Tyler is such a nice guy. Super great to just chat with, very kind and personable. He installed my garage door, tracks, and motor 16 years ago and just recently, the spring broke. He came out and fixed it for cheaper than other quotes, and all in about 25 mins. Having a single wear and tear spring break over 16 years tells me a lot about his work quality! read more

Tyler at Delta Diablo Doors is hands-down the best in the business! My husband and I have relied on his services across three different homes we've moved into for over two decades since 2005 (one in Antioch and two in Brentwood), and he never disappoints. Over the years, he's helped me program our garage door opener, wall panels, installed a new motor, and was incredibly quick and responsive when one of our garage doors refused to stay closed. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, always takes the time to share helpful maintenance tips, and possesses an exceptional work ethic. Even though the quality of his work is top-tier, his prices remain incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend him to anyone in the East Bay needing garage door services!! read more

I asked Tyler for help with my garage doors. He was able to squeeze me in the same day and he did a tune up on my garage doors. He's very professional and you can really tell he loves helping people. Look no further than Delta Diablo Doors! Tyler is accommodating, knowledgeable and fair. I contacted him when the spring broke on my garage door. He was able to come very next day to complete the repair. Fast forward about two months when I noticed a few "quirks" with the garage door opening/closing. When I messaged Tyler, he responded immediately and again was able to come very next day. Turns out, the issue wasn't related to the prior spring repair. but Tyler went ahead and fixed it on the spot. Definitely will recommend! read more

Tyler from Delta Diablo doors is the best. Honest and good quality service. Extremely reasonable cost compared to all these other guys on yelp. I have dealt with about 3 garage door companies in the past. They were all rated pretty good on yelp with a large number of reviews also. In my dealing with them, they all did price inflation were dishonest with their quality of work, used pressure tactics to increase pricing. They know your car is stuck in the garage and you want the garage door fixed as soon as possible and they try to charge you the most they can taking advantage of your situation. Tyler was amazing to work with. On phone he asked me a few basic questions about the door type, spring type, what the problem was and quoted me the price on phone! Few days later called that he had an earlier appointment open up to come in and fix earlier than scheduled. He arrived on time, courteous, explained everything in detail. His quote on phone was exactly what he charged me. He had to add few additional parts but didn't charge me extra for it. If you need anything related to garage door installation or repair go with Tyler. read more

Easy to work with. Reasonably priced too. Upfront and honest. Highly recommend. Will use again when needed.

Before I moved to Auburn I had a home in Walnut Creek in which I had great experiences hiring Tyler for any garage door issues! Since I trusted Tyler's advice and didn't yet know of any garage door guys up here in Auburn, I took a chance and called Tyler to discuss my garage door opener issues. Knowing that I was currently not located within his service area, Tyler still spent over a half hour of his time to walk me through troubleshooting the issues! With his feedback I could confidently contact a local garage door guy and know that I wouldn't be ripped off by purchasing extra service that wasn't necessary! I highly recommend Tyler for any garage door issues and am sorry that I live too far away to continue using him! read more

Zero pressure or upsell and explained pros/cons clearly. On top of that - his quote was very reasonable. This is the 2nd time Tyler has saved me from having to leave my broken garage door open all night. The 1st time was years ago when my opener started making lots of noise & wouldn't close. Living in the city of Antioch leaving your garage door open all night would be all bad!! Tyler came out & had it working again in no time. This time I set a box on top of a cabinet & forgot to put it away. The next day when I opened my garage door, the box caught on the door & pulled it off the rails. Tyler came out at 6:30pm to save me again!! He is very knowledgeable & a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend calling him if you have any problems or are looking for a new garage door. read more

We had the great misfortune of having our garage door spring snap on us one evening in January 2024. Tyler answered his phone after the posted business hours for Delta Diablo, and arranged to fit the repair work we needed in on the following day. We have used this company more than once. Tyler is always quick, friendly, thorough, and his rates are reasonable, Definitely our go-to company for these kinds of repairs. read more

I contacted Delta Diablo Doors since they were local. I needed a new belt for my garage door opener and Tyler asked where I was located as he would like to assess in person. He was at my home within an hour. After discussing my issue for a while he called around to see if he could actually get a drive belt. Mission fail!! The company that originally installed the opener stated that one could be ordered and received in about 30 days then a technician could come out and install. However, Tyler stated that he could probably replace the entire rod (which included the rod, drive belt and related parts) by purchasing the entire kit, which was available. This guy was extremely professional and the cost would be less than having just a "service call for an estimate" from others ( I checked). Tyler called back the next day with the part and completed the job in about and hour. Fantastic!! I highly recommend Delta Diablo Doors based on the knowledge, speed, and overall professionalism. read more

Tyler was great! Very knowledgeable and did a great job and very reasonable pricing. He replaced old springs on the door as requested and in no time at all. Highly recommend and will work with him again in the future! read more

