Last Sunday, our garage door suddenly wouldn't close. My first suspicion was the electronic sensors coming out of alignment. I fiddled with the sensors with no success. I then decided to override the sensors but the door would not go all the way down and would return to the open position. It was time to get a professional. I did not want a "big company" and I prefer to give my business to a local-based small company. So I went through Nextdoor.com and saw good endorsements for Delta Diablo Doors. I checked here and found the same excellent endorsements for Tyler and Delta Diablo Doors so I gave him a call. Tyler answered on the second ring and I told him about our garage door issue. He was in the process of installing a garage door elsewhere but he still took the time to ask me questions to troubleshoot the problems. I felt bad because I knew he was busy. However, he was very patient and I immediately felt that he is really good. He asked me to send him pictures to give him a better idea of the problems. Five minutes after I txted him some pictures, he called right back and told me what the problem was and how it might be resolved. Fortunately, I was able to figure out how to manually close the door fully and didn't need a handyman to help me with a quick fix so I asked Tyler if he was available for Monday. He gave me an ETA and actually arrived early. Since he knew what the problem was, he came with the equipment and material needed to fix the door. Tyler fixed the problem quickly while providing me with a lot of information going forward. He is very honest and didn't try to upsell us. The bill was very reasonable and we gladly paid him for a job excellently done, together with the guidance he gave us. Tyler is now our go-to guy for garage door issues. Our neighbors are also concerned about who to contact but that will soon change after we talk to them. read more

Such an honest, reliable and reasonably priced guy. The springs on my garage door went and Tyler came and replaced them the next day. After he replaced the springs he said there was an electric wire that needed replacing and he would return the next day to replace it. I offered to pay him then but he would not let me until the job was finished-even though it was nothing to do with the springs he replaced. Tyler (the owner) finished installing our garage door(s) last week. We first called him in a panic just over a month ago since our garage door was accidentally ran into which created a huge dent. The main garage didn't open until Tyler came and provided a quick fix. I had the torsion? spring break on my garage door Sunday morning & couldn't open the door to get my car out. So took the truck to work & looked on yelp for someone who could replace it & who had good reviews, since everything I read said "don't try this yourself"! I called Tyler & left a message explaining the problem. He called me back within an hour (on Sunday) & said he could be there at 5:00 PM the same day & it would cost $175.00 complete (did I mention it was Sunday?). I figured it would cost that much just to get someone to come look at it "on a Sunday), so I said "please do come at 5:00". Tyler showed up as promised & replaced the broken spring, but not only that he replaced several brackets & bolts that were bad (that i wasn't even aware of) on the rails along with lubricating all moving parts & did all this at no extra charge! It now works better & quieter than any time since we've owned the house (5 years). Another update, this Friday my garage door came off the tracks and I was at work. I called Tyler without any hesitation to request his service. Tyler was prompt to reply to my call. Tyler heard the issue and accommodated my service request in his busy schedule and was at our home 3 hours later. I was at work he inspected our garage door found out that the hinge was broken. He didn't have the exact part to replace so he temporarily installed another hinge so we can continue to use the door and said he will be back on Saturday at 5:00pm with the right parts. Tyler didn't charge anything for his trip and he said he will take $50 on Saturday after he did the final repair. On Saturday Tyler called at 4:30pm to make sure we are at home. He was on time and replaced the hinge and did a visual inspection of the door. When I offered his $50 payment his response totally surprised me especially after making 2 visits to my home to do this repair. Tyler said that the hinge is not a big deal and that he is running late to his next appointment, shook hands and moved on. I was like Whaaaat too class service and it is free. Thank you Tyler. Ok an update...... At last my old garage door opener gave up on me. Called back Tyler right away and requested for a quote he was transparent and said exactly what I will get for $395. I got a lift master with wifi controlled garage opener, with 2 lift master remotes, one key pad controlled opener to open your garage from outside when u don't have your remotes. This is great coz now when we go out for evening walks we don't have to carry out remotes. The total system was replaced with new safety sensors, frame, and belt. This model also has a lift master app from which you can monitor and control your garage door form your smart phone. The $395 also included installation and 5 years warranty 100% parts and labor. Tyler and I talked on a Friday and he was replacing my garage opener system next Wednesday. I was out of town and my wife said he was very professional and did a clean job, no mess left behind. He also checked the garage spring and door alignment as part of his installation process. He didn't try to sell us any bullshit repairs. Prompt, professional, and responsible. Early in the morning or the middle of the night - 4 am the garage door decided it had enough and wasn't going to go all the way down or back up and my car was in the garage. I called around 8 am and a bit later followed up with a text. He was able to come at 4 pm. Super qualified & very nice. It's fixed for a relieving $100. Today as we were lowering our garage door we noticed it was going down crooked but before we could hit the panic button to make it stop, several rollers came out of their track and a wire cable snapped.
