After I left this place this morning I was so upset that I could chew bricks. I went in for a pedicure. I was immediately seated and my feet were put in plain water. She ( the one with the blonde hair).. my feet were in the water for maybe a minute. She had me lift Both feet up on the towel ( its usually one at a time ) she started on my feet before they soaked at all which is why my cuticles started to bleed. After removing the polish,,,She went through the motions of doing my cuticles and then went through the motion of " brushing " the bottom of my feet. She then put the polish on and said she would be back to put the top coat on...gone for about 10 minutes and came back and put the top coat on and in the mean time I asked her why my feet were looking like that ( absolutely dry and polish on the tip of my toe, not the nail, but the toe ) She said. It's dry!!! Not my fault. Maybe your feet ugly she said. I told her she must have ugly feet.. By now I'm fit to be tied. It's about to get real ugly so I walked to the front and waited for her so I could pay but she's at the back talking loudly to other customers, lying that I said that she made my feet ugly. Those words never came from my mouth. I asked why my feet look like this ? I never heard one of them so loud and ghetto before. I left and shopped around in the strip mall. But I didn't have peace. I couldn't get over how this woman had treated me. When I finished I went back. But this time she wanted to talk like she had some sense. I told her she might want to come to the back, cause it's my time. Nothing was resolved and she said tomorrow she would have the manager run the camera back. I'll be there because she totally lied about everything. She didn't have an audience to perform for in the back. You never know their names. But she has her hair dyed blonde. I walked into this establishment and was immediately uncomfortable due to the small space and lack of social distancing. The young lady who try to service me seem to be in her early 20s and was extremely rough with my nails .... very rude didn't apologize when she clearly hurt me made my nail bleed to the point where I got up and left. Mind you. This is the second nail she's damaged I had to tell her to soak off my nails even tho she clearly knows how to service customers. THE WORST NAIL SALON. Actually 0 stars. Every time I go someone gets extremely upset at their HORRIBLE/MEDIOCRE job. I have never had a bad experience, but yesterday it was my turn. I came in with my child and wanted a full set white tip nails for me & pedicures and this is what I got. I got stuck with the rudest/ most unprofessional nail tech (long black hair) who became annoyed and upset after having to replace my pinky nail she left smaller than the rest, and filing all nine of my other fingers since she didn't want to fix my over filed,crooked/thin thumbnail. She then had the audacity to get mad at me for letting her know the white tip was not even on any of my nails, and got mad my pinky went into the UV light right as I was noticing the disgusting job she continued to do. She then wanted to blame me for not checking them before putting them in! (I had told her nicely to fix them 3 times by then!) She also had the nerve to ask me if "I wanted to just go somewhere else to get them fixed". She expected me to pay $60 claiming this was a "design". I was then kicked to the curb for roughly 30 minutes, until finally someone else decided to get them "fixed", but only made them far worse! This other person (light brown hair/glasses) made an annoyed gesture with me about 4 times, and gossiped away on her earphone about me the whole entire time. I asked her to simply add a pink polish since they could not paint a white tip...but she ignored my request and proceeded to paint them white and left them even more HORRIBLE! I was charged $97 in total for this waste of my time and bad experience. Not to mention there was a client there laughing about the situation and being extremely rude as well because I was "cutting into her time" (because of their mistakes). I was there for more than 3 hours for this horrendous work and to l! On today 12/17/21 my daughter treated me to a full set and pedicure. Everything started out great, I mean between being patient while the main lady ("Hannah") bounced between customers. Normally this wouldn't be an issue for me. I sat patiently as she would stop doing my nails to do whatever else. After 1.5 hours my nails were in even and messy. I asked her to redo the jeweled nails because they were unevenly acrylic. She got so irritated at my request that she ripped the nails off cut my nail bed in my both nails. The left bled for 10 mins she still attempts to put new jewels on it. While BLEEDING!!!! At this point I am crying, telling her the first order of customer service is empathy or understanding, to take a moment to listen. She refused, she argued me down. No one in the job wanted to fix my nails, and I was disgruntled or aggressive (they love