I wanted to send my daughter a custom pecan gift package, so I stopped by Dees Pecan Company in Union Church in Grand Bay. Just stepping inside the door smelled heavenly, with aromatic coffee and spices wafting throughout as you shop. There was a steady stream of customers and phone calls for those of us doing our Christmas shopping. There were probably a few tourists, too, as Dees Pecans is a well-known destination for perfect pecans, pecan pies, candies, marinades, and other homemade treats. I checked the website and learned about the basic offerings, but once inside, I found out the storefront had so much more available. I ordered a Chocolate Pecan Pie, which Dees can ship in a custom tin to safeguard the pie to reach its destination. I added Dark Chocolate Pecans, Roasted and Salted Pecans, and another favorite, the Pecan Pie in a Jar. Lastly, I bought Key Lime Pecans and Cinnamon Pecans - two delicious powdered flavors! Everyone at Dee's was friendly and helpful in explaining the different flavors of pecans and coffee. The order went smoothly, and the Chocolate Pecan Pie and other items are expected to ship soon. My daughter and her husband will enjoy a taste of Dees Pecans to remind them of Alabama and home. I look forward to the next occasion and time I visit Dees Pecan Company. read more

Stopped by again for our yearly, vacation visit. I purchased praline pecans, pecan butter, carmel turtles, peacan pies and watermelon jelly. Most to eat on the way home and the rest to give as gifts. The service is outstanding and the prices are reasonable considering inflation - please thank joe biden. These folks have the best pecans. Their pralines too. Their some of the nicest folks. I would stop and chat, with the old man, on the way to the truck stop. That was 30 years ago. Dees Pecan Company So I'm visiting a friend and on my drive to his house I see this place with an old army jeep sitting outside. I look over at my Bride and she knows the look, U-turn time. I park and pop in and the first thing that comes to you is the aroma of the pecans in the air. A country style store with waived baskets filled with all kind of goodies. I take a few more steps and what catches my eye are some coffee decanters and in front of one of them I see a little tent sign that says "Tipsy Pecan Pie roasted with our pecans and a smooth Tennessee Whiskey". Need I say anything more! Before I even try it, I have a bag of it in my hand, okay so two bags. The flavor is deep rooted in coffee with a base coat of bourbon. I still order this coffee vie mail order and from the time it starts brewing to the time it hits my lips all I think about is a lazy peaceful morning overlooking a quite stream. They also have a Butter Pecan that is roasted with pecans and real butter. Makes you brew a pot of this whether your drink coffee or not...It has an enormous aroma and a rich tempting taste. They also have all kinds of Candy, Pecans, Gourmet Coffee, Pies & Baked Goods, Pecan Oil, Pecan Syrup, Honey Butter & Preserves, Sugar Free Treats, Sauces, Spices, Marinades, Pecan Gifts, Specialty Cakes and Savory Snacks We picked up 2 bags of Tipsy Pecan Pie Coffee, 1 Chocolate Pecan Pie and a few Sauces, Spices, Marinades. Loved all of them, it is a shame the place itself is not close to us. Walking in was great. We still order the coffee and a few of the other items.
