I love coming here for eyebrow threading because of the low price (Bellevue price the same as DK market pricing in Renton!!) However, if you are trying to find same day availability or even next day availability.. GOOD LUCK! The staff are pretty rude over the phone and sometimes they never pick up their phone. If you're able to get in- book with Gokh. She is amazing and will work wonders on your brows. read more

I have been going here since 2015 when it was with the previous owner. They were the best in business at the time . Each of their staff member was excellent and did their job with perfection. They used to be super busy back then with eyebrows walkins waiting for 1 hour . The staff was same always . not anymore. I wonder where the clients are gone. After covid they slowed down and with the new owner all the staff was gone too. Everytime I go theres a different person doing my eyebrows . The staff is always talking on the phone idling their time away and put up the closed sign whenever they want. They dont even seem to be experienced. They chat with friends on the phone even when attending customers. I still go there because its a benefit for me that they have no customers and so I dont have to wait in line but I still dream about that perfect shape that the previous owner's staff used to give me read more

Now called "Aap Ka Spa", good staff, skilled at what they do but they demand cash payments only. Bummer!

It's not a free service, the least you can do is greet your customers in a way that feels them welcomed! 2 months ago, i took my wife to Deeva for her haircut along with her eyebrows & upper lip and she totally loved the work. It was her first visit outside India and the overall experience was good. We went again last month for her eyebrows and she was attended by a different person and the next day, she had pains near her eyes as some of the skin seemed to have been ripped and there were few rashes. We did not report as we thought we will ensure the same person does not do it from next time! And for our final visit, we were in for a surprise when the Owner seemed totally unapologetic, harsh to accept that this could have happened at her salon! When i narrated that the last visit was not good and we do not want the same professional to attend to my wife, she stated that it is because my wife may not sat properly during the process and might have been "moving" while her brows were being attended to!!! ... She went ahead and even told that her professional has 9 years of experience and knows her work!!! Well, i had proof and when i showed some pics of the last week; she quickly stated that I should have come back when this happened and cry it out after a month! We did not go back to sue or get some compensation or free service but if an Owner cannot even accept or hear out their customers, i am sorry to say that it will be our last visit! There are plenty of salons and i think we found one too!! read more

I stop by to get my eyebrows trimmed. Whoever is available kindly cuts them in a timely and precise manner. Greatly appreciate, makes them look thick with no long hairs. Unfortunately too thin to take advantage of the salon's five star threading service! read more

This place has always been my go to for eyebrow threading. Raj does a great job with my brows. I really don't understand the low rating, they have always been great. read more

I went to Deeva Salon to get my eyebrows and upper lips done. This was my first visit to Deeva and when I entered and asked that could you please wear a mask and lady said no we do not wear mask here and we do not have a mask, I even told her that am expecting, anyway she didn't wear a mask. I asked her to do my eyebrows and will skip upper lips because of her not wearing mask. Then I saw her putting thread in her mouth whole time while doing my eyebrows, at the end I asked her that do not you think it is unhygienic because you are holding thread inside your mouth and doing the eyebrows she told me that is how we do it and have been doing like this for last 6 years and only during 1 year of covid we avoided it otherwise that is how we do it. At the end I told her to please think about it and maintain at least basic hygiene. Last, she did not put any cream or anything on my eyebrows after doing it and I saw there was one cut on my eyebrow and she did not inform me. It is not just about covid but HYGIENE IS REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I like this place. Nice staff, great eyebrow work and fair prices. I don't know how it got a 2.5 stars! This place is not a flashy salon but you never have to wait long there and they always managed to keep me and my daughter happy with their work. read more

Is it possible to give zeros stars or rather rate negative stars because this is what this place deserves.. The service is worse than horrible. I had come here for threading and haircut. First she didn't hear what I said and kept arguing that I only said threading. Well that was not the worst part. I told her that I wear contacts and need the threading slowly, she didn't even hear that.. I was literally in tears.. And while I was wiping off those, she wanted me to pay.. I mean that was the heights!! And when I told her I needed a minute, she actually said she had other customers waiting... Ms. Ruby, I hope this is not the kind of business you wanted to run.. This is the worst service ever. My suggestion, don't even step in, in your best day, they'll send you out in tears. read more

