I followed all of the after-care directions to a T that were provided by the tech; however, my lashes were back to their flat selves in 3-4 days. OMG WORST salon experience ever!!! I've had lash extensions for years and I've never had a service or salon as bad as this. First I guarantee they aren't all licensed or have gone to school . They didn't even have me fill out any paperwork. The "tech" looked 14 and dressed like she rolled out of bed. My lashes took less time than I've ever experienced. Worst part- one eye in the morning was almost completely bald. When I called they were just basically like oh well here's your money back And we are too booked to fix them . All I wanted was them removed but the girl said sorry I need to get back to my client. Ridiculous way to run a business. I should have been compensated for having to desperately find a place to pay to get the remainders taken off . They couldn't care less to lose a client . Very rude. read more

I had high hopes because I have gotten my lashes done by multiple Deka chains before in the past. But I left this time very unsatisfied. I had Alexandra do my lashes, and don't get me wrong she is a sweet woman. At first glance, my lashes didn't look bad, but after having a closer look, many of my natural lashes didn't have an extension on them which defeats the classic look. I don't think the time was taken to individually apply the extension to each lash so many sections underneath look sparse. When I came home to brush my lashes after 15 minutes, 4-7 fell out that same day and continued to fall out at the same rate every day. By day 5, I would say I had 25% of the lashes on my right eye and 40% on my left. That just tells me that they didn't apply the lash correctly to the base or use a good adhesive for retention. Will not be returning ever again, spend the money elsewhere where it is worth it. read more

So, i'm going to be fair and give them a 3 because there are some perks that deka lash did have. Otherwise, i'm a little dissapointed with how my lashes turned out. So I had went maybe a month ago to recieve natural lashes for $99 dollars. Pricey, but with that said I was hopeful that i'd get for what I paid for. As my lashes were getting done, me and the lady were talking, we had some connections to people and places and were talking about that, which I think it got out of hand and she eventually became sloppy and I guess, not really in her mindset of these lashes. Which then, caused my eye to start burning and I couldn't open it. Later on once I got home my eye was completely bloodshot and in pain. I bought some eye drops and eventually it went away within the next few days. (pictures below) Prior to my next appointment, which was a few days ago. I had a different lady, which was the manager. I was excited to get them redone. I go in for my appointment and she did an AMAZING job! She added some volume and life to it I was very impressed. She was sweet, friendly and did an overall FANTASTIC! As for the bad part, it is now 4 days after and my whole right eye lost its dimension while my left eye still has every lash on there. A bunch of my lashes are just falling off. With that all said, I probably won't come back for eyelash extensions, since mine seem to fall out in chunks even when I don't mess with it at all. The place overall, has amazing staff, and an amazing atmosphere as well as the place is VERY clean!! Hopefully they can change my mind in the future about eyelash extensions, as for now, I guess i'll pass. read more

I went to Deka Lash for a lash lift and tint. I'm pretty happy with my lash lift and tint. This service is great if you want something extra down to your lashes but nothing too dramatic. My lash tech Kim was really nice. She didn't say much during the session so I wasn't too sure what was going on the entire time. I was surprised that a lash lift took so long but I'm happy with the results. A lash lift makes applying mascara easier and makes you look more awake. They didn't mention anything to me about memberships or products which is nice because at some places they overwhelmed you with that stuff. read more

Just left and I am very happy with my lash extensions. My technician was Dee (the studio manager), she was quick and efficient. I liked that she was honest and suggested that I did not need to get my bottom lashes tinted (and she also informed me that it should not be done the same time as extensions as the tint could cause the lashes not to last as long when done the same day). She also informed me that Deka Lash does not install lashes that may be too long or heavy for one's natural lashes, which ensures better longevity. This an issue that other lash studios (like Amazing Lash Studio) do not have, which is frankly irresponsible and a bad business practice. I appreciate that Deka Lash obviously has the best interest of their clients in mind. I like quietly zoning out when I get my lashes done and I appreciated that I was not forced to make any small talk. The environment is quiet and comfortable. I left after purchasing the basic package, a refill every month. This location is inexpensive compared to other plac I'm sorry to say that I came away from my appointment with a bacterial infection in my eye, the first I've ever gotten. I cant say for sure that I got it from here, but I'd rather not risk having it happen again. I won't be back. read more

