He has done so every time our company has had our cars services there. The only likely scenario is he had a "senior moment" and got the cars confused. Another odd thing about this place is all the customers seem to want to make friends and every time we go there without fail we see customers have an entire half hour conversation to the other customers they don't know standing there. For some reason the vibe here somehow brings out the good New Yorker side.

I prefer to clean my interiors myself including vacuuming. I come here since it's the closest car wash near me and it does the job mostly. The car gets hosed by high pressure hoses first then it just goes through the auto wash. After it comes out, it gets driven to the curb where 2-3 men quickly wipes it. I always still see dirty spots afterwards though. I treat this spot as a pre wash as I always need to finish cleaning it afterwards. Payment: they give you a paper ticket then you go inside to the cashier to pay. They are typically distracted by their phones or chatting with a coworker. It would be nice if there's ever an option of washing the car yourself with a high pressure hose and suds available at these places, I went to one in another country which I felt was genius!

When I approached the counter to make my payment, I greeted the cashier (Employee #616, morning shift). she was completely engrossed in her personal phone and did not acknowledge my greeting, make eye contact, or offer any form of welcome. her dismissive attitude was both rude and unwelcoming. as a frequent customer, in believe that a fundamental part of customer service is making clients feel valued and respected. this interaction was the opposite of that standard. The attitude displayed by your employee negatively deflects on your business and undermines the trust and goodwill of your customers. you are losing a loyal customer.

I assumed they were telling me the truth but I didn't tell them to go ahead because my son had booked the car into Queens Auto and Truck Service to look at a possible issue with the suspension (i.e. noise going over bumps). Queens Auto and Truck Service examined the car and said there was nothing wrong with the CV boot or the suspension. Turns out the 'suspension issue' has to do with the sunroof seal drying out and needing to be replaced. I can do that myself. Anyway I will definitely be taking my Lexus to Queens Auto and Truck Service in the future.

Two places in LIC couldn't do it- ok fine. But the actual Mitsubishi dealership/ repair shop in woodside couldn't - had us leave the car there for two weeks and still didn't do it! Finally, we came here because of some post we found on Reddit, and it was so easy, they had it done in an hour or so- all they had to do was contact the DMV- they had the direct number to the correct department and show the guy a picture that the car passed and bam, I had my inspection sticker. Plus I went back another time to have them actually work on some things like the brakes and they were great- they gave me an accurate estimate and adhered to it, and I got my car back in a few days.
