We brought our dog after double checking it was okay and then we showed up to an almost empty winery and we're told we had to sit in the rain, not the covered patio, and we're not allowed to do a tasting. We could only have wine by the glass. It was extremely disappointing and the place was empty. The server also seemed terrified of the management and was shaking. Will not go back. read more

I finally had a chance this afternoon to visit Delaplane Cellars - it's a pretty easy drive to get there given I live in Haymarket - about 20 minutes. The place was hopping on a late Sunday afternoon! The tasting room has a nice view of the valley that it sits in - facing westward. Six wines were available for tasting the day I visited: - 2011 Maggie's Viognier - 2011 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay - 2011 Cabernet Franc - 2010 Williams Gap Reserve - 2010 Tannat - 2011 Late Harvest Petit Manseng While I enjoying tasting all of their wines - and felt that most were nice - the wine that really jumped out at me was the Williams Gap Reserve - a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. It was a wonderful wine - with a plush mouth feel and resplendent in flavors of blackberry, black cherries, plums, and dark chocolate! The wine would be fantastic to share with that special someone or group of friends that enjoys a really nice red wine - and it would go well with all sorts of steaks! Wouldn't you know it - this wine is by far the most expensive wine they sell - $49 a bottle! But I had to buy a bottle to deposit in my wine rack. It really needs to wait for a special occasion to be opened! The Tannat and Cabernet Franc were also nice reds and would lend themselves to sitting for a period in the wine rack. Both are eminently drinkable now - but would get even better over time. Finally, while I am not a sweet wine fan - we finished with the Petit Manseng - which is always very sweet. But I do enjoy experiencing it! I think this would go well served in a champagne flute with a bowl of vanilla ice cream or a vanilla cake! The folks I interacted with were very friendly and personable. I asked a lot of questions and they answered all of them. The tasting was $7.00. Delaplane Cellars also has a Case Club - if you join and buy a case of wine (12 bottles) within a calendar year, you get access to the upstairs lounge area. I was pleased to see that Delaplane Cellars does not permit tour buses, limousines full of people, or groups larger than six - it really helps maintain a calmer more serene ambiance! The fruit flies were out in force today in the tasting room - but that is par for the course for a winery. I'd prefer to see them than someone spraying chemicals around the winery! I confess to being biased as I visited this winery often in 2015 when I lived in northern Virginia. I have noticed a change that, in my opinion, is not for the better. We were informed that there is new management. Hence, that might be the reason for a different focus and atmosphere. The music in the tasting room appeared to be geared more toward a younger crowd. However, we were there on a Tuesday morning around 11 am. Secondly, the server seemed unaware of wine sampling protocols as we were not told anything helpful about the wines other than, for example, one was from stainless steel tanks, another was barrel aged, etc. There was no mention of what the taste might conjure up, such as "hints of pear" and the like. We were served the Virginia Sampler, and, much to my dismay, all the cheeses were hard cheeses (see photo), very unlike the sampler I used to enjoy in 2015 (photo below with soft cheeses labeled 2015). There was enough cheese offered that it could have fed four people. There were only two of us. On the positive side, the views remain unequaled (photos below). Unlike some of the wineries in the area, there is peace and quiet and no hint of Route 66 traffic. To sum up our experience: Views and wine = 5 stars. I've visited several times before but this rating is for my latest visit. Their wine-making style trends towards bolder reds (when they aren't sold out!) which I definitely go for, even if they are pricy. But the way the visitors were dressed, money didn't seem to be a deterrent. I felt underdressed in my flip-flops, but otherwise really enjoyed the trip. This place is definitely gives a more 'adult' centric experience than many other VA wineries. My tasting was $8 for 6 wines, which is pretty reasonable. They have 10 acres of vines on the property and get another 10 acres worth from elsewhere. And they have Tannat...for now at least. Sadly their Tannat vines aren't doing well in the up-and-down weather, so you had better enjoy them while I can. Wine: 4 stars...although I may bump that up to 5 stars in the future. My biggest complaint is the rate at which the good stuff disappears (or maybe goes to club members?). I think they have even more stellar wines behind the counter - I've heard rave reviews about the Williams Gap Bordeaux blend - but either it was sold out or is rather expensive. Facilities: Another tough call. The building is modern and spacious, and the excellent patio and huge windows which gave an amazing view. It certainly didn't scream 'casual' like Barrel Oak or 'rustic' like smaller mom-and-pop wineries that I'm accustomed too, but that's not a bad thing either. Service: I guess 4 stars...even if the stingy part of me is tempted to bump them down a small notch because no matter how much I (almost) begged, I couldn't get a sample of anything that wasn't already on the tasting menu (although they did generously let me re-taste two). But I did like the music and on a previous visit they had someone selling food outside. And kudos to my server for changing out my glass between the red and white pours; while they admitted they don't often have enough glasses on hand to do a change-out for everyone, little attention to detail things like that aren't something I see all the time. I want to recommend the Cab Franc and Tannat which I previously tasted...except they are both gone. They DO have the Williams Gap by the bottle but it's beyond what I want to pay. Luckily the 2013 Cinq4 was pretty good. The best on the tasting was the $42 Melange Rouge Bordeaux style...but again, price point! The only one I didn't care for was the Petit Verdot. And the biggest surprise was the red Zinfandel, which is only the 2nd Zin that I'm aware of in VA. I wasn't a big fan but the vanilla palate made it interesting. The whites were decent, although I carry my standard caveat that I'm not a big white drinker. The 2014 Melange Blanc tasted heavy somehow; I wasn't sure how else to describe it. And the 2014 Petit Manseng was (as advertised) a total fruit bomb, if that's what you like. I'll go again, but I think I'll fit in better with a colarred shirt. read more

