When I'm buying from a Dealership that advertises "Quality" Luxury Vehicles, this is not what I expect as I was also told that all Vehicles are inspected! The car buying process was smooth and easy. I called ahead of time, and Patric had the CarFax ready when I arrived. I felt comfortable with their asking price, and went through their financing. I did not have a trade in. I never felt pressured, and Patric was very easy to work with. A day after I bought the car, I noticed that the knob to my MMI was not working correctly. I spent the day looking up possible solutions, and when I couldn't find any, emailed Patric the following day to see if he could help. He had me drive out to Bellevue, he agreed that it wasn't working right, and told me he would order a new knob. This all happened at the beginning/middle of July, and I still don't have a new knob. I've emailed Patric several times to check on the status. Over the last several months I have been told that the part was on back order, then they had to place an order with a different company, and then that the parts that came in were either broken or missing. They never once reached out to me to keep me updated on the status of the new part. I only got updates after I emailed them. Although the car buying process was easy, I would not recommend Definitive Motors for purchasing a car because of their poor customer service after I bought my vehicle. read more

He refused to be transparent with the serial number of the 2020 Rad City so that its registration history could be vetted prior to purchase. Further, he replied to our Google review with contempt and further lies. This is the second purchase we have made with Definitive Motors. Both times were "magic." They are not like buying from a dealership where negotiations are like sitting in a dentist's chair. For hours! DM's prices are fair and, where possible, they do what they can to accept a trade in. On this second go-round, we had a trade-in and were very satisfied with their offer. In fact, our trade-in car was the one we'd purchased in our first DM encounter. Our salesman was patient and accommodating during the process. And we were surprised that DM's inventory of cars was much bigger than what was on their front lot. No car purchase is completed quickly, especially when financing is involved. Considering our satisfaction with the purchase we made, we were patient with the morning to early evening process. DM is not a big facility, but covid safety measures were satisfactory. Since my husband and I are seniors with health issues, we were concerned. While waiting for our financing to come through, I sat in the small sitting area. Fortunately, there were no other customers at the time. My husband preferred to stand outside. Unfortunately, it was a cold day. I might suggest they invest in an outdoor heater of some sort. If customers end up being there all day, it might be good if DM offered to get customers something to eat, like a sandwich or a salad. Or at least, let customers know they can go across the street and get something to eat. With the process in high gear, we didn't want to leave the premises in case we were needed to answer questions. We love our pre-owned/pre-certified Lexus; just as we had loved our previous DM purchase, a pre-owned/pre-certified BMW. We definitely prefer dealing with Definitive Motors than a dealership when it comes to purchasing cars. We highly recommend this family-owned business. They know their product. Cars! Cars! Purchased what appeared to be a decent 2011 Porsche 911 C4S with 60K miles. Salesman says they don't allow test drives until after negotiation (which should have raised a red flag). They allowed me a 1-mile test drive on 116th Ave SE in Bellevue just prior to signing, hardly enough to get a feel for the car. When I went back to pick up my license plates, I showed interest in a newer 2017 911 C4S and repeatedly asked what trade-in allowance they would give for the 911 I just purchased from them. Heard no response whatsoever. I felt totally ghosted. I eventually traded in the 911 at Porsche Bellevue for a $13K loss. I take responsibility for not doing my due diligence with regard to my 911 purchase, but I wouldn't recommend this dealership nor purchase from them again. Buyers beware. Probably the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. No pressure from a sales person. I went online and reviewed the entire inventory which is varied both by makes/model and pricing. Searched until I found the one I liked. The next morning went in, was just handed the keys and left alone to check it out, nobody hovering around. When I wanted to drive it I was given the keys and sent out without a salesman. Absolutely no pressure. Unless you want to finance or trade-in the purchase took about 30 minutes while they made a last wash, sign some forms related to the title, handed me the keys and I drove off. We went in to look at a 2019 Lexus, Freddie also showed us other cars, including an older car with that was several thousand $$$ less. Extremely disappointed to have to write this, but it is the only way to "attempt" to hold Definitive Motors accountable. Within 1 week of purchasing a 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman, engine light (i.e., Engine Malfunction! Reduced Power) came on. I live in eastern WA, so I took the car to BMW to get diagnostics ($200) and multiple issues were shown, resulting in over $2k in repairs needing done and the extended warranty does NOT cover them. Are you kidding me??? Definitive Motors refuses to do anything and the GM, Fred Chulsky, has been completely MIA - will not return phone calls, respond to emails, etc. Instead of addressing me directly, he chose to avoid and waste my time, hoping I'd drop it, I'm sure.
