We always knew the food would be something special coming from the same family that brought Cinque Terra West Osteria to the Pacific Palisades. The Vinzoni family has been expanding their Italian dining empire in the neighborhood with wine bar Entoteca Cinque in 2021, and now their 3rd venture in early 2023 -- a cozy deli & gelato shop DELIzioso Cinque. DELIzioso's food is fresh and wonderful -- just as we have come to expect from the Cinque Terra West team. I popped in one morning to order their Roast Beef panini with caramelized onions, horseradish, arugula, white cheddar and an off-menu vegetarian panini recommendation with grilled Portobello. The paninis came hot off the presses and the flavors were bright and decadent! However, warning -- it is definitely not fast (hot) food. I waited 15-20 minutes for my 2 paninis, and it was similar timing for the person who came after me that ordered a slice of pizza. My son and I were offered plenty of gelato samples while we waited which certainly helped, but if one is looking for a quick bite -- you should definitely call ahead to order. Alternatively, there are plenty of pastries and prepared salads in the glass case which looked intriguing, and I would definitely be interested in trying their soups next time. One person that popped in but left was hoping for already prepared cold sandwiches to grab n go, so I wonder if that may be a menu option in the future! read more

My husband just brought us home - homemade Italian sandwiches to enjoy while while we work from home. What a perk! The owner/ Margo was very friendly to my husband- and that makes all the difference! He loved chatting about his visits to Cinque Terre and his incredible love for Italy. ( We have a home there ) The bread was so fresh, with the perfect crusty exterior. The mozzarella was amazing! Can't recommend enough! I also enjoy the soups in the Fall. Everything is terrific! Thanks again for making my Tuesday less ordinary. read more

Hi, I'm Fredde Duke's dog. She's never called me a "bad dog" but yesterday I snatched her fresh, coveted croissant off the counter. Normally I hunt for truffles because I'm an Italian Water Dog. But, this buttery flaky purrfect croissant was sooooooo, well, Deilizioso -- that I had to write a review. My owner, Fredde threw a hissy fit over what I did but I'm here to give it 5 paws up. My advice to everyone out there is to not leave this purrfect croissant so close to the edge of your counter. It's too inviting for us. read more

Is there a way to give more than 5 stars? We don't live in LA any more, but every time we visit we always swing by Palisades and visit Cinque Terre West, a restaurant around the corner owned by the same family as this deli. This time around we got to sample the foods at the deli and we were not disappointed. we came with a sizeable party and I think we ordered every sandwich on the menu and they were all delicious. I came back one more time before leaving and had a soup, and it was a perfect meal on a colder day. And even if you are not a sandwich or a soup person, go there and try the ice cream. I have not had better ice cream in LA, and we lived there for 15 years. And if you are not an ice cream person - then croissants. Some of the best and most underrated sandwiches & croissants in LA come out of this little Italian deli in the middle of Pacific Palisades. The owners are cool, but It's about the food baby. Fist the deli case, lot of different salads of course, but also the freshest Barada, chicken parm, grilled chicken breast which I'm not sure what Chef Gianba does but I've never tasted chicken with flavor like that, amazing. Okay for croissants he's got savory, pancetta and tomato for sweet. He's got almond plain chocolate sugar. They're all flaky, crisp and delicious for the sandwiches, which simply delicious there's a chicken and eggplant crazy good turkey, I t's a sleeper choice but so good, pastrami, roast beef and a Capri with all hold up on their own. You can also get gelato and grab a coffee and talk to the owners. it's a good time, check it out. You won't be disappointed and you won't walk out hungry. read more

An extension of Cinque Terre West Osteria, DELIzioso Cinque is an awesome place to grab some great food in the morning or afternoon! I love their meatball sandwiches, but all of them are delicious! They also have Pizza by the Slice, with really good serving sizes. In conjunction with these amazing foods, they also have Cornetti (croissants) in the morning which are to die for. I haven't tried everything yet, but I love the food that Chef Gianba makes! I am looking forward to trying their gelato! The service is very nice, and everyone is always very friendly. I also feel the deli itself has a nice layout, but I think more tables should be introduced in the future. I love this place, and I hope everyone in the Palisades will try it! read more

OMG. Croissants are amazing here, as are the sandwiches and pizzas. I've tried their margherita pizza, caprese panini, and roasted turkey panini and everything was delicious! Great restaurant, when you want quicker or more casual lunch than eating at the main restaurant, Cinque Terre (which is also great). Sandwiches are really good (i seem to have the roast beef every time and its great, but I've had the turkey sandwich, and it was great too. Take out for the chicken Milanese is also very good, had that a few times. I'm trying to resist the ice cream, only for weigh reasons, but i hear that is great and pizza looks good too. But the creme de la creme has to be the croissants for breakfast. The chocolate one particularly. Gianba is a master of those. Go early, they run out quickly, since there is huge demand for them. Marlo is frequently working the deli and she is a delight. Always welcoming, greats the customers by name and honestly mothers me a little bit, by making sure I have enough sauce on my chicken Milanese, insisting on taking it to the back to put the sauce on it. Absolutely delicious croissants however beware of the $2.00 added charge for oat milk in any coffee drinks! I would have gladly paid more for their incredible food but charging an additional $2.00 for a store bought milk added to my coffee is just ridiculous.
