I tried the quesabirria today, and I've had better, more tender, elsewhere, but I'll cut them slack since it's new to their menu Lol- and it was still very good. The martin's lunch- I think that's what it was called- was lowk buss as hell, especially with the green sauce. Go to casa guys. It's just like what you gotta do.

The sauce you can dip the tacos in was definitely a highlight. Overall I was disappointed with the ground beef meat. I thought it lacked flavor and was very mushy. The shell was normal, I think they add a lot of toppings to try and counter their meat flavor. The people who took our order were friendly and quick. The drinks were very good, cold, and refreshing. Overall it doesn't seem authentic at all but I don't think it claims to be either. It's much more of a fast food, american version of a real taco place. Which can have its pros and cons.

If you have never had a jumbo taco try the King Taco which is as big as a dinner platter and will even come smothered with queso or chili con carne for eating with a fork. They also have a nice selection of house made margaritas. Try the jalapeño margarita, its spicy but not overly hot and it is not made everywhere. The staff is very friendly with a family feel in the dining area. The front entrance has a variety of authentic Mexican goods including sandals, hats and even real vanilla from Mexico. If ever driving through Newton this hidden jem is worth a stop!

Pros: The space is very large, well kept and clean. You can tell they take pride in the restaurant and take great care of it. Lunch specials offered are reasonable with some flexible choices. Really good chips and salsa, thick, warm chips and good flavor & texture on the salsa. Cons: the first bite of my shrimp quesadilla was super salty and there wasn't lot of cheese and the cheese I did get tasted like a melted American, which added to the saltiness. The sour cream helped and the shrimp was cooked perfectly.

We ordered a child's meal for my aunt, who is currently going through cancer treatment and has not been eating very much. Desiree approached us and told us, in a rude and dismissive manner, that the child's meals were only for children 10 and under. We explained our situation and why we were trying to order a smaller meal for her, but Desiree simply reiterated the restaurant's policy and told us we would have to order a regular menu item. When we asked Desiree for her name, her response was again rude and dismissive. Rather than showing any understanding of the situation, she reiterated the policy and told us that she was writing a note for her manager about the interaction. Given the way the situation was handled, this felt less like an effort to address our concerns and more like an attempt to document the situation from her perspective before we had an opportunity to speak with management ourselves. We understand that restaurants have policies, and we were not asking for the policy to be changed. However, there are ways to communicate a policy with compassion and tact, especially when a customer explains that they are dealing with a serious health situation. We were simply trying to find an appropriate amount of food for someone going through cancer treatment. Desiree's approach felt rude, insulting, and completely lacking in compassion. The food itself was excellent, and the other staff members were helpful, but this interaction significantly impacted our experience. A little kindness, understanding, and professionalism would have made a big difference.

They have all kinds of merchandise inside and plenty of hot and cold food options. The restrooms are big enough with 4 stalls and two sinks. There was a sticker on the mirror reading that all Casey's had free wifi, so that's nice to know. It was clean enough, but like several other places it could use a little sweeping inside. Just outside the restroom is a hallway leading to the showers, I didn't go back that far. Back out on the store floor, my Ross had already picked out lunch. He chose a ham and cheese half sub, he said it was good but would've been better with mayo. I quickly got a banana nut muffin, then we went to check out. The cashier asked if we had a rewards card, we told her we didn't. She said to put in our card, and the machine wasn't doing anything. My husband told her and she asked again if we had a rewards card, no, we don't. She pushed some buttons on the register and then it worked. We were the only ones checking out at the time, but something must've had her attention behind us..maybe what she was going to order for lunch, I don't know. She also wasn't wearing gloves, though she didn't touch our items, she still has to handle money and give change back.
