This was no problem for us despite the large amount because we strongly believe in paying for good care. While on the phone the office manager Carol began laughing at my disabled children being sick and barred us from the practice we've been going to for YEARS. This is in the midst of my daughter is having a dental emergency. Why were we barred? We were 15 minutes late due to our disbaled children having a virus, us visitng a Doctor first, and trying to reschedule to ensure the safety of everyone else. Carol's behavior on the phone was nothing short of disturbing and disgusting and I will be filing a complaint with multiple agencies as a result. Edited to add: Carol was laughing about this over the phone before attempting to tell us what she *believes* Dr. Sophie would say. And finally, the crown Dr. Sophie installed failed by cracking in half while my daughter ate a slim jim. This is the only cause of the dental emergency; failed dental work.

Both of my boys are on the Autism Spectrum. Dentist visits always ends in everyone crying-especially me. So today we saw Dr. Ben and it was a miracle. He was so kind and calm and patient with the boys. No one cried! The boys asked when they can go back. However, Little Smiles made us come in for another consultation instead of looking at the X-rays that were sent and looking at his medical record that they already had since he had been there within the year, just to say we can't sedate him in the office because he has a seizure disorder. I completely understand that, but why delay care by asking us to bring him in for another consult and wait weeks to get them at consult? We then were told the soonest he could get it done would be 3 months out. The doctor and staff said, "I'm not too concerned that we will be in pain or develop an abscess by then". When we asked for a referral to someone else in the area because our son can't tell us when he's in pain, they said they don't know of anyone else in Ohio. Honestly, I don't recommend this practice for anyone. i don't feel they understand childrens needs at all, especially not one with special needs. Additionally, if you can't get your teeth cleaned every 6 months because you have too many patients than why are you accepting more patients than what you can handle? Can you imagine having a cavity for 4 months? The amount of pain or tooth damage it could cause? It's a way for him to get more money out of you. Find any other practice, but don't go here.

We walked into the most beautiful office, clean, inviting, and child centered. They have the cutest trees house in the waiting area. The front desk staff were courteous, since I had taken care of the paperwork beforehand there was no wait time for processing. We were taken to back by Molly, the dental hygienist and she was so wonderful with my 4 year old. She walked her through each step of the process, no surprises. After her cleaning we met Dr. Joel, he came in blasting bubbles which was super fun! He did his assessment of girlies teeth and we talked about good oral hygiene and methods to keep cavities away. Overall, such a great experience both for me and my kiddo. We both are looking forward to her next visit!
