Y'all. I had the best day before a new job ever. (Well, sort of - but the first part, and that…read morerelevant to this review, was sooo awesome.) My friend Amy Rodbell, who is chic, sweet and runs a great jewelry line, asked if any of her local friends would be available for a photo shoot to model the newest items from her business, Swell Caroline (see my review: http://www.yelp.com/biz/swell-caroline-atlanta#hrid:aizeSyXjsoSNIws-Vzf9Tg/src:self) and we got a fabulous photographer/SCAD grad and amazing - seriously! if I could only do this to myself!!! - makeup artist to boot. Did I mention Amy let us pick an item to take as our "searcy" for our time? What more fun could I have on a non-work-Monday, I don't know....Back to the makeup . . . Kimberly, first of all, is just awesome. Someone with whom you'd want to be friends. She's real, funny, and totally puts you at ease. She even dealt with her boyfriend's doctor's appointment before our shoot and made it in great shape (ie, sans stress though I'm sure she was worried, and we all asked after him) and was so fun all day long. And the day got hot! (This is gonna be a loooong hot summer in Atlanta, if the current temps are any indicator) MAC, and all the other goodies. Kimberly's time at Entebello and since then now on her own (she does a lot of weddings and loves to, and does them for high-to-low but definitely works with the best wedding planners and event places so if you're in the market, check her out), she is delicate and careful with the "palettes" she creates on your face. I NEVER have my makeup done (I don't think I've had it done since my wedding in 2002, by Aric Castleberry, who's no longer in Atlanta but whom I grew to love and trust completely, and with whom Kimberly is a colleague) but I felt so pretty today!! Yes, it got hot and sweaty, but she fixed me up as needed, and I even went home for a quick nap before my event tonight - and my eyeliner was still perfectly in place after. Love her! Can't wait til I have an excuse to get prettified again.

First let me say this. As a teacher I love streamlined processes. Yessi's intro text messages and answers to my questions were prompt, friendly, informative and professional. The booking process was seamless and filling out the consent forms were all done on my phone. I received clear instructions in advance about how to prep for the procedure (Microshading) as well as what to expect. Even though I'd done the procedure before (about 10 years ago), Yessi went over everything in detail. Her location is very clean and comfortable--a separate business suite within a salon complex. Throughout the process she check on my comfort level and asked if I needed anything. Her numbing gel made the entire procedure pain free because she administered the numbing agent through-out the procedure. Yessi let me see ongoing results as she progressed with the procedure. Upon completion, she gave me post care instructions for cleaning and maintaining my brows healthy until the touch-up in 4-6 weeks. I was given an after-care packet of ointment and cleansing solution etc.)....It was a great experience and I LOVE my results!! Yessi is my new brow tech--she is so knowledgable and you can tell from her spirit/professional demeanor that she loves what she does and does what she loves very well. The icing on the cake is.....APMU Med Spa & Brow Studio also offers flexible pay options (AfterPay and Klarna). Let Yessi take care of you--you won't be sorry you did!

Susan explained the entire process and took her time measuring and marking my brows. She gave me a couple of brow shape options and I picked the one I liked most. She used the pictures I had sent for her review and her customized brows were just as beautiful as the ones I would spend 30-40 minutes drawing. The environment and clinic bed were both comfortable and the music selection was pleasant during my appointment. She maintained touch points with me to ensure I was comfortable and to see if I needed a break. I was so comfortable I took a little nap. Once she was done, the brows were beautiful. The healing process was awesome for me. I followed her instructions and used the at home care products as she instructed. I went back for my 6 week touch-up appointment. I thought it was only going to be 30 minutes because to me the brows were perfect. Susan is such a perfectionist that she took as much time as the initial appointment adjusting the color and filling in where it was needed. I didn't think my brows could look any better but Susan outdid herself once again. I had immediate compliments after my initial appointment and the same response happened after my touch-up appointment. I'm beyond satisfied with the outstanding work performed by Susan.
