One of the rollers on our garage door came off. I called Your Garage Door Guys, got their recording and left a message about needing my garage door fixed, left my number, thank them and hung up. In their ad it says their respond time is 20 min. I waited 4 hours and called again saying I hope they got my first message, if not I repeated it and left my number again. Well that last call was made 7 hrs ago. Their ad also says they are available 24-7!!!! I would NEVER recommend this company. I had called when our door wouldn't close. I knew to use the emergency pull but as I did the bolts flew off. Found them in the driveway following morning. I called Bill in a panic and he set up an appointment for the flooring day. When I came home from work I screwed the bolts back into place and reset the emergency pull, as Bill had instructed. I was able to fix the door and called to let Bill know that my appointment was no longer needed. It is such a wonderful feeling to know that a company is willing to help you fix your problem over the phone when they could easily gouge you for a "visit". Only 14 hours ago, I was told I needed to replace both my spools, my spring was broke, AND I needed a new Track. I hesitated, and called Brent Back, who was SUPER professional all the way though. I called Garage Door Guys late on a Sunday night because our single stall garage (with only one way in/out) door was stuck! I was in a complete panic because my boyfriend needed to get the car out to leave for work at 5 am. The owner answered the phone and was willing to stop by after an outing with his family. He charged an emergency service fee to come and rescue our car but who can blame him? He came almost immediately to the home to help us. His kids were even still in the car! They did have to come back another day to adjust some things and make sure everything would work great going forward. My door is repaired and the work was very professional. Thank you, Bill, for a really great experience. I wasn't at home to see him work on our garage door as I was at work but from what my wife tells me and from speaking to him on the phones a couple of times, i can tell Bill knows his stuff and is a man of integrity. Early in the morning, my wife calls me up that the garage door won't open and at that time she needed to bring the kids to school. I hustled in calling several people, of which Bill was one of them, and was hoping for an early appointment. I was able to get a schedule with Bill for after lunch. I didn't know that my wife was also calling people and got an appointment from a different business for an earlier time. Bill was gracious with my cancelling the appointment and even gave me some advice on costs. The other person arrived but just diagnosed the problem, said that they can come back to fix it after 2 days, and even couldn't open the garage door manually. I told my wife to just pay the other guy's required 'diagnosis' fee and I will just call Bill. Fortunately, Bill still had his schedule open so the earlier cancelled appointment was set again. Now our garage door works. He really did an awesome job and i can tell he even tightened some of the loose rollers (dunno what they are called) on the side holding the panels. To me, that means besides the problem i called him up for, he even inspected the rest of the garage door. What a guy! Our garage door is really old to the point where they don't make the parts anymore.
