When I arrived all of the young ladies were very helpful and knowledgeable about a lot of the products. This store is huge, well stocked, clean, and has everything from sandals to wigs. The prices were either normal or cheaper than most beauty supply stores. I noticed my edge control that I get at my normal beauty supply store was 2 dollars more than at UBS8 and my nose ring was also a dollar cheaper here. I will definitely be coming back. Ps. Barbie's favourite makeup store is also my favourite makeup store, and we come to these whenever we can. Barbie finds a lot of great stuff at good prices, or okay prices, although sometimes it's overpriced it depends on the stuff. A lot of employees are really nice, although that's not always the case. One of the best things about these stores is that Barbie finds a lot of friends who have the same kind of glamorous beauty queen makeup as she does, which obviously is a big attraction for her. Whichever way you look at it these are really really great places to come for makeup. This one is a brand new store way out in the northeast of Houston, in an area that we don't usually go to, but we still love the store and we'll still keep coming here whenever we're in this corner of town.

I had to part my own hair, and after washing it she told me she couldn't provide a blowout because my hair is curly. She spoke with a manager and came back basically saying there was nothing she could do. I asked two other stylists if anyone else was available, and both said no without asking what the issue was or offering help. When I went to the front to pay, the manager was very kind and went to check with the stylists again. She returned with ALONA, one of the stylists I had spoken to earlier. ALONA was extremely rude and had the worst customer service. She insisted that what I wanted was a silk press, not a blowout. I explained that I knew exactly what I wanted, and it was a blowout. ALONA continued going back and forth with me, speaking in a belittling tone, as she is much much older than I am, claiming a blowout couldn't be done on my hair even though I've had it done many times before. She still demanded I pay for the wash, even though it was part of a service that was never completed due to a stylist's lack of expertise. As a frequent visitor, Alona's attitude and lack of professionalism may keep me from ever returning.

Exchange within 7 days so day 0 would be the 19th. And day 20 would be Day 1 so the 26th would be Day 7. The manager refused to exchange the shirt and mace spray I bought on the 19th so I do not buy from this store anymore since they did not have a sign around clothes about returning within a day. I was returning within a week but manager does not know how to read a calandra.