Another great experience with Tyler. He installed a bottom retainer at my rental for a great price and gave me a helpful tip to fix my garage door opener at home. I removed the bulb (even incandescent), and now the remote works! I had even tried swapping remotes before with no luck. Still not sure why one opener works with all bulbs and the other doesn't--but glad it's working now! read more

Real Professional! Tyler was a Real Professional right from the start. When I called Tyler and told him what happen to our garage he immediately answered my questions and already knows what to do to fix it. He also gave me a good price right away $120 for everything and he schedule me the next day. He also said if he found out that our garage has more issue than he quoted me, then he wont charge me for the checked up. He arrived on time and start working. Tyler was very knowledgeable. He knows every parts. He also give me helpful tips and how to maintain it to save you money. He is like a professor in college. He don't BS you. Just straightup honest man. The best part is, He gave me a 6months warranty and charged me less than he quoted me. I am one of those DIY'ers that trying to save money thinking that its easy after watching YouTube, you can do it yourself . I had my head a laceration for trying to remove the brackets that flew and hit my head from the tension cables. You dont see everything on videos, So sometimes you have to leave it to the pros. If you're looking for a professional garage door guy, call Tyler. He's a Real Professional!!! I will recommend 100%. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! read more

I thought I slammed our door so hard, coming in from garage as I heard a big noise. I did not pay attention to it until my husband could not open the garage door. That's when we discovered the garage door spring snapped and broke. I remember a friend of mine talking nice experience with her garage guy and I knew I saved his contact information. Without checking other companies and checking Yelp for reviews, I called Tyler, the owner and garage guy of Delta Diablo Doors. He picked up my call, and within 3 hours, he came and replaced the spring for a reasonable cost. He even added maintenance tips, what to watch out for, etc. I say it is a good idea to save good and honest guys contact information as you'll never know when you may need them. Ten years ago a spring broke on my garage door. I called Delta Diablo and Tyler came and replaced the springs at a very reasonable price. Saturday, another spring broke. So happy I chose Tyler to help with our garage door! He's nice and does honest work. Got a couple of quotes from a few garage repair company's nearby and Tyler was the quickest to respond with the best price and warranty. Our garage spring had snapped and he was able to schedule an appointment within a few days. On the day of our appointment he arrived a half hour early and even helped fix a board on my side gate that prevented my gate from opening due to the rain warping it. He replaced the springs quickly and also helped reprogram our garage motor. He also gave some helpful tips about lubricating the hinges to make sure our door stays running well. Another happy customer review. Our garage door spring snapped on Friday at about 4pm,the door jammed blocking the car inside. The situation was like "be locked" at home for the entire weekend. Can't do even some grocery shopping without calling Uber . Tyler picked up the phone, asked us to take a few pictures of that broken spring and to send it to his cell phone, attached to the text message, just to make sure that he has that exact spring in stock. Then he came in 30 minutes, replaced that spring, lubricated rollers and springs for the other door, inspected all other items for the door and left us happy and satisfied around 7 pm on Friday night. The charge for his hard work was surprisingly fair especially keeping in mind that extreme situation and the work done after hours. Tyler is one of those old school honest business owner/contractors that hard to find now. Very professional and takes care of his clients in need going above and beyond. Thanks for the prompt and professional service. Highly recommended. read more

I found Tyler of Delta Diablo Doors on Nextdoor. After seeing all his 5 star reviews on Yelp, I knew he was the one to call. I explained to him my son purchased a new garage door opener and would like to have the old springs replaced before he installed the new motor. At first, he said if the springs were not broken and the door was balanced, he would not come out to replace them. I couldn't believe he didn't want the business! I think he was trying to convince me not to spend the money if not necessary. I called him back a month later and asked again if he would do the job. I tried my best to convince him and this time he agreed to come take a look. He came out two days later on a Saturday. He had the old springs out and the new springs in very quickly. I then asked him if he would be willing to install the motor as well to save my son the trouble of coming out to do it. To my surprise, he said yes and even gave me a great deal on the total cost. He came back on Monday and installed the motor. Everything was completely done - thanks to Tyler! Tyler has been doing this for many years, so he knows exactly what he is doing. He is honest, reliable, informative, and friendly. Give Tyler a call next time you have garage door issues. I know I will call him again if I have any kind of garage door problems. read more

Tyler is an amazing guy, hands down. Very professional, knowledgeable, and honest. He fixed our garage door when it stopped going up and down which ended up being the spring, and told us how we can maintain it so it never happens again. When I asked him about possibly upgrading it one day with an insulated version, he provided many affordable options that he could order which were much cheaper than the big store brands. We still haven't replaced the garage door since it's still working well, but when it's time, I'm sure going to give Tyler a call. read more
