My husband and I have received facials from Jenny a couple of times now…read more The location is in a more residential area - I love the neighborhood and the fact that there is free parking onsite. As there's nothing worse than worrying about if you're going to have a ticket waiting for you after your spa service SMH. Upon entering, we're always personally greeted by Jenny. Now, I'm not the warm and fuzzy type, but there is a certain draw about her. She is so warm and caring, which directly translates into her work. Her products and methods are top notch. At the start of the facial, she always steams your face to open those pores up - then she gets to work with a lovely exfoliating mask and then layers on all the goodies. By the end of my facial, I kinda feel like a princess. And my husband, who is a very easygoing guy, says "that was nice," which is huge for him lol. He approved of the men's skincare products used, and he was absolutely radiant for the following week. So, while spending time with Jenny, I was also introduced to cupping. As I understand/lived it - Jenny has a gun that she attaches a cup to, then she attaches the cup to wherever you're tense. For me, my left shoulder/upper back get really tight, so she attached a few cups to my tense area using the suction gun. Then for a few minutes she left them on and they did their thing... The suction cups lift the skin, allowing more blood and oxygen flow to the tense area, relieving pain and stiffness without medicine. It was a weird sensation, but it did work almost instantly. The only downside is the bruising. It has been seven days and I still have a faint set of circular bruises where my cups were.

I saw the website for this business, but upon clicking on it, I am taken to other businesses that have nothing to do with Jenny's business. I don't think this is intentional, but Jenny might want to get her own webpage set up for herself. Right now her webpage is going to other businesses and one can't get the prices for her lists of services. I hope this problem is fixed soon. As for now, I will have to call and find out. Update: After speaking to Jenny, She informed me that there are different types of facials she does. Costs go from $150, $170 and $200 not including tip. Waxing is only for the eyebrows and Jenny only works on the face. Jenny doesn't do body treatments of any kind except the face. Hope this helps. As for going here, the prices I was told about seem a little to step for me. I would also want body work done and Jenny said she doesn't do that. I might make an appointment, but until that day..."C'est la vie", say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell..."

She's a perfectionist and pays careful attention to facial symmetry. A true artist. It's a huge commitment to let someone do semi-permanent makeup, but I completely trust her. Booking was easy online, the location was very convenient to get to, I had no trouble finding parking, and the new location looks fantastic! The appointment took just under 2 hours and was very comfortable. The new studio is much bigger, very clean, and has a relaxing ambiance. If you're in the fence about getting your brows done, I highly recommend going to Borte.

Although that person did a good job, I started following Tuull on social media around that same time and knew she would be the next artist I went to once I was due for a touch up. The person that first did my brows did a good job keeping things conservative (which I appreciated.) But at the one year mark, the work had shrunken and faded enough that it only looked a tad different from my natural brows so I went to Borte for that little extra razzle dazzle. It was super easy booking online and during our consultative visit, Tuull walked me through some options, asked me lots of questions and even sketched different stylistic approaches on my brows to then go home and think about. I then returned for my follow-up appointment and since then, two more touch up appointments over the past couple of years. She is a total pro and really knows what she is doing. My brows now frame my features in a much more defined way and it's freeing to not have to do my brows daily and still enjoy their framing once I wash my face or go swimming. Like with any powder brows, you've got to get your annual touch-up to keep them looking fresh (because fading is inevitable.) However, it's also nice to know that if you ever decide you no longer like that aesthetic, Borte also offers removal services as well. Thanks so my for the beautiful brows, Tuull!

I was planning my wedding this year and knew I wanted to have lash extensions for my wedding day but had never had them before. So for this past year I went to Jessie and was able to play around with different lengths and styles and I found my perfect fit for my puffy Asian monolids. And the quality on my most recent visit wasn't that great. And the first place was in someone's apartment and put on the most expensive lashes without my approval and expected me to pay $400. Thankfully they came down to $350. Ugh. I'm so glad I kept searching and found Lash Avenue. I was weary when I saw so many positive reviews. Thinking, "are they real?" But after one visit, I find myself leaving a review the same day! Not only are the prices reasonable, Jessie had me in and out in one hour. You can tell she knows what she's doing, and can somehow combine quality with speed. I have finally found someone that I can see myself going to on a regular basis! I almost didn't want to post this because she's so good I'd like to keep her a secret :) But she deserves it. She's that great! You won't be disappointed.

This wasn't a casual appointment for me. I was already feeling nervous and vulnerable about whether the service would even be safe for me. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke with showed no empathy or care whatsoever. Instead of addressing my concerns or offering any reassurance, she brushed me off, handed me a consent form to read on my own, and abruptly walked away to attend to another client. I was left standing there feeling dismissed and unheard. There was no effort to answer my questions, guide me through the process, or make me feel comfortable. To make matters worse, I was simply told to "book online" if I wanted to proceed. Without any real consultation or support. That is not what I would expect from a business that provides personal care services, especially when a client is expressing legitimate health concerns. This experience left me feeling even more anxious than when I walked in. Compassion and basic customer care go a long way, and sadly, neither was present here. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend this location or any affiliated locations. If this is how clients are treated. If i could give no stars I would!
