They have 16 locally brewed and popular California craft beers on tap at all times and weekly rotated, so there's always something new to try. If you aren't sure what to try you can get a sampler paddle and try 4 different styles by number off the menu. Once you've decided on a favorite, you can always order a pint to thoroughly enjoy it. They have a great happy hour from 4 to 7 and the people that work there are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Occasionally they have a tap takeover by a local brewer, so you can try all their beers on the premises. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by the owner of an establishment, so much so that my friend and I didn't even order a round. This was my first time ever in Tracy. I am an actress from Los Angeles and came here to Key Note speak at an event. When we walked into Delta Brews and began to order the owner ran out and told us to be quiet cause he was having an event. We weren't even talking. It was so rude and unnecessary that I was in shock. He didn't even have the decency to look us in the eyes. The bartender tried to be nice,but by that point there was no way we were spending money at this bar. I was disgusted. As we left, I chose to say something in kindness to the owner and he continued to be rude. We are two respectful and nice women who just wanted to have a beer and we were treated with such disrespect I would never, ever go to this bar in my life again. We walked down to Purgatory Whiskey Bar & Craft Beer and we were treated with respect and love and we had a wonderful time. Now that is a place I would come back from Los Angeles and enjoy! Great little hole in the wall. Awesome experience! The staff is fantastic, the beer is amazing and you can hang out solo or be involved in a conversation with the entire bar. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. Always a great selection of beers on tap. Typically feature some from Altamont. Always a relaxed atmosphere, good music, several TVs for whatever game or event is going on. They're cool about requesting to watch a certain channel/show as well. Once in a while they'll do tap takeovers where they feature a certain brewery, and sometimes do trivia, raffles, etc. I came a while back for the Tioga-Sequoia tap take over and it was a lot of fun, came home with a bunch of free stuff. I was so disappointed to hear that one of our celebrity guest visiting the Valley from Hollywood was so miserably mistreated during a visit to the Central Valley. As an African American, the news I heard of the rudeness she received was embarrassing to the City of Tracy. Thank God, there were others in the town who had a totally different appreciation for people of color. I am from out of the area as well, but will make sure that I by-pass Delta Brew's in the future for fear of being insulted by someone who is the owner of an establishment. If that type of attitude comes from the top, can you imagine what's really going on? If you don't want African Americans to visit your establishment, why don't you just spare us the time and post a sign that says Colored Not Welcomed! So sad that in 2019, such a celebratory occasion ended up in disgrace. read more

Stopped by here last night on a rainy evening. I've been meaning to come here for the last year, but just never was able to make it. Glad my brother and I were able to stop by last night. There are about 15-20 stool seating from the front to the end of the shop. There are about 4-5 mounted tvs to catch your favorite team while you are throwing back a few brewskis. We ordered two flights of beer (4 sample). The cost of the flight ranged from $8 - $12, depending on the type of beer you pick. We tried 8 different beers on tap and loved every one of them. My favorite of the night was a stout. It had a spicy chocolate taste to it, it was comforting and reminded me of christmas. Besides the good beer and welcoming atmosphere, my favorite part of the night was meeting the owner, Scott. He was super helpful and gave the best customer service. I saw him take back two tasting because the customer didn't like it. He not only gave the customer new tastings, but he actually finished the other tastings himself (no beer left behind). I've been here a few times randomly to enjoy a brew. The selection is always good, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are good, too, and place is nice and clean. What more can you ask for? One time when I was there, a patron sitting next to me ordered some food from a (Korean?) restaurant nearby and was delivered to her seat. Scott who was serving my friend and I beers and recommending samples was awesome. Loved the vibes. He had a lot of soft reggae which I LOVE so I can't complain. He had great service. I haven't seen any the beers he had on tap but he actually meets and greets with the distributors and picks the beers he wants served. Delta Brews is the best little bar in Tracy! Scott always greets his guests with a warm smile & takes a notice in regulars. No matter when you come, this place is constantly busy because Scott is well liked no doubt. Service from bar tenders is perfect. Always have a great selection on tap.
