He told me outright he couldn't accommodate my work schedule (because apparently having a job is a dealbreaker for him). Okay, inconvenient but manageable. But instead of working with me like, you know, a professional, he decided to go around me and contact my terminally ill, mentally unwell mother in an attempt to pressure her into scheduling the treatment. Let me repeat that: he tried to manipulate my sick mother to get the job booked. Who does that? And when I asked for his business name so I could, at the very least, know who I was dealing with? Radio silence. Flat-out refused. As if he's running a top-secret bug operation that can't be traced back to any legitimate company. Extremely sketchy. I expected pest control. I got manipulation, guilt-tripping, and a mystery man who acts allergic to transparency. Needless to say, I went with another provider--one who doesn't play mind games or use my mom as a bargaining chip. Dive bombing in my backyard while fighting each other to death. And eating holes into the side of my house. Three of these mf's even had the nerve to fly into my house and buzz around in my bedroom. Enough was enough at that point. I called Linda and she very kindly set me up for an appointment within 48 hours. Alex came out, assessed the situation, and went to WORK. I told him that I'm not one of these animal/pest lovers. That I wanted these things to suffer for the hell they've brought upon me and my family's inability to enjoy a BBQ without ducking and dodging their constant advances. Alex said say no more. He told me all about the spray that would keep these bumblebee wannabes from continuing to use the wood of my house as their own personal hive. A spray that would directly affect their central nervous system and at worst, repel them to someone else's house, and at best, kill them dead. He sprayed all over the roof and side of my house. Such a beautiful sight to see. Even more beautiful is when my son ran up to me saying "dad, look, dead bees!" (888) 347-2010, which is the one I'm reviewing) and it saddens me that this is my first Yelp posting ever, but my experience with Chemtech was so negative for squirrel trapping/removal that I had to post. First off, they require full payment up front, which is already an issue, but hey, I had a rodent emergency that seemed... somewhat straightforward, so I figured it'd get resolved quickly and went with it. Second, they can't adhere to any kind of schedule. While setting an appointment, I was dealing with "Steve" who said I wouldn't need to be present when they made their first inspection of the our house and the problem. As a result, I didn't set an official appointment and when the next day rolled around, I got a phone call at 7pm on my way home from work asking, "Where are you? We've been waiting for an hour." Their "inspection" then occurred at 8pm in the dark with a flashlight, when no one could really see anything. Two nights later they put up a couple of traps over some holes that were in spots completely unrelated to where the sounds in the house were coming from and... that was it! No additional searching (particularly in the area of the house that I indicated the noises were coming from), no checkups beyond what was done in the dark at night. And no visits. I finally needed to get some repairs done and asked them two days before the repairs began (around 3 weeks after the traps went up with no success because... they weren't in the right place) to remove the traps so work could begin. No response. So I had the repairmen remove them. Steve went ballistic saying that "his property" had been removed and I "let someone touch his traps." and ended it with "This case is closed." So. Customer service = 0. Value = 0 (They got a LOT of money up front for a total of around 1.5 hrs of work). Success = 0. Avoid at all costs.

After two weeks, my squirrels situation had been resolved and Steve/Andrew came back to close the entry points. I was impressed that Steve responded to my call and gave me an appointment on the same day especially it was the day before Thanksgiving.
