I would say this was one of the least painful Brazilians I have received, and the pricing was really good. EJ is also overall just a really wonderful and pleasant person to know. She has great energy and matches you, and easy to talk to! It was a somewhat busy Saturday afternoon when I went in and I had this odd gift card that someone had given to me. I was a gift card that had a bunch of different stores and restaurants and Ulta was one of them and I figured I may as well use it because I'm always there. When I got to the register, she was trying to scan it and she realize that I had to download the QR code and fill out the information. She took my phone for me, and proceeded to do everything that needed to be done and had so much patience with me. I got nervous because I felt like it was busy and she reassured me that it was no issue and took her time with me. She is an example of an amazing employee. I was trying to find the manager to complement Sabrina but my boyfriend was in a hurry, so I wanted to post it on here just so that the manager knows she is amazing.

At the beginning she asked if I wanted lashes, and I agreed. Towards the end of my appointment, she handed me the mirror to check on my makeup. I pointed out a few things, which she fixed and at that point, I was happy. When I went to pay, my artist mentioned to the person at the desk the lashes. And when they stated the price, it was $20 higher than I was originally anticipating per the pricing online. They asked if I wanted a receipt, I said yes to check it but they only handed me the credit card slip. I asked for the itemized receipt and the lashes were an extra $20. At no point did the makeup artist mention the up charge and I was a little taken aback. A friend of mine came in after and I mentioned the lashes to her and she opted out of them. I was frustrated as I literally had lashes in my purse while sitting in the makeup chair. I wish I had the option to pay the extra fee instead of not being warned. I mentioned I didn't get my makeup done often so this wasn't something I was expecting and it wasn't listed on their website that lashes were extra when booking. I was really disappointed as I felt like it was done secretive instead of being open with clients.

If I lived near this would be my go to spot. They are a bit pricier than other places around, but since it lasted three weeks without ANY chip or peeling it is worth it! I even work with my hands and sets don't even last the full 2 weeks sometimes.

I don't want to name the individuals but I do think the owners need to do some quality control and get back to basics. My services were so rushed that my nail technician who typically does an amazing above and beyond job left rough sharp edges and my gel dried thicker in some places vs others on my finger nails. It was so not like her but she was 30 min late for my appt and then had someone else after me even tho it was late in the evening so she was rushing to get me done and she didn't achieve her typical perfection. This visit was very disappointing. The woman who did my pedicure had no experience or was so done with working at the end of the day she was sanding off my toes and the skin on my toes off with the metal drill bit. This was the worst pedicure I ever had for $63. I did say that the drill needed to be slowed she didn't understand and finally when the owner walked by I explained this wasn't working because I was getting hurt. The tech changed the drill bit for a few minutes and shortly after went back to the metal one. She didn't cut the cuticles or clean out the sides which is what was my typical experience was here. I had so much anxiety that I was going to lose a toe in the process this ruined the self care aspect. I think I'll give the gel manicure another chance but I'm done with getting bloody pedicures here. I'm actual really annoyed and feel taken advantage of.

I ended up going to get it checked out, and the doctor suggested it could have been caused by a contaminated or improperly disinfected extraction tool. That immediately made sense to me because I didn't see a barbicide jar or any visible sanitizing setup in the room where my facial was performed. It really made me question whether they are properly disinfecting their tools between clients. Overall, this experience was stressful.
