Yall already know this my fav restaurant in Newton. Perf place for lunch especially because they have great cheap lunch options. I tried the quesabirria today, and I've had better, more tender, elsewhere, but I'll cut them slack since it's new to their menu Lol- and it was still very good. The martin's lunch- I think that's what it was called- was lowk buss as hell, especially with the green sauce. Go to casa guys. It's just like what you gotta do. read more

Staff was not helpful. Mocked for wanting different meat on entree. Food came out was sloppy on the plates. The burrito was not rolled, just layed out. Felt rushed even though the restaurant was not busy at all. Staff very impatient. read more

The pineapple fajitas were delicious. There was way too much for one person for sure. The avocados were perfectly ripe and the steak, chicken and shrimp were cooked great. Not my favorite chips and salsa that I e ever had, but the fajitas more than made up for it. read more

I've tried and I can't think of one thing this place did well. We paid $35 for 2 combos and chips and queso. I could barely choke it down. Don't waste your money. THIS IS THE WORST MEXICAN FOOD I'VE EVER HAD!!! They have absolutely no idea what a chimichanga is!!! I'm from Texas and I know what I'm talking about. What we got were mushy, wet burritos. The meat inside seemed very low quality and tasted gross. The queso was thin as water so it dripped everywhere, but it tasted better than everything else. The rice was mushy and unseasoned, but was ok. read more

Casa Fiesta is so yummy! We stopped here because our daughter goes to Bethel college. So glad we stopped. We had the sampler enchiladas, the steak meal, and a burrito. OMG were they all good and so was their orchata!!! Highly recommend to stop here to eat. We loved it so much we had dinner one day and lunch the next day. Yum yum!! read more

Took my team out for lunch on their request. I was told ahead of time for Newton this is considered quite good. Maybe I'm just picky? Maybe it was an off day? They were quite busy for lunch so this place is definitely popular. Ambiance: standard Mexican restaurant Cleanliness: we went close to opening and everything appeared clean although it was a little gross looking over and seeing straight area where plates were passed to the servers and see the servers eating foods bare handed and not washing their hands before returning to serve. Service: very quick with food roll out but nobody was asked for a refill until the very end of the meal when we were paying. Food: the chips were stale-- no way around it. We asked for spicier salsa and what they brought out was extremely spicy however fully sacrificed flavor. Just entirely too acidic and all heat yet extremely bland. The rest of the table thought the regular salsa was bland as well. Ordered the fajitas and look, it's really hard to mess up fajitas but the meat quality I could just tell was very low. The beef was stringy and really wet. What they brought out was more steaming versus sizzling which I found odd. The flavor was okay though. Honestly one of the stronger points of the meal was the refried beans. Wouldn't change a thing on those. Very flavorful. I think if I returned I would just not order the fajitas. Everyone else seemed to enjoy what they got and at the end of the day that's all that mattered was that my team was happy. Overall 2.5. Not the worst. Far from the best. read more

A local favorite. We had party of 9 and received great, fast service. Meals served very hot. Everyone enjoyed their food choice. Lot of food for price. Chunky Salse a bit hot but good with individual servings. Only negative bit was chips served cold, why not hot? Hot chips and table linen at night would go a long ways for another star Pepsi products. read more

We stopped here for lunch after shopping for a wedding dress. All of us are out of town so first timers! I had the lunch special with the Chile relleno and beef taco with guacamole. The relleno was very good, tender with nice amount of cheese. The sauce over it was good - a hint of kick, good flavor. Rice was good too. The taco was crispy and fresh. The guac was a little disappointing, barely a spoonful and very bland. The chips and salsa is good and spicy salsa is available upon request and it is definitely spicy. Would definitely recommend! read more

The food was always good but has gone down hill the taco I got was burnt. Service is good always nice and accommodating. The only thing I think could change is turn down the music you almost have to yell to have a conversation. Might think about a new cook. El Toros has good food. Another good place on West Broadway Acapulco. Three star for now until some of the food gets better. read more

Wow everything was so fresh and delicious here! Servers were great. I'm from Wichita but stopped in for a quick bite and was so impressed! Best Mexican I've had in a long time. I will definitely make this my first stop in Newton from now on. I got the guac Mexicano (def order that) and a bowl-sized margarita, plus queso and veggie fajitas. Chips & salsa were so fresh too; yum yum 5 stars :) read more

Excellent food. Husband ate all of the fajitas which were a wonderful flavor. I had enchiladas served with a heaping serving of rice. The service was wonderful. Great local owned place for some good Mexican food. read more

Stale chips, warm beer mugs, rushed service. Most mediocre bland food I've had in a long time.