Beautifully pristine landscaped grounds, modern aesthetic tasting room and friendly service. We arrived at 11:15am on a weekday. We were the only patrons there. I am more of a Reds fan and my husband is more of a whites... Our compromise was the Cab Franc, more in the light side for me but at least one we can share. I was impressed with the 7.00 tasting fee. Great value! I also do like the fact there is no fees to join their wine club. Out of all the programs we have heard in the area, it was the best value with nice perks. We wanted to hear the other winery options first. I must say we have chosen to join this one. They clearly emphasis the fact they will not accept groups larger than 6, no limos, and buses. I visited Delaplane Cellars for the first time last weekend. The winery changed ownership recently and they are working on improving the overall experience for their guests. It really showed. I was truly impressed with the quality of their wines as well as exceptionally high level of service. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting room is large and very elegant with a long bar area so even on a busy day you won't feel crowded. The tasting flight is only $12 for 6 wines. They pour generously so it's good value for money and have options to please every palate. There's plenty of spots to sit both inside and outside to enjoy a glass (or bottle) of your favorite vintage. On the white side, I was really impressed by the 2017 petit manseng, a dry wine but tricks the tongue into thinking it's sweet, and 2017 barrel fermented chardonnary, which was very unlike the over-oaked, buttery California style chard and really let the characteristics of the grapes come through. On the red side, the 2016 left bank estate was very strong and would be enhanced by a bit of cellar aging (worth it!) and the 2017 rusticity which was a lovely blend of petit verdot, merlot and cab franc. Both reds would pare nicely with a meaty dish. They also serve mulled wine which is perfect for those chilly winter days. The Vinter's Club Membership has a lot of perks including four complimentary wine tastings per visit for club members (most wineries offer two) and a 15% discount on all bottle purchases, merchandise, and food. Their menu of light bites is varied and delicious. Many VA wineries don't serve much other than cheese and crackers so it was nice to see a thoughtful menu that complements the wines nicely. I've driven pass this winery a couple times going to Charlestown, WV. It really had a phenomenal view just off the road and I knew I had to make it up to this winery one of these days. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon when I came here. The road leading up to the main building gives you a view of the vineyard to your right. The main entrance is actually around the back, which is also where the main parking lot is. It's very small so if there are no spots available, they usually have you park somewhere on the hill leading up to the building. My first impression when I walked inside was, "Wow!This place is busy!" Another first impression was the incredible view! I think the view alone just gives this place its true amazing feeling. How can you not enjoy your time here while looking out to the mountains? We were able to get a space at the bar and we tried the $12 wine tasting. The price wasn't too bad, but I definitely went to tastings that were slightly cheaper. The good news though is that they poured a decent amount of portions. Eileen assisted us through our tasting and she was very knowledgable of each wine and her descriptions were helpful. If you're interested in ordering nibbles during your tasting, or even while your sipping on wine, they do have small choices of platters (or you can order individual items). The food menu is pricey so if you're really hungry, don't expect to be full with these platters. As much as the vineyard was beautiful and the tasting room was great, the wines weren't really my favorite. I usually like my wines somewhat sweet, and the wines they had were very bold, crisp, and dry. If these are your type of wines, then you'll definitely love this place! My only concern was that there were a lot of these beetle looking bugs all over the place. Maybe the scent of the wine attracts them, but they were on the windows and on the ceiling. Kind of freaked me out a bit. Although the wines didn't appeal to me, I still think that people should check this place out. The only way you know if you like the wine is if you try it out yourself. The view is beautiful and they even have live music! If it's not too hot outside, the patio area would be a great place to have a glass, or even a bottle, and relax. The tasting room isn't very big, so if you come with a very large party 6 or 8+, it may be hard to accommodate everybody, especially if it's on a busy day. This winery had been on our radar for a while, and we finally got an opportunity to stop by on our way home from a trip to West Virginia. SO glad we did -- this is the first winery I've been to in a while where I've loved every wine I tasted. I'm normally a red wine drinker, but the rose and whites (a Viognier and a Chardonnay) were very good. The server was kind and attentive, giving us enough detail about the wine and offering suggestions for other wines on the menu. We had our tasting ($12) then settled for a bottle of Rusticity, which is a ~50/50 blend of Tannat & Petit Verdot (my personal favorite). It was delicious. They also have some small food options - cheeses/charcuterie and similar. It was a quiet day, and the views were gorgeous! We enjoyed our visit so much that we considered joining the wine club, but did learn that the winery had just come under new ownership, so decided to wait a bit to make sure quality doesn't slip. It sounds like the new owners have some ambitious goals -- let's hope the quality of the wines don't slip as a result. Edit to add: Despite some of the one-star reviews here for not allowing big groups, we appreciate that rule at this and other wineries in the area, so don't let the low overall score dissuade you from a visit. read more

