I usually go to the Johns Creek location and they are amazing. However I just moved so the marietta location is closer. They never sent me an email or a text to confirm my appointment until 1 hour and 30 minutes before my appointment (which I didn't get the texts) and then when I didn't respond immediately they cancelled my appointment and instantly filled it with another client. The woman on the phone was also no help. Luckily the Roswell location is helping me so if you go to a deka lash don't make it the Marietta location. read more

I wanted to give lash extensions a try, so I came here. I got them done - they fell off in three days. I called and left explained that I followed all instructions and they were able to fit me in - they told me I was only able to get them done with the original person who did them, but she was not available. I went to get them redone and they lasted a bit better BUT now I have no natural lashes. They barely provide any information on how to take care of them and just give you a mini brush to brush them out. They don't even give an eyelash wash and expect you to pay $20 plus for the wash. never again. don't get me wrong, the woman who did my lashes the first time was super nice but I just don't think it is worth spending your money here. read more

My biggest problem is that I showed the tech a photo before she started. That's the very moment she should have said " We don't have lashes that can create that wispy and dark look".. not after I laid there for two hours. So, being as passive aggressive as I am I tipped and paid and then decided to just call because in reality I was charged for a volume set when she gave me what could pass for classics. Also, she ONLY used premade fans... but I was charged like it was the FULL luxury service... I had higher expectations especially since the price was like $150. I personally do lashes and make up. I've gotten certified twice and plan to go back because I hate not being able to give babes the mega volume their looking for. I always have to be honest with a client about my ability to achieve their desired look and I think I expected that same courtesy from Deka Lash.. The tech was sweet, but she should've IMMEDIATELY told me she didn't have the right types of lashes and I should've only been charged for a classic set. My lashes usually give me so much confidence and I feel like I don't need makeup but this set is not me.. they offered to " fix it" but how???? Because Bren already said y'all don't have those types of lashes and y'all only use pre made fans... so it's impossible for the look I asked for to be achieved, which she knew and chose not to disclose. SMH. Only people who like very LIGHT & NATURAL SETS SHOULD GO HERE. Go to Atlanta for baddie sets because this is 100% unacceptable and I'd venture to say she gave false advertising since she acted like she could give me the look I wanted. I'm typing this while I get my hair done so leave the fro alone lol And to anyone who says " they don't look bad" THATS NOT THE POINT! If I could give this Lash company a zero I would!!! They deserve NO stars! I wish I would have looked at their rating before I bought a membership with them. My experience at this Deka location (as opposed to the Chamblee location) was SO much better! To be honest, with my experience in Chamblee I honestly just wanted to use up my benefits so I could cancel and find some place else but Deidre redeemed the brand. I wont lie, the prices are in line with what I was paying much closer to home and I do have to travel a while to get there but the ability to make an appointment on the fly and not get hassled to get a whole new set as long as half the lashes are still there is totally worth it. Plus the special they are running 80 for a new set is hard to beat here in Atlanta. I saw someone elses review complaining about the lashes not being mink. Cmon folks, anyone that knows anything about lashes knows mink costs much more. Pick your battle. Back to Deidre though, I walked in 5min late and when I asked to use the restroom she didnt catch an attitude or anything. As a matter of fact she pleasantly directed me to where it was. Unlike Chamblee location, Deidre professionally wore a mask and used hand sanitizer as well as a pleasant lotion before starting her work. I also noticed, unlike Chamblee, she used the fan to help dry. She was also very meticulous with her work. In the end, I could tell a big difference in how my lashes looked. I will definitely be booking with her again. Deidre is the woman, the woman you want to book with!! The bed is the same as Chamblee but for some reason I was much more comfortable despite having several herniated discs that made my last appointment nearly unbarable to sit through. read more

Update: I actually had Covid and was very sick for almost a month. I attempted to go into the salon before my credits expired but the 3 salons I was told were still open, were all closed early. I was able to make it back in but it was 1 day after my $130+ worth of credits expired. I was texted by the owner that she couldn't help me. Comparable to Great Clips for a hair cut. If you're concerned with price stop right now and consider that for just a few dollars more you can have an absolute full time professional give you great lashes that not only look like your own but feel great too. I hadn't worn them the last year and thought I'd give DekaLash a try...immediately after I was regretful that I did. Nice customer service and the tech was very sweet but not exactly great. Furthermore I found out how much the techs get paid and it's absolutely disgusting to me that the owners of this less than great lash bar charge what they do and pay as little as they do...just not right. The techs absolutely rely on tips to make a living wage and let's face it, the majority of people don't tip accordingly especially when they are already trying to save a few bucks in the first place for a luxury service... the owners need to spend more time training their techs and at the very least double their wages. I had to pay someone to remove the huge clusters and excessive glue that was applied. Thankfully I found my new lash girl because of it. Lesson learned. read more

If I could give this place 1 star I really would. The lady who did my lashes on Thursday did a terrible terrible job. First of all, she was high and reeked of weed. She had the audacity to be breathing all up on my face with her nasty smoker's breath. When you're in the beauty business and you are going to be literally in someone's face for over an hour, it is common courtesy to either put a mask on put a mint in your mouth. It was disgusting and I struggled with breathing because I had to keep on breathing in her nasty breath. On top of that, because she was CLEARLY high on the job, my lashes FELL OFF that very same day and kept on falling off the next day and now they are all off 3 days later after I paid $150 for lashes that are supposed to last at least 2 weeks and shampoo that did not help. I am SO FRUSTRATED AND WILL BE REPORTING THIS TO CORPORATE AND EVERY OUTLET. Very bad service and so so unprofessional. I have never been so displeased in my life. Can't believe I literally had to ask someone to put a mint their mouth. Wow. Horrid experience from start to end. read more

