This donut spot has to have theeee most convenient drive thru that has ever existed. My car drives itself into the small loop on the way to work so that I can get a white chocolate mocha . I've been here more than ten times and never actually stepped foot inside. I can get through the drive thru and back onto Eldridge in a minute or two. My favorite thing to get is the white chocolate mocha and a coconut donut. Very sweet, I know but. It's often the pick me up I need before my morning meetings. I see the same girl working there quite often and she is so friendly and patient as I muster over all the drinks & pastries they offer ... and then order the same thing time after time. read more

A great little family run donut shop! Call me Debit Card Boy as I don't often carry cash. So, when I had to drive several miles to find a donut and kolache shop that takes Plastique, I was ecstatic. Delicious Donut is a small, hidden little shop at Bellaire and Eldridge. Not a lot of variety of donuts & kolaches, but what they have is solid. The standout for me is their Ranchero Kolache. Super tasty, but often gets sold out. Service is great here where Dad is the donut maker, daughters run the counter and mom cooks the special orders. So despite selling out of Rancheros, I gladly accept their offer of a specially prepared Ranchero Croissant. My kids love coming here: Sporty Spice gets the Bacon & Egg Croissant. Posh Spice goes for a pink glazed donut & donut holes. And, Baby Spice goes for the Ranchero like Dad. It's a super clean and well managed shop. And, if you happen to be in the neighborhood (West of the International District), I wholeheartedly recommend it to you! My Tip for You: Ahem. Get the Chicken Ranchero! I was on the way to class and I decided to stop by here to grab a donut or so wasn't sure what I wanted yet. Then I saw the glorious bacon wrapped kolache with beef sausage and cheese and jalapeños... Yum! Grabbed the one without bacon too! Fell in love with it, later on during the week I came Back and they only had two left so I grabbed those, 8 of the ones without bacon and placed an order for a dozen of the bacon wrapped ones! Came here on a whim craving for some donuts and kolaches. I was in area and found this place on yelp. It is tucked away in a corner so it was a bit hard to find. Anyway, walked inside to take a look at their menu. Definitely feels like a Shipley's except much more homey type feel with the decor and random plants in the shop. The guy at the cashier took our order (I was there with a patient of mine). She ordered the jalapeno sausage and cheese kolache and a small cup of coffee. I ordered two sausage and cheese kolaches and one bag of donut holes. Donut holes taste the same as any other donut place that I have been to but the kolaches were darn good! It was warm and fresh and the breading wasn't too much like Shipley's. Not to mention the guy at the front was friendly and even offered to refill the coffee for my patient. He checked on us as we were finishing eating and invited for us to come back. Great! I plan to if I am around this area craving for some kolaches. read more

Cute small family owned business located on Bellaire. The inside is decorated with family pictures and coffee and doughnut decor. Very friendly family who will greet you (they also speak Spanish) Breakfast tacos are only $1.50. They also serve kolaches and croissants which the chipotle chicken with mozzarella cheese and add jalepeno is delicious! They make fresh batches of doughnuts every morning and coffee to order. I've become something of a weekend regular to this place! I've tried most of their menu now and there's a lot of great options to offer! The bacon wrapped kolaches are perfectly balanced and not too savory or greasy. Ask for a breakfast taco with their chipotle chicken and mozzarella! All of their sweets are perfectly sweet as well. Note: The owners of this place are different from 2009. Comment: Awesome kolaches. Get the chicken and white cheese (not sure what type of white cheese but does it really matter if its insanely good?). They also have Ranchero and it tastes a lot better than Kolache Factory. The only problem with this place is they don't have a huge variety of kolaches like Kolache Factory but what they do have is pretty good. Donuts are slightly crisp on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside. Definitely worth a try again for all those disgruntled customers before they had a change of ownership! I had a chance to stop by this place after getting my regular haircut from a nearby place (if you're wondering what it is, it's the New Estilo Hair Salon). In the past I would drive by this place, but never stopped. So feeling a little hungry after my haircut (what a dilemma right?), I decided to check out the Yelp reviews first. 4 stars? Pretty good. Gotta give the place a shot! I walked in and I either looked confused or the owner is super perceptive that I was new, because he came out and asked if I needed any help. I told him that it's my first time here and that I would drive by, but never tried their food. He gave me a quick overview of some of their menu items and options for drinks. I had a potato and egg breakfast taco as well as a sausage and egg breakfast taco. They were freshly warm when they arrived and oh so delicious! The green salsa (which I had on the side) was great too. When I was done, the owner asked for my feedback on the food which I mentioned was positive. I'm kicking myself in the butt for not stopping by this place earlier. Definitely planning on returning to try out their kolaches. Recommend others to give it a shot too. You won't be disappointed. Note: the drive-thru area does look a bit small/cramped, but that wasn't a concern for me since I stopped inside the place. read more

Eh... It's the same 'ol same 'ol Little weenie in a big bun... This place JUST opened up and I was hoping to find a decent breakfast place on this side of town. I walk in to two ladies that speak more spanish then english and a selection that is VERY limited. I love kolaches and glazed cake donuts, so I order one of each and leave a little excited. Taking a bite of the kolache first I immediately become discouraged. Not only is it not hot enough, but I had to go searching for the tiny piece of meat! There was all this bun and one tiny weenie in their. I did not appreciate that at all and I felt as if I got tricked. So after finishing this piece of bread I turned to the wonderful looking glazed cake donut and hoped that it would turn my frown upside down.... That did not happen, I loudly muttered to myself "darn it" as I ate a very buttery cake donut. It was hardly warm, and it flat out did not taste right at all. I was very disappointed and hope this place makes some serious changes if they want to keep business going... They reason why I gave this place 2 stars is because they have hot fresh tamales next to the register. I thought that was funny and it felt completely out of place in a donut shop, but I now wish I would have tried one, because I am sure it would have been good. read more

My husband and I were visiting the area and my mom sent us out for breakfast to "the donut place at Bellaire and Eldridge." We didn't know what to expect, but the staff was extremely friendly and walked us through their kolache and breakfast taco menu (it's pretty expansive). They also have a plethora of donuts to choose from. We ended up with two sausage and cheese kolaches, an egg, bacon, and cheese breakfast taco, a filled donut, and an apple fritter for less than $8. I only tried the sausage and cheese kolache and while it wasn't the best I'd ever had it was good (and cheap!).