Very disappointed. We went here a couple weeks ago, after hearing it was under new ownership. We have previously been wine club members in past years, but quit after receiving such cold and rude service the many times we were there. I was surprised to read that all the same staff would stay on board (one of the reasons why this winery has such few great reviews on here). The wine, as we remembered it, was very good. The wine attendant wasn't overly rude, but she wasn't exactly friendly either. We decided to get our favorite cheese sampler that we have ordered in recent years. Only we were shocked to see the previous $22 cheese plate was now $36?!!! Who pays that for a CHEESE plate?! Absolutely absurd. I looked online and saw one of our favorites Blue Valley Vineyard down the road offered a nice selection of cheeses and other snacks for a WAY more reasonable price. We decided to finish our wine on the deck and then head there after. The deck was not a pleasant experience. All of the umbrellas were folded up, and when my husband opened each one- they were completely COATED with stink bugs. It was such a sunny day, it was necessary to sit underneath one- even with us wearing sunglasses. We had to cover our wine glasses because one by one the stink bugs eventually fell onto the table. We ended up leaving right away and had a great time at a more welcoming winery down the road. The new owners have their work cut out for them.. read more

Beautiful views and beyond friendly staff! Wines aren't the best, but with that view you almost don't care. The only reason I won't be going back is their infestation of stink bugs. It's not your normal but here or there. It's hundreds of them inside and outside. I thought that maybe they were having a temporary infestation problem, but the reviews go back to over 10 years ago mentioning them. I was so uncomfortable and had to check myself and my husband for bugs on us before getting in the car. It's not a reason to not check this lake out though (I might have a bigger fear of bugs than you. I also think the further from the tasting room you sit, the better you might be). Beautiful winery with a beautiful view of the mountains. We went on Halloween, and there was a two-man band playing under an enclosed tent area, which kept the wind down. The wine tasting was pretty good with a variety of options to taste. The cheese plate and bread was plentiful and enough to satiate a group of 3, though a bit pricey. I do wish they had more food options, which is the only reason it's missing one star. Friendly service and easy to get to from DC area. This is an amazing winery! The building is beautiful, the ciew is majestic, and the service is outstanding! I had been wanting to try Delaplane for a while once I learned about it. A friend and I decided to make the drive from Richmond. We got stuck in terrible traffic, so I called to let the staff know we would be late for our reservation. I spoke with Matt, who was friendly and assured us we would still be accommodated and wished us safe travels. We arrived and ordered a flight each and a Virginia sampler, then took a seat on the balcony. The charcuterie board was l large and tasty. Jeremy, the GM, came around several times to make sure we were having a good time. He explained the items on the charcuterie, made suggestions, and answered our questions. When we were ready to go, we paid our tab and bought bottles to take home with us. This was my favorite winery to visit, and I look forward to visiting again. read more

