Do NOT get your eyebrows done at this Salon. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for past 16 years, and no one has messed up on them as bad as Deeva Salon. The girl doing the eyebrows there has no clue what she is doing. She took about 10-15 extra hairs from my eye brows, and when I pointed out that my eyebrows were uneven and that she took out more than usual, her response was " OH! You are right!" She didn't apologize, didn't try to fix it, or try to fill in my eyebrows with a pencil. Worst service ever, never returning to this salon. read more

I have never written a review before and had to write one for this salon to let others know how they would be treated if they ever voiced their opinion on your service. very disappointing customer service and arrogant people. I once told them that I'm not satisfied with their service for eyebrows as one side was soo evidently thinner than the other and when I asked the lady professional to remove some extras she gave me a tweezer and asked me to do it myself!! The next time I visited not for eyebrows instead for waxing they said they deny service because I had told them the last time I was disappointed with their service . They have every right to deny service to a customer but to run a business successfully you should also be able to accept negative feedbacks and work towards making your service better rather than showing arrogance and denying service. I have not known any other salon which DENY service just because the customer said they were not satisfied , all they would do is see what can be done to improve the service. This is heights of arrogance. But after I told them I'm not getting eyebrows done instead waxing , they said they are ok. But the way they were waxing by ripping off the wax without even letting it dry (Hard wax should be left to dry unlike the warm wax) and pulling it repeatedly causing more pain indicated the lady was venting her anger on me. This is definitely not the way to run business and treat customers. We are paying for the service and its not for free. You have lost a regular customer ,I will never visit this salon again and never recommend for anyone else. read more

Deeva salon first of all i thought, it is a brand new salon, do they really know how to do the haircut and color services.but i thought lets give them a try, woooo it was awesome more than what i expected. I have only done my eyebrows here. They do a decent job. The reason I am giving 1 star is that, the last time i got it done here it was BAD. The lady who did it made me suffer with pain. I was just getting my extras done. What bothered me was, when she was shaping my eyebrows, I told her to stop thrice and took a break and requested her politely to do it carefully. She even hurt my eyes and came constantly close to my eyelashes. I just wanted to run away because I couldnt bear the pain. I find it difficult to complain or talk rudely to the service people as I fear it may affect their job. So i just didnt tip her and left very disappointed. read more

I don't know about the bad reviewed but this place gets a 5 star rating for me just for getting their eyebrow threading right. Considering how many places have sprung up in Greater Seattle area, its a shame that almost everywhere I've tried did just an ok job. This place is not the best (I've gotten better in Mumbai, India) but its the best in Seattle area. Lets begin with the positives: My husband needed a haircut. He was happy with the result. The people are very nice and courteous. Great for the pocket. Close to our favorite shops. The negatives: Never go without an appointment even if they say walk in is ok. (long story) The long story: We called on a working day to check if appointment is needed and a lady told no. When we arrived, a man told us it'll take 45 min. So we said we'll come back in that time. We did not give our name and he did not ask for it. When we came back after 45 min, it was a new guy at the desk and this time we had to wait for another 45 min. Also I could not get my threading done as the shop was closing and the person was occupied and they requested me to come the next day. So my trip was a waste. Conclusion: I'll give it one more chance. They told us that they have more staff coming in, so things should move faster. read more

