We went to The Lazy Oak because of the good reviews, and it definitely lived up to the small-town…read morecharm we were hoping for. When we got there, it seemed crowded, with people sitting both on the front porch and inside, but we were seated quickly. The staff was incredibly sweet and made the whole place feel very warm, welcoming, and family-like. We ordered the bacon appetizer, and the plate was completely cleaned off. It was so good. We both ordered biscuit sandwiches, and the biscuits were huge, just like you can see in the picture. They were so big that we both ended up taking the tops off and just eating the rest with the bottom biscuit, egg, and everything else. Even with that, the food was still really good. Overall, it was a great experience. This is exactly the kind of little-town spot I love to visit, especially on a quiet morning.

They have plenty of parking and tons of seating both inside and outside, so finding a spot is never an issue. The service was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. It was a bit cold inside, but I imagine that's intentional for when the crowds pick up. The bathrooms could use a little extra attention, but honestly, the food more than makes up for it. The portions are huge, meals are around $14 and more than enough to take home leftovers. The prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Overall, a great spot with great value!

No changes in the set meal. People were complaining and walking out. Manager arrogantly stated they put that on FB. Really. Don't follow you and reservations made at restaurant so why would anyone know. This guy in charge was rude. Crude. Unattractive and basically a jerk. People dressed to the 10 th were ushering out. Can't trust this place. Go elsewhere.

First thing when I walked in the door, that's what I heard. I should've turned around and walked out right there. The hummus was without flavor, but I'm used to fresh robust flavors in my authentic hummus. The pita was clearly left on the counter without being covered and so it was chewy, stale, reminiscent of a dog eating a rawhide and not edible. Hard pass. Even though our server was very pleasant, there was extreme inconsistencies coming from the kitchen that could not be resolved. With the owner sitting at the front table and the daughter at the front desk, there was clearly a sense of tenseness throughout the establishment. After being in the Mediterranean myself, this is not a Mediterranean restaurant and it confuses me for it to say Mexican on the menu. I'll try back in another eight years.

Is it even a proper vacation in Biloxi if you don't give this place a visit for breakfast? The answer is NO !! When your motto is It's never too early to get toasted!! You are talking my language and that's how you start a proper vacation day:) We left Alabama in the wee hours of the morning to get here before they opened. We ordered at 7:04 am . A grapefruit mimosa for me and two Irish coffees for my husband and son. My son pretty much gets the same thing everytime an Arnold . This time it was a West coast Arnold w/ hash brown casserole . He ate it up!! I got the Dragon fruit pancakes 2 pc . Man one pancake was plenty and yes they are as big as the plate. Hubbie got the pork chop breakfast . On the 16th (our leave day) I got the (2)Strawberry Hibiscus Spritz and my son got a Cappuccino cooler. Hubs had to drive back home so he just got a coffee. Hubbie got the chicken and waffles , I got the yolk lovers breakfast with cheese grits ( When you are in the South Grits must be eaten at least one meal of the day) and my son got his Southwest Arnold again lol! My son looked at his mug and said I want one . Yes they sell them for 31.99 eek a bit high for my blood but He bought it himself. He has been using it everyday since We got back home. He said He will probably buy another in July. It's a solid breakfast place and enjoyable if you get here before the crowds. By 9 it gets packed quick be an early bird -get toasted -and Have a great start to your vacation!!
