a decent crowd, and the Devils won 3-2. The concessions staff were friendly and getting through security and up to our seats was easy, just how I like it. I didn't walk around the arena to take in the architecture but it's nice and looks small outside but it's surprisingly big inside. Apparently, the arena name isn't just for show. "Our goal is to be the most progressive, responsible and sustainable arena in the world. It might sound ambitious, but that's the point. We aren't named after a corporation. We are named after The Climate Pledge, founded by Amazon and Global Optimism in 2019, which is a commitment from companies globally to be net zero carbon by 2040." we'll see how that all goes, but it's nice to have an arena at Seattle Center for games and concerts. Now if they can just get some NBA Basketball back here... read more

Attended the Kraken v. Canucks game last night. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the experience immensely. This is my favorite hockey arena. First, it was so clean and all staff were helpful. The crowds were easily moving, no pushing or shoving. What a refreshing experience! The food selection is top notch. Mister Softee and a Deschutes Black Porter? Yes, please. My husband enjoyed the salmon burger. Next time we want to try the sit down Moet and Chandon restaurant. The suites looked really nice. Catering was overflowing and staff seemed to be very attentive. Seats were great in the upper section. There were tons of giveaways. Fans were easy going, could have done without fighting on the ice but NHL refuses to severely cut down on that. So, yeah. Bus dropped off and picked up right in front of the stadium. Easiest ride from lower First Hill and all for a mere $5.50/round trip. See website for details and tickets. read more

Nice facility that is way above average in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Doesn't feel like a stadium - more like a nice mall or department store in Asia. That said, I didn't try the food so I don't have any experience with the service. The prices were too ridiculous so I passed. Speaking of pricess, the parking was INSANE - $65!!! Are you kidding me??? That was more than my concert ticket! We parked down the street for "Event Price $35" but got suprised with a $44 bill when actually paying for our ticket in advance. All the more reason to hate Seattle and never go to the city again. read more

I have been to Climate Pledge Arena several times for Kraken games and concerts. Overall, it is a nice place to see events. Most of the seats are good for hockey and then the acoustics are good for concerts. Food is OK, but better at both Lumen and T-Mobile--they should come up with better choices. The prices are crazy also, but that is to be expected. read more

First time attending an event here happened to be for Florence + The Machine so the venue could've been a dumpster and I would've loved every minute of it already. Our seats were all the way up in the 217 section, first row which is good since our view was unobstructed, I still wouldn't buy these seats again, not for a show that is really worth seeing up close like Florence, and I don't know if it was the cheap seats or all the seats are the same but the chair itself was small. The acoustics were good, food and drinks were pricey so eat before you go in there, worst pretzel and "cheese sauce" which ended up being Tostitos cheese dip. We had some girls sneak into the section and stand sort of blocking our view but the usher was quick to turn them away. Every usher/employee we encountered was very nice, helpful and polite. I'd love to go back maybe catch a Kraken game but will splurge a little more to get better seats. read more

Came here with a buddy to see Dimension 20. Getting in and out was pretty easy. The food and drink prices are wild. $7 for a bottle of water, and they were extremely strict at security, like another poster here mentioned a couple in front of us was turned down and told to go but a clear plastic bag when she had a very small purse in her possession. It was also freezing inside the arena. On a positive note I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. I have been here for a kraken game as well and the view of the arena has been great both times. read more

We saw a concert at this venue recently and had a great experience. All of the stars we encountered were really friendly and the service was speedy. The acoustics were great and there was no waiting to get on the building, which was really nice. Priced were incredibly high for food and Bev (but maybe that's to be expected these days). My one issue was I thought they didn't have enough signage guiding to sections and entrances. read more

Came here for a Kraken game and had a great time! Had no idea that this used to be Key Arena, it's been upgraded quite a bit. It's very nice, sleek, and has a high-tech feel inside. Of course, expect jacked-up prices for F&B, but that's just the name of the game. Only complaint is that not all entrances have x-rays and they don't mark them, so my friend had to go around to the other side of the arena and wait in line again to get in. read more

Food: like any of the other venues food and drink cost more than a meal at a decent restaurant. It's pricy, but I will pay it at Molly D's burgers. Service: I've seen other reviewers recount some good service stories, and I'm glad to see that it is happening; but one thing that has been consistent for me is that the service has sucked at every event I've been to except a Kraken game. Particularly, the concerts have been horrible. Ambiance: The seats are uncomfortable. In particular, the legroom is non-existent. The bar seats are crammed in so tight that there is no space to move your chair in and out without disruption to the people beside you. There are also spots at the bar seating where there are columns behind a seat. People can barely get in their seat because there is nowhere to pull the chair out except to the side annoying the person next to you. There are also partially obstructed views that aren't advised when buying the tickets. Getting to the arena is no picnic. There may be a way to find out ahead of time, but I'm not sure, if some of the streets are going to be blocked. Sometimes they are, and sometimes they aren't which can effect what gate you enter. We could not reach the ADA entry last week and had to enter in gates 10 or 11. Our seats were by the ADA. It made a big difference for someone who is ADA. If you can go down early and find your own parking, that's great. Otherwise, you are going to get robbed on event parking and/or Lyft charges. Some of the things I've mentioned probably wouldn't be an issue for able bodied people, so it wouldn't hinder your experience.