I was new to the area and was looking for an eyebrow threading place. I was excited to find a place that was so cheap, but I should have gone elsewhere and paid more. Not worth paying less for having horrible eyebrows for a few days. I called ahead of time and said I wanted an appointment for eyebrow threading and was told it is first come first serve and that you can't make an appointment. I asked how late they were open for the day and mentioned that I would stop by in 15 minutes. When I arrive, the receptionist (to whom I had spoke to on the phone) said, "We are not taking anymore people for eyebrows today." And then just looked back at her screen and didn't say sorry, didn't ask me to come back tomorrow morning, or anything. First of all, she could have just told me on the phone that they likely wouldn't be able to fit me in for the day. Second of all, she could have been nice about the fact that they couldn't fit me in today but that perhaps I could stop by again tomorrow. I went back the next day and was seen a few minutes after I arrived. The lady that did my brows didn't seem to understand me, I don't even know if she spoke English. She hastily threaded my brows and then handed me a mirror to check out her work. I was shocked at how uneven and thin my brows looked and didn't know how they could be fixed. I ended up having to let my brows grow out and then go elsewhere to have them shaped properly. read more

ok i was double minded after reading the reviews...however thought i would try it. Yes, they dont come across that friendly greeting their customers is probably not a strenght for them, i went for waxing they did a great job. Very reasonable and for sure i would go back and have referred numerous people. read more

This place is what nightmares are made of, had gone for hair-cut along with a friend and got the worst haircut of my life. It was all uneven and choppy without any shape although I made it very clear what I wanted and the hairdresser seemed to understand. The hairdresser had very shaky hands and that made things worse (not sure if she was not well that day) I would have appreciated if the people who manage this place gave her some rest and told some other hairdresser to do my hairs. The salon is best avoided and even though its relatively cheap its still not worth the mental agony of a poor and uneven haircut. A BIG SKIP AND THUMBS DOWN!!! Go and spend some more and get a proper haircut, I cant wait for my hairs to grow up :'( read more

will not recommend to anyone. I am new to the area and was looking for a eyebrow threading place. The service was quick and the middle aged lady was assigned for my work. She was in such a hurry that she left almost half forehead at random places. She looked in a hurry and at the end i realized she wanted to go and have some rest. I did not like the service at all here. worst place that i have been to for my threading. read more

Horrible place ! I went there for henna and she put color ! I realized it while washing It's sort of cheating customers ! They charged 30$ for a dollar color :( read more

I like going to this place. The staff is friendly and service is efficient. Keep up the good work guys

This review is for their threading services. Be ready to pay more than what is advertised on their website. I paid $24 for face & brow threading and according to the advertised price it's $20 for this service (the price is very reasonable don't get me wrong but it's the principal of running a honest business) I think she had a walk-in client after me because it seem like she was rushing to finish with me even though I had an appointment. When I got home I notice a few hair on the side of my face was not removed. Not totally impressed with their threading services and business ethics. Also the stylist that was next booth to me was fully engaged in a breast feeding conversation with her client... WTH!!! Not appropriate when there is a man and a child waiting in the lobby area!!! read more

I went to Deeva salon as I got an immediate appointment on that day. Their service was average . I wanted to do a temp straightening ( ironing). I did a hair wash at home before I went there . I asked them how much would they charge before they started and she was like they would charge additional money to dry the hair as it was wet. I wasn't too happy but I had no option..after the service My hair became very dry the next day. I did not really feel good about that and washed off the next day read more

I've been coming here to get my eyebrows threaded for over four years. Excellent service is standard each visit at such a awesome cost! The ladies here are super nice too, so as a guy receiving the service I don't go anywhere else. read more

Extremely arrogant staff. Refused to serve us even when we reached half an hour before closing time. More bothered about closing hours than serving customers. Started sweeping the floor while we were sitting there. Make you feel as if they are doing us a favour. Won't go back. read more

Worst place for threading, they don't listen to you when you tell them to only take off extras and then argue with you if you mention to them that they made your eyebrows too thin. Worst customer care ever. Go to QT Salon instead. read more

Not a bad salon, but has really really racist and prejudiced staff. The lady ruby here treats us as though we are trash just because we are Pakistani. She takes in other walk ins before us and claims "they have an appointment" even though they clearly don't and we've been waiting for over 30 mins. So incredibly rude. First of all sweetie, you have food in your mouth because people like us pay you. Know your place in the world because you're not above us. Not at all. And if anyone should be treated like trash, it's prejudiced people like you. read more

Deeva salon is the best threading and waxing salon that I have been to! I go to school in New York, and whenever I come back to Seattle, I ALWAYS get my eyebrows done here. No one else does them better. There is a reason the salon is always filled with customers. I don't know why there are poor reviews. This place is always packed, the employees are super friendly, and the price is great. I honestly have never had anyone do my eyebrows better than the employees at Deeva. This place is a lucky find in Seattle. We found out about Deeva by word of mouth. I recommend 100 % read more

Deeva Salon - I come here all the time! I love Deeva salon, and I have not found anywhere else that's better. My eyebrows done by Deeva... - Hair Salons Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

I love Ruby!! She is amazing at her work. Perfectionist. Love how she makes my brows and waxes my upper lips perfectly too.