My rating is coming solely from the amazing service I receive from a tech there named Courtney. Her speed, tact, and technique is second to none. She's a great person to talk to but also respects silence as well. I had her once and loved it, but after having her again, by chance. I was still blown away. I got 14mm, D curl, straight across without any "well...." she's able to adhere to any look if you are specific. I asked for a straight across look from previous employees and they had trouble adhering to my wishes. Her services are consistent (Corner to corner!) and SHE is the reason why I still have my membership. I have had probably over 20 different techs serve me and she was HANDS DOWN the best. read more

I am thrilled with my lashes. I bought the Groupon for the express lash. Michelle did an outstanding job! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because of Deidra. During my first experience, she took time to explain which length would be best for what I wanted, which was an in-between party lashes and every day work appropriate to where it wasn't drawing too much attention. She took her time in making sure every lash was properly glued to my natural ones and gave me tips on how to make them last longer. The other 2 fills I've had with her, she has taken her time and I have never felt rushed. The last refill I had with her lasted almost three weeks. The first time I strayed from Deidra, I went to Arianne. She was also very nice, and did a great job in making my lashes feel fuller, but by the time I got to Deidra again, 90% of my lash extensions were gone off my right eye. I attributed that to sleeping primarily on my right side. This past Friday I scheduled a last minute appointment because I couldn't wait another week until Deidra's schedule opened up. Jessica, who apparently is their new technician, had one appointment available at 5:00pm. I checked social media and saw some of her work so far at this location, which looked great, so I booked. Let me say, pictures may look good, but they sure as heck don't tell you how long they'll last. Not even an hour after leaving, a couple lashes fell - NOT attached to a natural lash. Didn't think too much of it, because I thought it was normal. I took the necessary precautions as to not get my lashes wet or workout/sit in a steam room, etc for over 48 hours. I have been sleeping on my back, so I can't blame sleeping on my right side. Since then, 20% of my lashes on my right eye that I got on Friday have already fallen out, again, not attached to any of my natural lashes. The lashes on my left eye have thankfully stayed on for the most part, but then I remembered, the fan to help dry the glue was only held over ONCE and primarily on my left eye.... Because of this experience, I will probably remove them in a week and start researching into other Deka Lash locations or other companies in Atlanta, despite the more expensive pricing.... **Update** I received an email from the owner offering a free fill. read more

$180 for eyelash extensions that last less than 2 weeks? What a joke! My lashes looked great for 1 week, however the process to get them there was nothing short of painstaking. It took over 3 hours for my lashes to be applied and I was not offered a break of any kind to move around or readjust. It was honestly really uncomfortable. My esthetician was friendly but applied lashes that were all exactly the same length, rather than adding a little variety. Although I was going for the most natural look and told her this, I left and was asked immediately by people if I had fake lashes on...(for some reference I have gotten eyelash extensions once before and nobody could tell they were fake because the lengths varied)... If you get the groupon for $60, sure it might be worth it for you. It was really nice not wearing mascara for a those 10 days. But they're now asking for $180 to do a refill after 3 weeks which is just absurd. read more

I have been going to Deka Lash in Chamblee for over a year now and had to change my appointment with my original girl and booked at this location since it was closer to my work. I showed up 20 min early because I knew I had to be back at work which I was just getting a regular fill in that doesn't take more than an hour. I will say the girl I had was very sweet and I could tell she was new because on 2 separate occasions she did something that ripped off my lashes. Then when It came to checking out I am on a membership and no one could understand why it wasn't allowing them to use my benefits. Than I looked at my statement a couple days later and I was charged $110 for something so I contacted them and they asked me to send them where it showed that on my statement so I did. I have ALWAYS gone 3-4 weeks in between fills and have never had issues after a week and a half my lashes on my right eye are mostly gone. I was not impressed at all. Well I never heard back from anyone after that. I give people time to fix things because I understand things happen. But I run a business as well and this just really isn't right. read more

Brand new, clean, modern lash studio in a GREAT location! I had never had lash extensions and I am very weird about stuff around my eyes (I can only wear one brand of mascara etc.) so I was nervous to try it. It doesn't take long to relax and get used to the process... I actually fell asleep. I opted for very short, natural lashes and what a difference in the time it takes to get ready in the morning. I have been twice now - both times Deidra did my lashes - and I'm very happy with the results! If you are on the fence or have ever considered lash extensions, give it a try! Phone answering takes forever, the first time someone answered they hardly spoke English and had no idea how to help. I think it was a central answering service or something. The person doing my lashes kept criticizing the last person's work which by the way I had gotten sooooo many compliments and they stayed in pretty well - it was just too far to see them that day. This new arrangement of lashes ( including the new ones, mine and the previous set all of them) fell out within a week. The endless texting about appointments and begging for positive feedback. Oh and the loud asking for a tip on the way out is always a crowd pleaser. This place is convenient, nicely decorated, but the service and quality meh. Fixes: (1) get phone answering on point and you won't make customers wait while the person answering fumbles (2) teach customer etiquette and do not make negative comments that will cast shade on a customer taking time for herself and wanting to feel pretty (3) I may not be a candidate for lashes, but make sure your product and application is going to last or tell the client it's a waste of money and don't bother. read more
