I cannot recommend this place enough, it's truly my favorite place for self care.

I reluctantly began my search for a new waxer when I happened to find that she is now at the Redmond EWC location! The person who waxed me was very kind and made great conversation. I truly have nothing bad to say…read moreabout the actual waxing experience itself, it was comfortable and professional. However, I did not have a good experience afterward. Additional services were offered to me without it being clearly explained that there would be an extra charge attached. I was also given wipes that I was told were free, but when I got to the counter, I was told I had to pay for them. I felt like I was being charged more without my clear consent or understanding. The front desk staff was not very kind or welcoming during checkout. I was made to feel embarrassed for not knowing that two extra waxing strips would cost an additional $22, and that the travel-size wipes were $13 after being told they were free. I left feeling uncomfortable, embarrassed, and like I wasn't treated very well by the front desk. While I appreciated the kindness of the person who provided the service, the checkout experience really impacted how I felt leaving the appointment. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

My experience here was absolutely terrible. The person who performed my facial hair removal was…read moreextremely rude and rough throughout the entire appointment. She repeatedly pulled and pushed my face forcefully to move my head instead of communicating with me politely and handling me with care. Her attitude and rough movements made me feel as though she was treating me with anger rather than professionalism. She also burped in front of me during the service, which I found extremely unprofessional. She was whispering things in her language while attending to me, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. To make matters worse, she left my face covered in hair, did not properly clean my skin, and did not even offer me a tissue to wipe my face. My skin was left horribly irritated, and she did not offer aloe vera or any soothing product to help calm the irritation. The entire experience felt careless, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy, gentleness, and professionalism, especially during a facial service. I paid for a service and left feeling uncomfortable, poorly treated, and extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this place based on my experience. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses the way customers are treated.

This establishment has horrific customer service. It is not about the price it is about principle,…read moretransparency, and basic respect. Their service takes less than five minutes, yet they treat it like a corporate dispute to mask their own failure. On my first visit, I called ahead and was quoted $10.00 for a child's eyebrow waxing. I was never told about card fees, yet when I tried to pay cash, they suddenly tacked on an additional fee, claiming it was "because of waxing." They later claimed the $10.00 rate was only for threading, yet I explicitly asked for waxing on the phone. My family doesn't even use threading. Customers deserve transparent pricing before a service, not a guessing game after the fact. On my second visit, the same worker tried to make up for her mistake and explicitly told me I did not need to pay. I asked her at least FIVE times if she was sure because I was completely ready to pay. She insisted, "Don't worry about it; it's ok." The situation became disturbing when I returned for a third visit with my children. I was completely ambushed and told I had to pay for the previous visit because the owner was now upset with that employee. An internal management dispute is not my responsibility. Customers should never be caught in the middle of employee-owner disagreements--do not make the customer feel uncomfortable or responsible for your failure of operational alignment. Professional businesses stand behind what their workers tell customers. They do not alter prices after the fact or change rules depending on who is upset that day. There is no language barrier on my part, perhaps on theirs. I understand the difference between the words waxing and threading perfectly. This business needs to learn that in America THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!

I am a true believer in PT but in this case, PT didn't help. My hamstring muscles were very tight, I could not get them to relax even with PT exercises. At that time, a friend suggested getting a massage and referred me to Yukiko Halvorson. At my first massage appointment with Yukiko, she worked on my hamstrings. With deep tissue massage, Yukiko, worked magic on my hamstrings and got them to relax for the first time in many weeks. I started out receiving one hour massages and have now worked up to 2 hour massages once a month. Yukiko is located in downtown Bellevue, one block north of Main Street in Old Bellevue. She has a parking spot reserved up front for her clients. Since moving to this new space (Namaste Healing Spa), Yukiko has incorporated hot stones into her massages. Combining deep tissue massage and hot stones really helps to relax my muscles. I highly recommend Yukiko Halvorson.

Final update! I went back and they kindly redid them. I…read morethink her name was Crystal. She did such a great job, my birthday nails look great! She took it all off, trimmed my natural nails and cuticles, offered to change color/shape/length but I kept the color and did just a little longer. They look so much better. I left out on star for having to come back but it would be 5 stars if I got this set first Original review: I won't be coming back. I asked for chrome on wine red gel x extensions and I got that. But she didn't do my cuticles, didn't trim my natural nails, flooded the gel on some nails including some free edges, most nails there's also gaps in the gel. So it will definitely lift soon But context: she looked like the youngest and most inexperienced out of all the nail techs. Most other nail techs were taken when I arrived and I was the last customer to finish and leave. She was quiet and nice but she went straight in with the e-file. Matched the right size extensions, filed those a little, then gel-ed them on right away. Granted I have pretty good cuticles but I would've liked them cleaned up a bit. The gel flooded out some sides and tips. She just e-filed them down. I was the last one there and some of the nail techs were leaving already. And what was I supposed to do, stop her and make her start again with my natural nails and cuticles after she already badly gel-ed the extensions on? Plus make her stay even later? After leaving I checked and I can straight up see in between my natural nail and the extensions I paid $80 + tip so under $95 total. Just checked and online said $60 for gel x but not sure because I got medium tips and chrome powder
