Beautiful work I came in for a fill and a pedicure and got charged 162 for a FILL was my first and last time visiting it's a "add on " to trim your cuticles but they don't tell you ahead of time got charged for length for a refill even though it's the length I came in with but because they have to apply acrylic to the whole nail they consider that additional length and sweet techs I was in and out however my cuticles were bleeding in some spots besides that overall good work they just try to nickel and dime you here. read more

I had a regular nail and pedicure and it was 92. Bucks and change. Nothing fancy the bare minimum, no shalack nor design. The cheapest I could get. Plus they charge 1.75 fee for using a credit card. They are ridiculously high. I've been to several nail salons and this by far is too expensive. I no longer will go there. My friend recommended her nail salon in Kingwood and will start going there. It's definitely the prices and services that are terrible. Apparently, I was charged for a full set yesterday but you can clearly see the "fill" lines. I've given this place more than 3 chances. It's always me having to go back the second time to fix what I couldn't see in the buildings lights or just inconsistent jobs. I'm still trying to gather why I'd have to pay for French tips when some acrylic nails actually come with French tips. The prices are unfair & now I'm understanding why it's always so empty. I spent $91 on french tips on my own nails & 2 designs. I didn't even ask for the extra design of gems. I could apply my own gems for 90% less of the cost. Came back a second time a paid an additional $20 because the girl didn't shape my nails at all and the gems she applied were way too big (because she was struggling to search for small ones amongst a big container.) I removed them on my thumbs the second day too. 3.5 hours of my time for something I considered simple. The first girl who used to work here, would have me in and out in no time and knew her products well. I understand why she left..her services are meeting past the expectation of this place. For the pedicure, they a teenager who didn't know much doing it. he cut me several times when clipping my cuticles and also could not paint my toenails properly nor could he do the flower design that I wanted to do. Then comes his brother who was doing mine manicure and kept trying to get me to do different things to try to he did not do a good job at all on my manicure the edges around were chipped and not smooth, and I could only get one of my flower designs on my finger because he cannot do it again. and at the time to pay, he still tried to charge me for both fingers, even though he couldn't do both designs on both fingers or toes today when I went. I've been in a couple times. It was alright. They are a bit over priced for the area. This last time , is the last time I will come back here. I was brought back to a station that wasn't sanitized or set up. I sat there for 5 mins waiting for someone. One of their nail techs looked homeless. The way she was dressed I thought she was the janitor. The tech was rude, impatient, and didn't follow instructions. For the cost of a $32 pedicure, I should be able to have an accent nail if I choose to have 1 nail painted a different color. The tech was in such a hurry she didn't listen to what I wanted, and when I repeated myself she got short with me. There are too many decently priced mediocre salons in the area that do a much better job than Bijou, and the staff doesn't look like rude homeless people in a want to be high end nail salon. She purposely jacked the price up and it stunned the two at the front desk that rang up the charges. Their reaction to the charges was tell telling, it was obvious what was going on, but they went along with it.