This is a terrible place. I would give it a negative rating if possible.I went for threading my eyebrows and they let a newbie thread me and she was threading one hair at a time causing me immense pain. So halfway I requested for a change of personnel without getting mad at the beautician.I waited till another beautician was done with her current client but she didn't get to my eyebrows even after that. She went with her next client while i waited with my half done eyebrows. It was pretty embarrassing situation. I really got mad and stormed out of the salon when I saw how uncaring the staff was. I am very particular about my hair style. I tried few salons in this area but was never satisfied with the haircuts. Then I came across Deeva Salon. Ruby and Teressa are my favorite hairstylists. Ruby is a perfectionist ! I usually never have to explain her much about the hairstyle I need and she always does a great job. My wife also gets her threading done here by Ruby or Ruksana. i used to love this place when ruksana was there, but now its a total disaster. I went there a few weeks ago at 11 when the place opens. The lady asked me to wait for 3 mins because it wasn't 11 yet. whatever. THEN, i go and sit in the chair and i am greeted by (I'm putting this nicely) a woman with a very hairy upper lip as well as undone eyebrows (a thick unibrow) . I was EXTREMElY uncomfortable with this. I don't want to be rude, but I don't want to get my eyebrows done by someone who can't maintain their own eyebrows. Also, the receptionist was so cranky. One lady said politely , "Everybody wants Ruksana to do their eyebrows!" and the woman replied with "It's nothing special." I was taken aback by her blatant rudeness. ruby is very prejudiced. i noticed how she treats "certain" people with a lot more respect than others. The worst salon I have seen in the area, I don't even know why they let these kind of people run the business. I went to Deeva's a couple of times, as I was staying close by and dint have a choice. Everytime I go, there would be a different lady doing the eyebrow (I don't even get to choose who I want and cannot be sure who is good at the job), they have spoilt my eyebrows everytime I went. Went for threading and facial. The person who did my threading was just rushing and was doing it rough. Looks like they are short of staff and they were rushing. Also for facial, they don't do the white heads and black heads removal. If you want it to get it done, they charge extra for each of black head or white head removal which is really a mere rip off. They don't treat the customers well. Also their prices are way TOO HIGH for the kinda of service they offer. Not worth the time and money. read more

Got a haircut done recently. I had a good hair cut before after getting hair cut here realised my hair was in a mess with uneven layers done by the hair stylist despite telling her how I want it. Very bad Salon, they have spoiled my hair totally. They don't even know how to do their job. The senior don't even takes the complaint seriously and was arrogant through out the discussion. I Wish , I could give Zero star!!Clumsy place, no decorum , they dont know how to behave with customers. I went for waxing of full arms & legs & the service was done within 10 - 15 mints. I was skeptical how quickly they finished it. When I saw my leg with unwaxed hair then realized that their secret behind of quick service. I politely told the lady that some of the hairs are left undone. OMG , she replied me with out even giving a second trial with a weird look that those are under skin hair so can't pull with wax. I and my wife visited this place, but not at all happy with the service which we got. The prices were not offered to what they quoted. We had their own Deeva Salon coupons and they didn't accept it since they said its not for bridal makeup and they charged me in a different manner. I think it was better not to let them know it was for the bride. The coupon clearly states all services will be offered at 20% discount for the second visit. I had to come down two times to color my hair and my wife was looking horrible after her makeup. I have pictures which can prove it. They were late to dress my wife and we missed our photograph session which was booked earlier. It was our big day in our life, I am not getting married everyday but i feel they screwed up my schedule. On top of that my wife was not at all happy, she was really sad and upset about it. She was late for the party because after dressing up she had to come back home and dress up by herself to look better. We spend hundreds of $$ but in VAIN!! Not a professional place. Very unprofessional service! I took my mom here for a haircut and the stylist claimed that she didn't know how to cut shorter hair. How can a senior stylist, who I think was the owner, not know how to cut hair?! She asked us to come back after a couple hours when another stylist would be in. Anyway, the haircut my mom received was so awful that we had to visit another salon to get it fixed. Having moved from the bay area, I expected more from an Indian salon. It's one of the poorly managed Saloon I've ever been. Waiting time is too long and the service was bad as well. I went for hair Oil massage. Every 2 mins the staff leaves me to check the reception to check on new customers who walk in. She did this more than 4/5 times while applying oil. This not only happened to me but to the other customer too. Only 2 staff was there addressing nearly 5-6 customers including the reception. I was irritated with the poor service.They are either under staffed or poorly managed by the owner. Though it was a oil massage I never had a good massage and only after I asked the staff she did that but that too for 2/3 minutes which was bad again. I paid 30$ for a useless service with a bad customer experience. Though they are cheap than other neighborhood saloon it's a worst place to go. Poor service and unfriendly staff/management. read more