to say it's us). She refused a refund she refused to redo my nails. After no resolve and many tears now, I decide to leave. My daughter irritated and requesting her money back. Again she refused. You cut me 2 times and show no remorse, no concern and can't give my money back?!?! Ok bet My daughter paid before I was done, she has history with "Hannah." She left them $30 tip!! I went here yesterday and it was an awful experience from the get go. I let the lady who checked me in know what I wanted and she said okay and to have a seat. There was a guy who came from the back and than sat down chilling for like 10 mins before he even decided that he was going to do my nails. Once he started doing my nails he didn't cut them down or make them even at all like I had asked. He also did dip when I asked for acrylic overlay on my nails. Came here by mistake, but the reviews don't serve them justice--at least in 2016. The place is tucked away in a shopping center without signage by the road to draw you in a look for it. The red bricked shopping center is also makes it harder to decipher each separate business. For some reason, I thought Humble Nails was here, which has a solid 4 stars. Upon entering, it was pretty busy on a Friday afternoon, so I thought I was in the right place. I was asked what I wanted by the receptionist who was very friendly, but didn't know much English when I asked about the different pedicures they offered and what each included. I just told her the basic $15 pedi and figured I could always get a higher package once I talked to my pedicurist. I had a hard time choosing colors because most of then weren't brands I've used before-- more off brand. But for $15 what ya expect? I just needed my claws to be cut down scuffed off a little and colored to be presentable. Everyone I saw was very friendly. The lady assigned to me, Ms. Laura, was very friendly, sweet and fluent in understanding English. Only a few phrases were inaudible or hard for me to understand, but I liked talking to her. We actually had a nice conversation. I like talking to people, so it didn't bother me to chat with her, but I know some people don't. However, if you prefer not to talk during your pedi, I think she'd understand that too. She took her time and was able to explain the pedi packages. Decided to go with the $20 pedi which included a scrub and hot towel. The scrub was nice but I could honestly do that at home as well as the hot towel draped on top of my feet, but after an injury, it felt nice to have somebody scrub and rub my feet. Once more, I got a pretty good massage to my back that has been aching here and there the past couple of days, so a massage and a decent pedi is a score.for $20. Although it wasn't my problem, there isn't much room for the pedicurist to maneuver while at the pedi pool. They only had two people in the back and they kept having to switch positions and work the clients feet from the side to avoid colliding with one another. Just use pedi pools on the same side of the room right? Again not my problem so long as my nails are cut straight and my pedi doesn't get smeared! I picked out three colors and asked Laura for her advice on which one could go better with my current manicure. We chose a color and thought about putting a glittery color over it, but the base color looked fine by itself and Laura agreed. I walked away with some seriously needed r and r and pretty feet! It wasn't until I was waiting for my nails to dry and I checked in on Yelp that I realized I was not at Humble Nails and went to a place with subpar stars. I'm glad I did! The only drawback, I saw flies zipping around more than one time. I'll give you one, but two or three? It's a little of a distraction. As a licensed cosmetologist, I'm very careful in choosing nail salons being that most don't follow protocol. My first time here wasn't so bad, they were, for the most part, clean and did a decent job. However, my second time was HORRIBLE! They first cut her toe and then had every toenail cut at different lengths and I also paid for the French pedicure but all the toes were painted with different thickness on each toe. I wish I had looked at reviews prior to coming here. I would have turned right back around and left before letting this place touch my nails. I'm new to the area so my mom and I went to the place closest to us. I asked for a shellac manicure and she did a decent job painting my nails, that's about it. All of the tools she used looked old and when it came to trimming my cuticles and dried skin around my nail beds I had to ask her to get a clean tool. That's not only unsanitary, but unacceptable. This place doesn't care about the safety of their customers, which is not okay. I watched my nail technician toss the tools into her little caddy after she was done doing my nails and walk them over to a woman getting a pedicure where she used them on that customers feet without sanitizing them. Aren't these places required to take certain sanitary measures? If so, they're not. There's a sanitizer in the shop, but I've yet to see anyone take tools out of it or put tools into it. My friends and I made an appointment and when we arrived only one person was available. We all got pedicures and one of my two friends finished a solid 30 minutes before I was even attended to. We spent most of the time sitting in barely lukewarm water waiting. The woman who did my pedicure was trying her very best to manage the entire store so I don't fault her. If I did not make an appointment I wouldn't have blamed the establishment, but we did and we specified that all three of us wanted pedicures, yet we all sat around and finished at vastly different times. read more