I'm actually trying to think of a reason to not rate Delaplane 5 stars...nope, can't really think of one. Visited Delaplane Cellars with my husband yesterday for the first time and had a wonderful time. The wine was delicious, the views were amazing, and the service was friendly. My husband and I walked out of there with a case, which really says something. Arrived around 11:30am on Columbus Day on a beautiful fall day after apple and pumpkin picking in the area. When you pull into the driveway, you see a big hill (where the grapes are planted) and a lovely building at the top with a patio and terrace. Driving around, there's parking in the back. We went inside and there were around ~10-15 people there, either doing tastings or sitting outside. The building is beautiful - large, with high ceilings, white tones, and a 2nd floor that looks like it has a loft area (I didn't go up there) It was very light, modern, clean, with big expansive windows. We were greeted right away by a person who was pouring a tasting for others and let us know she'd be right with us. My husband and I split a tasting (their pours are generous, and we can try more wine without getting tanked). They actually offer two tastings - one with 6 wines for $8 and one with 4 wines for $12 (I think - approximate prices). The one with the 6 wines is a more general three whites three reds tasting, where the other one is more of a 'reserve' (although they don't call it that) tasting with their more premium wines. Since we were splitting, we decided to do both. Out of the 10 wines we tried, we actually didn't dislike anything. I call it "varying degrees of like and love." It was actually hard narrowing down the wine we wanted - and it became clear a case would be necessary when the first 6 bottle 'plans' went quickly. Our case (and favorites) consisted of the Viognier, the Melange Blanc (a really unique and food-friendly white, it's almost savory - not what I was expecting at all), the Melange Rouge, the Piedmont Station, and the Williams Gap. Disappointed that they sold out of the single-varietal Cabernet Franc but hopefully will try it on a return visit. Reds are all Bordeaux-style blends, with all grapes coming from VA - some grown on their estate, others from around the state. The wine isn't cheap, especially some of their higher-end blends like the Williams Gap, but I thought the price was worth it based on the taste and quality of the wine. We decided to get glasses (Piedmont Station for me, Williams Gap for him) and sit outside on the terrace - they have both tables on a larger terrace with umbrellas (great for pale redheads like me who try to stay out of the sun) and also smaller two-person tables without umbrellas. We were originally going to leave after getting one glass and go get lunch, but were having such a good time that we decided to get another and one of their cheese plates as well, which was served with a spread, three cheeses, grapes, salami, some crackers, and a wonderfully warm giant loaf of fresh bread. Oh, and while we didn't join the wine club, our purchase of a case entitles us to their 'case club' for one year, where you get some benefits, which I think is nice (and a 15% discount on cases is pretty generous). I know others have heartburn with their policies (no children, big groups, nor limos), but I personally appreciate them. They are stated on their website, and are up front about it, and there's also a sign before you enter, so hopefully people are able to do their homework before going there. For me, it was nice going to a winery that was quiet, and if I'm being honest, when I saw on Yelp the no children policy and verified it on the website and told my husband, he said without hesitation "yup, that's where we are going." The service we received was friendly (I guess they are just trained to really enforce the winery's policies regarding others who have had bad experiences). I know this is a personal opinion, and everyone is entitled to theirs, but if you're looking to relax with your SO or small group, enjoy some great scenery, and drink some delicious wine, this is your place. read more

So after our first visit in June my friend and I went back for a second visit in September since we enjoyed it so much. The tasting menu wan completely different except for a few reds. The Sauvignon Blanc I loved was sold out and the new whites they had were nowhere near as good, we really didn't like any of them. We asked about when they changed the tasting menu and we were told it changed several times in the 3 month between visits. I guess it's good to change things up but it was disappointing that none of the wines we liked were available. Hopefully it was just a some of the 2018 wines that weren't great, we'll try again next year when they bring out the 2019 vintages. read more