Always consistent with quality of food and service. This is one of my favorite authentic Mexican restaurants and I always look forward to coming here when I visit Newton. Also amazing strawberry margaritas!! Absolutely the best place to get Mexican food in Newton. read more

Had the Chile verde, pork seemed under cooked & fatty. Rice & beans were tasty. Service was a bit slow.

Highly recommend this place! Came here a couple months back when I visited the area for a job. Moved here and went back again. Did not disappoint. Very good food. Very authentic food. Great prices! Went on a Wednesday, where kids eat FREE--Was a great surprise for us. Will definitely be going back again soon! Get the white cheese dip--it's a little more runny than I'd prefer but still tastes incredible! read more

Amazing authentic Mexican cuisine. Highly exceeded our expectations. We would both recommend and return ourselves. Thank you.

Excellent find while in Newton. Fresh chips and salsa that are homemade not store bought. Server was attentive and food was hot and fresh. Menu was huge with lots of interesting items unlike some Mexican places read more

Oh dear! They haven't claimed their Yelp page? Someone, that has a better grasp of Spanish than I, needs to help them maximize their fantastic community presence. We went there because I NEEDED BEANS. They know how to make a delicious refried bean! My mom ordered the Chili Relleno and got two big fatties. My son ended up swiping her Perrito* Bag (*means doggie, now you know all the Spanish I know). Nuking it and it was still the best Chili Relleno I've seen. I ordered a shrimp dish and, while it was tasty, I'll keep touring the menu until I find an appropriate addiction. Their space has plenty of room to keep parties distant from one another and they also have a patio that looks like it will be fun this spring. read more

Overall a good experience. Friendly, attentive and fast service. The dining area was clean, casual and festive. I ordered a torta de carne asada for my meal which to my surprise was not on a bollio bread and was served with fries. The torta had way too much mayo on it and the tortilla chips given before my meal tasted a little old. Not sure what other Mexican places are in the area but this may be an okay spot for a quick bite. read more

Service was pretty good and the decor is above par. Tacos were average tasting with two of the three having bites of steak that were too chewy to swallow. For $10.50 I was expecting more for my money, but this is Newton KS not Mexico. read more

Started slow but food that arrived quickly made up for it. Enchilada Supreme is the standard four enchiladas with red sauce. The chicken was not over cooked and the ground beef was seasoned very well. Can't remember what the dish was but it was seasoned chicken with fresh vegetables that were cooked perfectly! Out of the way for out of town travel but worth finding. read more

We love Casa Fiesta! The fajitas Jalisco is delicious. It is full of beef,, chicken, shrimp, and all the veggies. The flavor of their beans and rice is perfect.. We always leave with food to take home for another meal. They also have excellent margaritas! read more

Staff does not acknowledged customers when they enter. Staff also ignored all the people waiting to be seated. Server's rushes to take your order and are ready to run to the next table instead fully allowing that table to order in a clam manner. read more

I'm sorry to say that this once great restaurant has gone bad. Two weeks ago we ate lunch here and the service was terrible. Giving them another chance, we returned a week later. This time the service was even worse. What was wrong? When our meal was served it was brought out only part of my meal was served, I had no flatware. The two other meals were not served. After 5 minutes I asked about the remaining food and was rudely told it was coming. After another five minutes the rest of my dinner arrived and the second persons meal came. The third meal, a child dinner, was not brought out for another five minutes. The staff either does not understand that it is proper to serve the entire table at once, or they are so unorganized that they are overwhelmed. I will not return. read more

TRASH! I have been here a half a dozen times to give them an honest effort. I'm so disgusted with the level of service here! Management is rude and obnoxious! Food isn't bad, service is preventing me from ever going back! If you want a good time, go somewhere else! I'd give 0 stars if I could! read more

Outer appearance isn't bad, you can see they are making some improvements and the inside is festive and clean. It always makes me feel good when I'm at a Mexican restaurant and Hispanics are patrons as they were here. Chips and salsa are good, and the waiter was friendly and accommodating. Meal didn't take too long to get to us, and was piping hot, looked good and tasted good. I can recommend this place highly if your in the mood for South of the border. read more

Best Mexican restaurant in Newton, by far. I'll start with the down side. Ask for an older waiter, the younger ones spend the whole night looking around instead of at you when helping your table. Not sure what they are looking for, but they never seem to find it as they keep looking. Now the good part, the food. My daughter always gets the steak and cheese sandwich. Yep, at a Mexican joint. She swears by it. Shrimp Chimichanga, smothered chicken and chili rellenos almost always are on our table. Chips and salsa never run out. Good food, good portions make for a great meal. Five stars until you consider the wait staff. read more