Got a full set put on. It was low quality work, rushed, and uneven. I even specifically said that I don't want it thick, yet he continued to glob on the acrylic. So then I said, please file it thinner, and he did but not enough. I will upload pictures of the work. It was just terrible. Their color selection was not very good and they are using Jordana/cheaper nail polishes. This cheap approach showed in their work as well. The employees are nice but I was hurried out of there not caring that I would be stuck with the nail work they did on me, if it was just nail polish I would have been happier, but have you ever tried dealing with acrylic nails on your own? I used to go this nail shop a lot about 3 to4 years ago. I went recently because I was in the area. I needed to take my current nails off and receiver a overlay since I was going back to work. I guess they have new people working there because this young man greeted me and starting doing my nails. I told him that I wanted to keep my nature nail length and just get a overlay. This place is like a filthy restaurant. About the nail refills. There is very little choice in colors and the bottles are dried up. The manicurist didn't file off the edges of the original color, I had to point it out twice. She didn't ask me if I wanted them cut down so I stopped her before she put the powder on. She saw I had square round, but she gave me square anyway. She didn't have enough tools and borrowed from the manicurist next to her. When I went to the back to wash my hands before the polish, there were live roaches on the floor and one crawled across the sink. I looked down and saw the wallpaper had torn off toward the floor and could see black mold on the wall and baseboard. As I looked around while drying my hands I could see how disgustingly filthy the floors, walls and appliances were. My saving grace is she poured alcohol over my hands several times, but it burned like hell because she nicked every finger with her rotating file. Thank God I didn't want a pedicure today. I went with my sisters and we weren't even greeted just " what do you want" so it was kind of busy and there were only 2 people so we were willing to wait. My sister got attended first And the lady was super nice to her helping her pick pit the colors, next was me and my other sister, i wanted matte and they didn't have it, the lady was insisting i got my nails done there although it was closing and since there was a sally's by there i went to go buy nail polish, my sister asked the lady if i bought it would she apply it and she seemed bothered, when i asked her which one i should buy she said she didn't know with an attitude so i didn't want to get them done there, when i came back i told my sister and the lady kept insisting. She started doing my nails but hadn't yet finished her other customer so she was going back and forward. I told her i wanted oval nails and showed her a picture and she screamed at me telling me it was squared and next time i should say squared. Then she started doing my nails so aggressively and kept going back an forward again. I picked the color and told her i wanted diamonds and showed her a picture of how and she got a call so completely ruined my nails ! They close at 7 and it was 9 and she was still taking customers! So she left me in the chair and went to go attend them , i had to tell her to put me under the light. This was the worst experience ever ! This place should be shut down. When i payed her she saw how poor the job was and she was like is that fine ? Of course it wasn't I payed 35$ for the worst nail job I've ever had ! I like the job done on my grungy feet. I go in Friday nights when their posted closing time is 8, but we didn't finish till 9:30. They didn't lock the doors, so I ran a few errands and was able to return and get service. First time I got the deluxe pedi. ($40) and I know that the paraffin and the foot massge was worth it. Next, I went with the regular $15 pedi and I was satisfied with the truncated massage. I don't wax my brows (I thread down the block at Veva's) but I have seen them produce nice results on others for $5. Good price, nice people, there is a bit of a English as a second language gap with certain people, but overall a good experience I would recommend to my friends. read more