I got my lashes done 5 days ago, on the first day half of them came off by the evening.. 5 days later not even one lash is left on my eye. When they were applied they didn't even start at my eyelid, they were applied in the middle of my lash and looked horrible. I've gotten my lashes done at amazing lash studio and never had this problem, they would last 3 weeks. They have a 5 day fix policy but I wouldn't even want to return to the person who did my lashes considering the first time they did it was horrible. Spent $120 for nothing. Today, I went to deka lash for eyelash extensions modeling. Employees are kind, nice and made me feel comfortable. It was all good in that time. But I experienced worst eyelash extensions ever. I'm so disappointed on her skills, technician ONLY worked on mid of my eyes. About 40-50 lashes on my eyes took more than 2 hours As you can see in pictures I'm missing my edges of lashes. I know she tried hard, but not professionally doing well. They're asking me for modeling for practice. I felt I wasted my time. Hopefully they have experienced eyelash technicians in future. I've been going here for a few months. Never had a bad experience. All the girls are super nice and they have flexible schedules for my favorite techs. I have an unlimited membership and they really DO let you go in as often as you want with this. I've had basically ever girl in there do my lashes and in my experience, if your lashes are falling out, it's something you are doing, not how they were applied. Mine have only fallen out when I've knowingly done something such as get them wet within 24 hours , rub my eyes, sleep with my eyes in my pillow, take off eye makeup etc....If your lashes fall out they offer a free fill within 5 days of your apt. read more

I am writing to warn others not to go! I went 3 times. The first I had a technician that didn't know what she was doing and the lashes fell off in 1 week, despite following their rules on how to care for the lashes. The next time I had a technician who did know what she was doing and the lashes looked great . The lashes lasted under 2 weeks. The last time I went I tried a fuller softer lash and again they looked great, not at all natural, but pretty in a false eyelash kind of way. I decided to let them grow out though and give my lashes a break. I heard that they can damage your lashes. When they grew out my lashes looked horrible! They are short thin and dry now! They used to be fine blonde lashes but they are now ruined!!! Do not go unless you want to be a slave to having the fake lashes on forever!!! read more

I have never taken the time to write a review in my life. But i really appreciated the experience i had at deka lash a few days ago. I have been getting lashes done for a little over a year now. I have been to multiple places and i've experienced it ALL. I used to go to amazing lash studio where they over charge for terrible quality, and terrible service. Then i moved to florida and it took me months to find a decent place. But even with the best places i found , they all took about 2+ hours for a full set and I have extreme anxiety when i'm laying in a chair for 2 hours with my eyes taped shut almost to the point where I didn't want to get my lashes done anymore regardless of how much i love and need them. Now that I am back in jersey i did some research and when i saw this place, deka lash, had a service called truexpress which takes only 1 hour for a full set, i called them right away and asked so many questions and whoever i spoke to on the phone was so helpful and they were able to fit me in the same day. I walked in and they were very professional about cleanliness and the virus control. The entire place just seemed really cute and clean which always makes me feel more comfortable. I got the truexpress full set with cindy and she is so sweet and amazing. More importantly it's been a couple of days and I haven't seen a single lash fall off. When Cindy asked me about the membership i didn't even have to think twice. I signed up and i get 2 fills a month for only $119! I am seriously so excited and thankful that i found this place and signed up for a membership and for once i feel as if i'm not being scammed or overcharged for mediocre lash jobs. I've been to three different lash places in the area- one was a big chain, one a smaller boutique style place and now Deka Lash. Three things I love about Deka Lash- 1. they are ALWAYS running on schedule. Lashes take forever & I used to hate when I got to an appointment & had to wait & then get my lashes done, making the event more like 1.5-2 hours rather than an hour. The lash stylists know their timeline well and don't go over, yet still do an excellent job. 2.- their membership plan is straight forward and can be frozen at any time without hassle. I was completely screwed over by another large chain lash studio that charged me for frozen months and then banned me from returning because I didn't pay when my membership was FROZEN! 3.- their lashes stay on forever. at 2 weeks when it was time for a fill, I didn't even look like I needed one!
