Tldr: Do not come here for lash extensions. Lashes made my eyes look uneven. My eyes were burning and red for 2 days and the volume lash felt like it was poking my eyes. Lack of communication by the lash technician. I wasted 3 hrs of my life and ended up with irritated eyes and no remedy for my experience from management.. I had a terrible experience a few weeks ago as a lash model where my eyes became irritated, red, and in pain for 2 days until I got them removed. The initial lash placement process was painful where it felt like the lash technician was pulling off my eyelash(I had 5 instances of sharp pain). I also expected classic lash extensions, so I was extremely disappointed that she had put on volume lash extensions(1 lash is connected to 3 fake lashes). My lash technician was nice but did not communicate well before doing my lashes. She did not inform me of the length of the lash extensions until I asked and never told me she was doing volume lashes. The volume lashes were very uneven(see pics) and made my right eye look much smaller than my left eye. I am monolided so volume lashes are terrible for my eyes because of the extra weight. After the appt my eyes felt heavy but okay. A few hrs later, my left eye started burning and looked bloodshot. Because the pain bothered me, I called and made an appt to get them removed the next day. The next morning both my eyes were bloodshot and irritated. This has never happened before with lash extensions. Either the products they use are lower quality or the lash technician messed up. The removal process was slightly painful but my eyes did feel much better with the volume lashes gone. Unfortunately dekalash did nothing to make up for this experience, except to offer another lash model session BUT with the same lash technician who caused my terrible experience. I'm worried about the "training" these lash technicians receive because my eyes could have been damaged further if I waited to get them removed... read more

I got the chance to be a lash model for their training of new lash technicians and get a full set for free - it was a great experience! I have never had eyelash extensions before and they made the process easy and smooth. I made my appointment, checked in, and then the process took around 2 hours for a full set. Fills are recommended 2 weeks after, so I have made an appointment for that as well. I wish I had taken out my contacts before (they had a note about this ahead of my appointment), but you are able to take breaks during your appointment as well for water or to use the restroom. The tech was nice but the results are not lasting. I had these lashes put on exactly a week ago and chunks started falling out the next day. When I contacted Deka they said it's been past the 5-day fix rule and I would need a fill or try a whole new set. No thanks! Terrible customer service and untrained techs. read more

Decided to give this a try as I found a Groupon. The experience was fine. Salon is clean and tech seemed efficient. I was happy with the results. By end of day lashes on right side started coming loose. I have been extremely careful. No mascara, eyeliner, no make up remover or oils. Stay away from Deka Lash VA- Bull Run! My son gifted me a $200 gift certificate & it makes me sad that he wasted his money on this. The establishment itself is clean and well kept. The technician that worked on my lashes (Natalia) is very friendly, courteous and has great customer skills but the lashes did not last. The morning after, I realized half of my lashes on left eye were gone, fallen off. On my right eye, the lashes were stuck together, glue all over lashes. I looked on site and site had the establishment open, so I went over to ask they fix the problem, but they were closed! I called the customer service # and was told, "yes they are closed, the website does not reflect correct hours of service. Three days later they were able to see me, I thought I had my lashes fix, but after a week my lashes were gone, but for 2-3 lashes that now weirdly stuck out. Really sad. Imagine my surprise going to locked doors and no one answering the phone. Just went and it was such a great experience! I booked with Jessica pretty last minute and she was able to fit me in right away! The studio is all brand new and gorgeous! Very relaxing, clean, and comfy ergonomic beds to lay on during your appointment. Jessica was really the star though, she's so warm and friendly! On top of that she's very skilled and I loved how my lashes turned out! I really appreciate that they care about the health of your lashes and recommend just the right length to apply to your natural lashes. Stay away from these people. I went to them about a month ago and was talked into the membership since it would be cheaper. I was told that I could cancelthe membershipat any time. After 3 days it didn't even look like I'd gotten them done. I figured I'd give them another chance since I paid for a membership so I went back 2 weeks later. I told the tech what had happened (same one who did them initially) and she added more volume. I followed all after care instructions and after 3 or 4 days u couldn't tell I'd had anything done. I had an appointment scheduled 4 today that I canceled yesterday so I didn't get charged for canceling too late. I also canceled the membership which was then informed I had to pay for month 2. I guess there is a 2 month minimum. They said I could use the credit for other services. Why would I use for another service when I was satisfied with the 1st service. I explained the tech said I could cancel at any time, but she said that was miscommunication and the 2 months is stated in contract. Very expensive mistake on my part. I'm going to dispute with my bank and see what comes of it, but I would definitely not recommend these people. I should have known something was up. DO NOT recommend especially if you are not white. They turned me away after measuring my lashes with a business card--which no one else has mentioned experiencing leading me to think they are probably racist. If you have shorter lashes and that's why youre getting extensions, this is the absolute WRONG place. They have to MEASURE your lashes and if you're below 5mm, they won't service you at all-wasting your time and not providing anything. They WILL try to upsell you on expensive "serums" to "grow" your lashes for next time or try to send you to ULTA to buy mascara. I have gotten my lashes done for over 5 years and have never faced this stupid policy. They also don't measure first thing in the appointment, furhter wasting your time. If you try to call to make sure you won't charged for cancellation (per their policies), expect to be on hold for 10 minutes even thought the salon was EMPTY. Do not go here if you actually need to extend shorter lashes. Absolutely horrible. read more

I've been getting regular lash extensions for 2 years and I've been to 4 different places. Deka lash is the best out of all! All the staffs are very kind and nice. I recommend Jessica because she is very talented. I tried hybrid for the first time with Jessica and I told her that I want to have glamorous look but keep it natural at the same time. I got exactly what I wanted! On my second session, Jessica spent more time to do my lashes. So nice of her. She is so gentle that I fell a sleep. My friend also went to Jessica and she loves her too. It lasts so long too. My first extensions at Deka lash lasted more than 3 weeks. It also felt like my own and it doesn't bother your eyes at all. I'm definitely going back to see Jessica! read more
