We were scraping the plates clean because everything was so good. This is located right on the beach across from the harbor in Long Beach, in an elevated building that has been a few other restaurants over the years. About 3/4 of it is inside seating with a smaller porch/balcony outdoor part that is also air conditioned when they close all the doors. For starters, we got a dozen grilled oysters that had this excellent garlic butter sauce and cheese added. They were average size as you can expect but much better than what we've gotten from Half Shell the past few times we went. We also got the fried alligator bites which were more tender than any gator I've ever had before, and came with an excellent dipping sauce. I ordered the seafood platter for my meal and couldn't finish it. On top of a large bed of french fries were a bunch of shrimp, oysters, hush puppies, and one large catfish filet that was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the Taste of Acadiana which came with three different cajun staples including gumbo and jambalaya. I sampled some of hers and really liked them all. We went on a Friday night and it wasn't all that busy, but our service was good and they kept our drinks filled. I can't wait to go back!

The seating was also quaint and made the morning relaxing. I got the breakfast biscuit with bbq brisket. The biscuit tasted like it was homemade and it was overal a great way to start my golf outing. My food came out fast. They were bustling but weren't full. Definitely lots of locals coming and going. The servers and staff knew a lot of people personally. I will definitely go back again. One neat thing - they have a cool koi pond outside by the parking lot. Nicely done. The fish are beautiful. Kind of an odd thing to see in the wilds of Mississippi but it was really cool.
