My son has long hair and went in for a haircut - he asked them to shorten his curly hair on top slightly. The person used a razor and shaved it off completely before he could say anything! Now he is left with a bald look! In which universe is this acceptable! When I go for a haircut at any other place, if I ask for something drastically different, they always ask me if I am sure a hundred times before they make the change. Leilani has been cutting my hair and I could not be happier. If you want a good fade then you absolutely have to come see her. I grew up in Miami where almost every barber was a master at fading but Leilani is the only one I've found in Washington who can do it. I've had a few other styles from her and they've all been great but if you want to look the best you ever have get a fade. She also trimmed my beard and somehow even though she took hair off it made it look so much bigger and fuller, some sorta hair-craft magic. I'd rate her 6 stars if I could. read more

I would highly recommend NOT going here. I am new to the area/state and have had 2 haircuts so far. The first was at Weldon in Redmond which was great. The second was here at Weldon in Sammamish. I got a haircut on Saturday 11/9. Was informed 15min before that they had no hot water that day so would not shampoo. No problem. Went in, got a simple cut, the stylist was nice and extremely quick, we are talking 15min and done. I didn't realize how quick it was until after paying $50 for a "Timesaver" cut. Went home, noticed a bunch of loose hair on my ear. No biggie. Washed my hair and took a better look at it to find it completely uneven, completely lopsided and unpresentable. This was the day before a week long work trip so I called after I returned into town to get it fixed. I called before noon and they scheduled me for 5pm that same day. Great! I arrived at 4:45 and they didn't see me on their system. After a little digging, they told me they saw I was listed but then removed for someone else and the next available time was 7pm. I told them I found it ridiculous that they cancelled my fix booking without notifying me and wasting my time, but that I would take the 7pm because what other option did I have. Don't waste your time or money at this place. I cut my own hair for the first time during 2020 and it came out better than what I paid these people to do professionally. This is the worst haircut I've ever received, and the fact they scheduled over my fix appointment is a joke. UPDATE: i went back shortly after 5 and asked if there was earlier availability at the Redmond location. The receptionist said she would have to check with the manager if the Fix would transfer. She returned to tell me that it wouldn't, which I was fine with. The manager immediately came out after and asked aggressively "what's the problem?". I told him that my hair was messed up, I needed it fixed and my fix was overbooked. He then asked when my haircut was and then proceeded to tell me they won't fix it without charging me as it's been over a week, even though I was out of town. I proceeded to tell him two words in combination that start with the letter f and the second sounding like the letter u. This place wasted my money, it wasted my time, and this aggressive manager who refused to make right on it has lost my patronage for all of Weldon. If you decide to go here, I wish you a better experience. If you are new like me and haven't been here before, maybe reconsider. read more

My partner came in for a fade, but it wasn't faded you could easily see the guard line. Very expensive for what you get though it was nice that they wash your hair. Service seemed rushed, my partners current barber takes an hour and makes sure everything is perfect. The barber here seemed to stick to a time schedule even though the cut wasn't properly finished. More practice is needed by the barber to fade properly, for the price of this haircut you would expect a better result. read more

I have a full head of hair and they made it look like I needed a comb over! The hairdresser missed where I part my hair, and so for the past month have been trying to get my hair to look somewhat decent, no luck. Here's what's more annoying, though: I'd told that I wanted short hair on the side and back, and at one point she asked me if she'd cut enough. I told her it could be a bit more short, and she didnt like that. So after cutting a bit more, she just said: I"ll show you what your back looks like only after the shampoo, cos otherwise you'll make me take more time! I went to this place last weekend. Overall place is really good. Everything inside I like. I think my master was Robert, and he did pretty great job. To tell exactly how was his job done, i really satisfied. And I understand to be sure master is good or not, you should try hair cut with same master 2-3 times. May be 2 time correct something. Great customer service, well organized, great Master Barbers. The atmosphere smells of tea tree oil and mint, very pleasant. Very up beat music always playing and Sports on the big screen TV. We come to see Tori every time with the exception of one time. We actually followed Tori from Issaquah to the new Sammamish Location. Had no idea she was the Manger until today. I started going to this salon in February, had only 5 haircuts with them as I normally get a haircut every 3-4 weeks. I arrived for my 6th appointment 5 minutes before my scheduled time (as I always do) only to find out that my stylist had just taken someone else back 5 minutes before to cut their hair. This was the second time she's done this (the first time was only my 3rd cut). So, the first time I was understanding, however the second time was enough for me to never go back. The purpose of an appointment is for me to not have to wait. I can understand a few minutes running behind, but taking a customer 5 minutes before you have a client appointment and asking me to wait 20+ minutes is disrespectful of my time and contrary to having an appointment. The owners should provide better training with their stylists to ensure that this does not happen if in only 6 times of trying to come there it's happened twice (that's failing to meet an appointment 33% of the time). I can certainly find a salon where for $50-$75 a haircut my stylist will take me on time. The owner says on her profile that they strive for a "quality experience" and "strive to put our customers first!" I would say that failing to keep my appointments is neither a quality experience nor striving to put me, a customer, first. UPDATE: On 6/23 Tabrina responded to my review asking me to email them (their stock reply to everyone and it means nothing as they don't reply). Not only did I email them, but I emailed them prior to her asking me to. There was NO response to my email. Additionally, when this happened I called the store and asked for a manager to contact me. Several days later an Assistant called and after explaining a bit she asked if I wanted someone from their corporate to contact me, I said yes. There was NO call back. Suffice to say, the stock response from Tabrina to email them is just that. They don't respond, and it's obvious that they really don't care about losing customers. Angela, you posting your so-called comittments to your customers is as empty as the stock replies from Tabrina. (I did request someone experienced when we booked). So pleased Mary was the stylist! He showed her the photo and asked her advice. She was upfront that his hair needed to be a little longer on top for an exact photo match, but would do her best. I waited in the sitting area. Wow! I had a small hiccup in between with a haircut gone bad although I had been clear to have it cut just like last time. The barber didn't seem as experienced as the last one, which I can understand. When I called back, the lady at the front desk told me that I can get a hair cut for free if I am not satisfied, only for a week. But then I called back, and I think it was the owner or the Manager, who assured me that if I am not satisfied, I can get a hair cut for free any time. And she personally attended to me and got me going .That was really nice and I appreciate their customer service. As much as they are good at their service, except for that one barber who did not do a good job, the barbers are very honest about the products and do not try to over-sell like other salon chains.
