Chocolate donuts tasted really weird. I tried one with and without sprinkles and they tasted the same. Had a chemical taste to it. Very disappointed in those. The apple fritters, donut holes, and cinnamon twists were pretty good, though.

Their donuts and kolaches are so fresh! The dough is so fluffy. Stopped by while doing laundry next door and I'm glad I did because it was a pleasant surprise. Even at 2pm their pastries still taste fresh even though it was slim pickings. read more

The best donuts in Ocean Springs not only are the donuts absolutely amazing. The customer service is outstanding, which means more to me than anything. My kids were delighted and truly astonished how interactive the staff were with them they made them feel comfortable and happy, and all I hear is daddy let's go to simply donuts. read more

Stopped by this morning after hearing new owners taken over this place, and have really turned it around. Enjoyed the donuts (got one of everything almost). Greeted when walked into the door, wonderful service! Didn't try the coffee but definitely will next time! read more

First time trying this little gem out and it didn't disappoint . We were greeted by friendly staff and the atmosphere was nice. I ordered a latte which is made perfectly to preference. If you want stuffed donuts they have a lot of options and fill them right then and there after you pick glazed or sugar. We tried almost every flavor and they're regular donuts as well. Everything was fresh and delicious. If you're a donut and coffee fan don't miss out by not going. read more

Hands down the best donuts we've ever had. They were fluffy and simple in a good way - authentic donuts. We also got a breakfast burrito which was delicious and the ham/cheese kolache. Never had a kolache before. Wished I had ordered a dozen because it was incredible! read more

I love this place! I tried it for the first time today. The blueberry donut was surprisingly sooo fluffy and sweet. The service was great. I didn't get her name but the girl inside was the sweetest! Great customer service! Friendly people; they are also the owners. Boudin colachi was supreme. Apple fritters best I've eaten. Everyone in our group raved about everything I bought. Owner also gave bonus donuts and pastries after everything was paid for. Great experience!! read more

Very cute little shop. Was doing laundry next door and decided to give this place a try. We decided to try a Jalapeño-sausage and cheese Kolache, a chocolate glazed donut, a strawberry filled donut, and a sausage egg and cheese burrito. All were great, the Kolache was my favorite. The owner even threw in some donut holes for free! Great service and breakfast foods. read more

DID NOT LIKE. DONUTS TASTE LIKE CHEMICALS! Let me start off by saying I was so excited to support this little local shop as we just moved here, I am not badmouthing but hoping they'll use review & correct issues. Management please check equipment before mixing. Are you using natural sugars or artificial? Four people so We got 2 blueberry donuts, w 2 regular glazed, 2 chocolate covered, 2 fritters, bag of donut holes, and 2 kolaches to go. Tried a couple of them & spit it out Bc we could not eat them tasting like that it was worrisome tasting like chemicals & def not enjoyable. Blah. We went to Krispy Kreme and got an assorted dozen & they all tasted fine. We won't be going back to Simply Donuts. read more

Though the hours are for the early birds, I finally got a chance to try this place out. The pricing for the items are worth it for the size of the food. Kolaches are the size of hotdogs and were delicious! I had the donut holes and they were divine! They also serve community coffee which is a coffee I grew up on back in Louisiana so definitely will be forcing myself to get up early to get a chance to eat here again! The owners do not rush you and waits patiently for your order. There were samples of donut holes when I got there which I thought was pretty cool as well. read more