Five stars for the view and the property. DC has an gorgeous tasting room bordering on minimalistic with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows revealing a spectacular view. They have a lovely side patio which shares the same great view. There was a jazz duo playing which was a nice touch. However, I can only give 2 stars for the wine tasting. There were only 4 wines available to taste for $5 which was disappointing. Members of the wine club taste for free, and they can head up to the reserved loft (and I think there's a rooftop space for members too). I see a lot of reviewers mention other wines that were included with their tastings, but sadly these wines must not have been available when we visited (6/16/12). Three stars for the actual wine. None were amazing--I'd say they were solidly average. The 2011 Melange Blanc was the best. Easy to drink with hints of citrus and pineapple and enjoyable on a warm summer afternoon. I wasn't a big fan of the Chardonnay. One bonus about DC: They do not allow groups of more than 6 and absolutely no tour buses. This is a place where you can truly relax without having to endure a mob scene like at Crysallis or BOW. I'm guessing this is one of the most peaceful and pretty wineries you can visit. I'd definitely come back here for this reason alone, but I hope they add more wines to their tasting. read more

Let me just preface this by saying we are regulars on the Fauquier and Loudoun wine trails and we've been tasting VA wines since 2005. I was absolutely stunned at how complex their wines were. Williams Gap was phenomenal to the point where I joined their club... which is a rarity. Actually this is now the only wine club I belong to in VA (the others are out in Napa and Sonoma). I enjoyed their Cinq very much and the Viognier was good. Rarely do you find a winery in VA where their reds are better than their whites but this place in an exception. The other one that comes to mind off the top of my head is Rosemont in the southern part of the state. The view is gorgeous and admittedly, I didn't partake in any of their food options but it all looked appetizing and I plan on going back once the temperature goes up a bit. Have always enjoyed Delaplane before or after dinner or lunch at The Ashby Inn. It's a great place. But the vibe has shifted. So depending on what you are looking for ... it's a could be the place to go. Outside under the tent on the weekends is louder and more a bar vibe with some larger groups (8+) and music that people sing along with. More difficult to have a conversation when guests are singing to Sweet Caroline. Inside is more the true vineyard vibe of conversation over a nice bottle and charcuterie. Ask for the right location with your reservation and you will enjoy your time. read more

Breathtaking beauty greets you as you walk in a back door into a large, quiet tasting room decorated with artwork from local artists. A large doorway in the front leads to a balcony of bistro tables that look out onto green rolling hills and the vineyard. Birds of prey can be seen high in the sky as well. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, the food is good (the warm bread is delightful), and the wine is excellent. It's a bit pricey, but the experience was a good value in my opinion. I really like this winery, the view is spectacular, the owners often pour and mingle (I LOVE that), the food pairings they offer are tasty, they have live music and local cheese/meats vendors and they even have a pizza vendor on weekends. Oh yeah, and the wine is spectacular. If you want good VA wine and are in the area you will not be sorry you stopped in. The only thing I don't like about Delaplane is the 6 people group limit. That's 3 couples. I get the no limos policy, and I do like the idea of not having huge groups, but it makes me wonder what would happen if I went there on a double date and happened to see friends on a double date? Could we sit with them? Would we annoy other people? VA wine country is pretty small, so that is definitely a possibility... IDK, maybe I am over thinking it. read more

No matter how busy they get, they always find a way to greet you and ensure that they can fit you in at the tasting bar or give an idea what the wait might be. Among the best views you can get from the tasting room. I like their white wines. Crisp and dry. In other words not heavy on buttery oak or residual sugars. Their red wines are a mixed bag. Some of them are a bit tannic yet not that hardy in flavor complexity. The cinqo blend is pretty good. Prices are a bit high for the quality. They have food but we have not tried it yet. Parking is somewhat limited so this is a no go for large groups. Bus/limo is out of the question. Nice outdoor seating on the deck. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the region. read more

