My husband and I are off to a celebration with friends in Miami and I decided lashes was a better investment than a new outfit. I called every lash extension facility in Plano to compare prices, work experience of technicians AND availability. I decided to take my search into north Dallas, I am sure glad I did. Olivia's 6 plus years of experience AND very low (1/2 of one facility's price) cost, checked two of my boxes. Luck would have it, she had a last minute cancelation and could get me right in (don't count on this - she prefers a week's notice). The result is EXACTLY what I wanted: natural, believable yet gorgeous! She truly customized the lashes to my eyes - seems to get shorter closer to my nose and longer outside - which enhances my almond shaped eyes - I could NOT be more thrilled. The price was less than the range she had quoted on the phone AND a full set took 1 1/2 hours - about half the time quoted by a couple of larger faciities' quotes. AND although her office is in Dallas, it was 5 minutes from my house (Old Shepards Place) and the other locations were 10 minutes! Finally, the way Olivia applies the lashes seems different than my other very experienced stylist which enhanced my comfort. She also alternated different drying mechanisms, which also helped with my comfort! Do not be confused (as I was); Olivia shares space with a physical therapy company - but the staff is VERY polite and Olivia's area is cute with a great little antique and lots of candles! What a bizarre experience…read more.. I purchased a Groupon for fibroblast, and texted the number on the listing to schedule an appointment. The owner told me she now works out of her apartment...umm, ok, little sketch, but I figured maybe it was a post-COVID thing. I had the appointment set for nearly a week, and the owner texted me 2 hours before our scheduled appointment to cancel and reschedule for later in the day. I work 70 hours a week and can't just up and change my schedule last second, so I told her just to refund me. She then said I'd have to contact Groupon to be refunded...annoying, but whatever. While I'm chatting with Groupon for over 20 minutes, I get a text from the owner telling me her personal issues about her dentist appointment and how they were running late and she can't just up and leave for our appointment. What??? WHY do business owners do this? I am your client. I don't want to hear about your personal problems or poor planning that has now disrupted our set appointment. I would never do this to my client. I get my personal business PERSONAL. Funny, if the roles were reversed, she's try to change me a fee for canceling last minute on her, but it's OK that she does it to her client. I honestly feel like I dodged a bullet. The bait and switch on the address was red flag #1. I should have canceled then. The last minute cancellation was red flag #2 and a terrible frost impression. The odd texts that followed were nutty. I use Groupon to weed out the bad from good before using them a lot in the future. So glad this one didn't work out. Beware.

I have dark hair, pale skin and hair that grows like a weed. Kim is always able to tame my brows and get them in check. My hair grows so fast that I need a trim to by brows almost weekly and Kim doesn't mind trimming them between appointments. Kim's salon is so clean and sterile and I'm never worried about anything. She is extremely passionate about brows and you don't usually find someone like that. She will calm your fears and put you at ease. The way she does the waxing it doesn't even hurt.