This is my go to salon for my eyebrows, both waxing and threading! Very attentive to what I need and always willing to go the extra mile

Go to this place only if you really cant make it to a better place - especially for threading. I got my threading done recently and who ever did it - did a very sloppy job...She arch-shaped one of my eyebrows and round-shaped the other one and when I politely pointed out the same, she did not even respond back with a sorry as a courtesy...I had a very similar experience to what most others have pointed to here - they are absolutely non-responsive to criticisms and unapologetic...For the same price, I have gotten much better service at other salons.. read more

I came here to get my eyebrows done today. The lady was fast and didn't make it hurt that much. I have a very low pain threshold for threading my upper lips and she did an amazing job. Thanks deeva salon. Will definitely be coming here again. read more

They advertise that they are open from 11a.m to 8.p.m on weekdays. I went to the salon at 11.30 this morning, and told the receptionist that I would like go get my eyebrows and upper lips done. Her response, "she (the lady who does eyebrows) won't be here until 2.00p.m". I asked her if there is anyone else who can help me. She said there is only one person who does eyebrows, and he won't be at the parlor before 2.00p.m. This jus shows how much they care about their customers and how professional they are. I had tried to book an appointment via there website for eyebrows a couple of months back, but they don't take appointments just for eyebrows. We just have to show up, and wait in the line. So, this time, instead of calling for an appointment, I just showed up, to find out that I will have to be back at 2.00 (i.e. if I want my eyebrows done at Deeva). WASTE OF TIME. As someone said in an earlier review, go here ONLY if you run out of your options. read more

Went there today to get my eyebrows done. The lady literally injured my eyelids. Moreover, she did not care to ask if I wanted my eyebrows as thin as she made them. I also got my upper lips done (which i now repent) - the salon lady did not care to do it properly. I told her 4 times to do upper lips and eyebrows properly by showing her the spots which she did not go over. I will never go there again. Please save your time and don't get lured by cheap rates. They are not worth even their cheap rates. read more

I was new to the town and had gone to this salon around 2 weeks back with my friend. We were there to get our eyebrows threaded. Both of us had a bad experience with the lady who attended us. She was somewhere in her 40's(or even older) & I do not know her name(never bothered to ask). She has a serious attitude problem and was so RUDE, never bothered to attend my request. Having said that, I thought the service was OK until i came home to see cuts/bruises on both of my eyelids and cheeks(forgot to click a pic). Will not recommend this place. read more

RUDE STAFF! I went last week for the haircut. It was my first experience getting a hair cut with them. MARIA was my stylist. She has communication issues, she can't understand English. But, that is still okay, the problem is with her attitude, she is super RUDE. read more

They like to waste people's time. I called to take an appointment and was told I didn't need to cause there was 0 wait time. Came back after 15 mins to be told that there are 2 more people waiting in line before me. Come here if you are prepared to waste your time. read more

Worst hairstylist- Maria i am a regular to Deeva Salon for threading and i am happy with their service. But i made the worst decision of getting a haircut from this place. Their hairstylist 'Maria' chopped off my hair by 3-4 inches when all i asked was a trim. She does not listen/ understand what a customer is saying and is too arrogant to admit her mistake. read more

They keep changing rates every month? $5 for a regular shampoo wash?? Not going to visit them again...

Very unprofessional: I was 15 mins late for the appointment and the lady refused to take me for my appointment. In the past , I have waited past my appointment because they got late and today she bluntly refused . Very very rude behavior... will never come back here again . read more

I was new to the neighborhood, went to have my little girls hair cut. Maria was the stylist. She speaks little english. I told her I wanted a bob cut and not too short. But she started to make uneven layer and with big drop between layers on one side, I did see the skin under the hair on one side. At one point my kids hair looked like a wet rooster's feathers. When I started to point out, the owner asked another stylist to correct. My poor girl walked in with hair touching her shoulders came out having a skinny boyish hair cut. My girl was so upset that all the girls and boys in her class will make fun of her. Pros : They have an airplane kids chair. They gave 50% (not sure because of the screw up) Cons : Zero Customer service, Owner never gave any apology, was commanding the staff and added she gave the same hair style to her niece. read more
