It's not as good as the exclusive Coke blend at McDonald's, but was a close second. I have had some pretty watered down Cokes at other places in recent years. The Service: There were two young gentlemen working the last time I visited, and they were both friendly and knowledgeable. They even brought our meals to our table, which was a nice touch for a fast food establishment. The Setting: It's located inside the recently revamped Yorba Linda Downtown, which has revitalized the area and made it a pleasant place to hang out. Unfortunately, on weekends, it's hard to find parking sometimes. Fortunately we came on a weekday and got parking nearby. Inside, Apola is clean and tidy with roughly enough tables and chairs for a variety of party sizes. The Conclusion: Apola offers good Mediterranean-inspired food for a reasonable price (compared to other restaurants these days) -- just don't expect it to be 100% authentic Greek food. It's not perfect and not super cheap, but with the right expectations set, I plan to return on semi-regular basis.

When I pulled up to the first window he greeted me with "Hi, how are you?" and I started replying "I'm good, how are you..." but before I could even finish he cut me off and immediately started repeating my order. It instantly felt dismissive. Then when he was confirming the order he said something that really caught me off guard. Instead of clearly listing everything out he said something like "You got two Double Doubles extra lettuce extra tomato and a whole bunch of other things." A whole bunch of other things? That's not how you confirm someone's order, especially when there are specific modifications. I'm not ordering random stuff. I came here for specific things and I want to make sure I'm paying for exactly what I ordered. At that point my whole energy shifted and I just wanted to pay and leave. But the employee at the second window completely changed the tone. She greeted me, asked how I was doing, and when I asked how she was she actually answered and waited like a normal interaction. We were engaged with each other enough in the moment that I didn't try to see what was the cause of the delay, but the delay did ultimately inconvenience us later on that night.