A group of friends and I decided to celebrate our second COVID vaccine shot by taking the day off and grabbing lunch at a winery. Delaplane Cellars did not disappoint! Gorgeous views (will only get more stunning as all the trees get fully green!), just a few other people there for weekday lunch, incredible and kind staff, and truly delicious wines. Probably the best Virginia wines I've ever had, both white and red. My favorites were the whites -- not too sweet. The meat and cheese platter also had olives, warm bread, fresh fruit, olive oil, and chutney. Lots of local products and local knowledge from the staff. I can't bring myself down to give this place a one star, because I didn't taste the wines. Our group of 8 was asked to leave on arrival due to an anti-American policy. If you're with five people that you know and another person that you know walks in, then everyone you know most leave. We tried to spend ~$20 x 8 + 3 bottles to go at this place and we were rejected. Kicked out on arrival. Do me a favor. Let this place rot. They are not worth your hard earned dollars with many great wineries next door. Sad! read more

We have tried white wines and enjoyed them. The food that served is also good. Since, we are vegetarian, I informed the server that we couldn't eat meat; she suggested cheese. We ordered two cheeses and bread, the bill was $24; only to realize that charcuterie plate was just $10. Is it too much to expect the server to give you correct recommendations? One of the best locations to watch the sunset while enjoying a glass of VA wine.

Pros: Great area, beautiful scenery and winery area, atmosphere and tasting room view Cons: Bad Service, Rude Staff, Lack of Wines, Sub-Par wines While on my Virginia winery and Delaplane area tour, I couldn't tour Delaplane without going to Delaplane Cellars. Sadly they did not deliver and I was disappointed with the experience. The area is very pretty and the winery and tasting room are a great view as you pull into the entrance. The building sits atop a hill surrounded by the vineyard, a beautiful view and setting. The winery was busy, parking at the top was full, which built my hopes for things to come. I parked and entered the winery to a gorgeous tasting area, set up like a sun room with many windows open facing the winery and Delaplane country side. I walked over to the tasting area and had little welcome or greeting from the two servers. I was finally acknowledged and asked what I would like. I asked to do the tasting and was handed a piece of paper with 3 wines on the list, which was disappointing after reviewing the web site and many wines listed. The lady, who's name was never mentioned was less than enthusiastic about the wines, or the tasting as she balanced an older couple also tasting. She explained very little about the wines and short responses to questions. My opinion, the wines were sub-par with potential and I feel other wines would possibly meet my personal expectations. I decided not to ask about a tour, which I feel would be a great option if available. I decided to finish the tasting and enjoy the one thing that this winery is good at, the view and atmosphere. The atmosphere is relaxing, with tables lining the area with windows facing the scenery. Many of the people there seemed to be enjoying their time there. I would definitely enjoy relaxing with a good glass of wine with some great people, but I don't think it would be with their wine and service. Overall, this winery is a good place to check off the list but that's about it. I'm disappointed in the lack of welcome, service, and staff. The atmosphere doesn't make up for the wine and service but is pleasing to those who decide to stay and make the most of the experience. I would definitely return if able to taste the other wines or bring my own. I may return at a later date to hopefully taste more wines on a servers good day... I would not recommend this winery at this point. read more

Jeremy is an absolute GEM. Went above and beyond to make sure me and my family were taken care of and that our glasses were never empty. Fantastic recommendations with a personal touch and even offered to take a family photo with the sunset. The views are also fantastic and the wines are quite solid as well. A must stop if you're in the area, limos and busses are not allowed to keep a nice enjoyable environment. read more

This winery is not children friendly. We stopped in with our baby after time at Sky Meadows and were turned away and told to go to the far lawn seats with no table service. People with dogs and babies are exiled. They should make note of this on their mobile site, as we would have stopped in at a different location had we known. Three stars for the Virginia sampler platter, the views from the lawn, and wine quality. read more

Absolutely loved it! Not sure why there is a low yelp rating. Some of the best views of our Virginia wine tasting tour, great live music, and the wines were delicious - the rose (best I've ever had and I'm not a rose fan!), the piedmont, and the wolf's gap were our favorites. We are strongly considering joining the wine club we liked it so much. Generous pours in the $12 tasting and they'll even pour you more if you ask for more of a given wine! It's the kind of place where members will take the time to tell you about it (like our neighbors at our tasting) because they love it so much! read more

I cannot rave enough about this place! Great wine and super friendly staff. It was nice to visit a winery without having to deal with children running around (why WHY do people bring kids to wineries?)! Also, the staff was super generous with letting us sample other wines on the menu that weren't a part of the tasting. That was much appreciated. I can't wait to come back! read more
