Called AAAA Quality Garage Door in the morning and they had someone over same day. Spoke to Darren and he was great over the phone. Daniel came to the house and was very courteous and professional and clearly communicated what needed to be done. I was very satisfied. Moment later (about 2 hrs+), was leaving the house around 4:15pm and the door was not closing properly. Tried three times before calling back and talking to Darren and I was preparing to argue to have someone come and look at the problem---was extremely impressed that Darren said he would come out look at in the 5pm hour. He came, and guess what, the door was closing properly but Darren figured out what the problem was and gave me a solution using a candle. (totally works btw)! AAAA Quality provided exactly what their name says... a quality experience! I have been wanting to replace my original noisy and bulky garage door motor with a new wall mounted one and Darren set me up with the top of the line Liftmaster model. He was so wonderful to work with as well. He showed up early to the job with an assistant ( we know a lot of times, services show up between a time window) and got right to work! Within a few minutes I was already impressed with his professionalism and expertise and was thanking myself for hiring these gentleman to install the door opener that I thought I would be able to do. They suggested that some of the wiring be ran through the attic in order to have more aesthetic final product and I am glad that they did. They finished the install in only an hour and a half! Being curious as I am, they were totally understanding that I wanted to watch the process and they answered any questions that I had. He took the time to explain all the new features that the lift master door opener had as it was smart device capable and made sure that the motor was precisely tuned. I did have an issue with the door opener not closing and when I text him about it, he called me back instead to discuss the potential issues. He promptly returned to my house to fix the issue and his team quickly realized that it was something I did to the sensor. Problem solved. My wires for the sensor were broken so I always had to hold a garage door opener down so it I would go down. I'm sad to post this review, but my experience with this company was very disappointing. We initially called this company because we needed new garage door openers for our house. My husband was out of town, but he made all the arrangements so it would be less off my plate. He said the garage door openers were $70, but then the owner said that in order to program them they would need to charge for a service call that would include doing 20-30 minutes of routine maintenance to our door for an additional $95. Two guys were scheduled for 8 am, they showed up on, I believe one was the owner and the other was a trainee. The owner pulled out the garage door openers, went inside the garage door, closed it and opened and then handed them to the trainee who proceeded to hand me the new garage door openers and let me know that they were all done. All this took less then 3 minutes. He did not look at our garage door, he did not service it, he did even mention it. Yet he billed us for $95. I was about to write a yelp review right away, as that's just WRONG. But my husband said, let me call him first; "he sounds like a nice guy, I'm sure there was some sort of miscommunication". So my husband called him; the owner proceeded to say that they checked out the garage door but it was in good shape and therefore it did not need to be serviced (I was standing there the whole time- I did not see him check out the door). So my husband asked if he could adjust their service call fee since they didn't really service anything. He proceeded to say no and that this was their policy. So my husband let the owner know that he had held me back from writing a yelp review or calling the better business bureau because he thought since the work the guy said would be performed was not. He was merely letting the guy know that what he is doing is not okay and that we would let others know. The guy's tone changed, he said he would refund our money and then proceeded to tell my husband that he hopes he can sleep at night knowing that he stealing from someone. I'm pretty sure that's not a great way of delivering a customer service refund. And might I remind him, he was the one that did not do what he said he would do and still charged us the full amount...so frankly, I hope he can sleep at night knowing what he is really doing and is not doing. Over the next week he proceeded to write an email saying that our refund check was on the way, in addition to saying he was sorry we felt cheated, even though he's the one that feels cheated now. And then the real kicker, was receiving the actual check, in which the memo stated "extortion". It's obvious he felt threatened by a review stating that he did not keep his word. I have no idea how this guy has any good reviews because he not did not do what he said he was going to do, yet he charged us his full rate and then proceeded to make seriously inappropriate customer service comments on three different occasions because we called him out for charging us for not doing what he said he was going to do. He could have remedied this situation in so many different ways while providing at least cordial customer service; he could have discounted his service fee for just programming the openers or he could have politely and nicely stuck to his story about the service fee being their policy and have just dealt with a bad review....all I know is that he could have done either of the above in a mature, cordial way but instead he chose to provide very rude customer service. Just had Darren come out to change a broken spring on our garage door. I would have given them a higher rating based on their work and response time . I just don't like dealing with people who try to deceive their clients so they can earn a few extra dollars. He showed up on time and told me both springs should be changed even though only 1 had broke. No problem, makes sense. Then when he's done he tells me there is a 3.5% fee to use my debit card for payment. So I have to pay extra to give you money for your services? This is not standard business practice and is something they should tell all clients in advance not after the job is done. When I told him I was not happy about this and would never use them again he really didn't seem to care. I guess AAAA Garage Door feels $8.75 is more important then a satisfied client. read more

My garage door and opener broke, I had a short time frame to replace it and their response was not only prompt but the follow up was first-rate The owner, Darren Hodges, was in the area 6 months after the October installation. He actually stopped by to double check the alignment of things to to make sure the door was settling nicely after having gone though it's first winter. At 12:30pm my garage would not work, the spring broke; I called AAAA Garage because over 12 years ago I had them add a 1/2 horse power motor and move my 1/3 horse power to the smaller garage. They did A+ work back in 2000; then once I called them for a problem I had a year ago and they helped me trouble shoot it without them coming out; then just today as mentioned above, I saw that the spring broke, I called them right away and Darren said that he can put me on the schedule today and someone between 2pm and 4pm will show up; he also said if for some reason they get tied up they would call me; At 3pm Scott showed up with the springs and replaced them and my problem was solved; (talk about fast); I am impressed with their service and taking care of a problem that needed attention right away.
