Huge fan of this place. I got the cowboy roll and downtown roll and they were both soooo delicious. I feel like I could've eaten a whole other roll of each. Couldn't get enough! Ambiance inside was cool, they had Spanish music performances showing on one wall via projector. read more

I'm usually picky about sushi but I really enjoyed the sushi here. The sushi taco was so good, definitely will be getting more next time we come back. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the restaurant has low light and almost a lounge vibe which almost feels like you're getting a break from the busy atmosphere outside the restaurant. read more

honestly super expensive and our food took a long time to come out. The food is okay but my friend and I both had blonde hair in our dishes. When I showed staff the guy processed to take my plate to the back with no explanation. No offer to remake or maybe take it off our tab and then came back a few seconds later to tell me that no one in the back has blonde hair... mind u me and my friend have dark hair and the waitress had blond hair lol. Not to say it was her but I mean if we narrow down suspects here lol. I had to tell the waitress that he took my plate without telling me anything so she took the taco off the tab. Anyways I wouldn't go back but that's just my experience (:. read more

I am never the one to complain, but spent $16 on a shaggy dog and it was not good at all and they couldn't even give me wasabi I ended up just throwing it away. read more

Small place quick service it was empty only 1 table busy at the time I went . The ambiance they had some background music Spanish good vibe . The food is pretty damn good the downside is I couldn't drink my water when I ordered it because if I drink it to fast I'll have to pay for another one that's a huge down side for anyone that drinks a lot of water don't come here or you're going to pay for every water . The sushi boat they have on the menu is about $62 for the price just pick your own sushi it comes out to the same or a bit more but you get what you want . Oh they only offer bottled drinks so any drink you get you'll pay for another bottle as well . The sushi was great I'd highly recommend the raw sushi vs the cooked sushi the cooked sushi was a little too fried and some had a heavy amount of cream cheese , the raw sushi was the best . I've attached photos and the receipt to what I ordered. Definitely worth checking out it's a small place in a shopping the center read more

Love this gem! It's a little hole in the wall but let's be real, those can be the best. I always do pick-up but the indoor vibe is so cute! I wanted to leave a review because they also helped me out when I was having issues with contactless payment. Even though it was time for them to close for lunch they found a way to get it to work and I got everything I ordered! Which was a good amount. We got the gyoza, crab puffs, Japanese soup, fire roll, and Japan roll. I also love jasmine tea so I got that. Everything I've tried is great!! Well priced in my opinion, no complaints. Everything was correct in the order, and nothing tasted fishy (in the bad way.) I'm sure it's even better when you're eating it fresh at the restaurant instead of half an hour later. Try it!! read more

Small, quiet restaurant with nice food. I ordered a Crab Puff appetizer and really appreciated the perfect ratio of cream cheese to puff. My main entrée was a Shark Attack roll and it was quite flavorful. Overall the restaurant is cute, food tastes good, and they win brownie points for being the only sushi shop open on a Tuesday evening in DP. read more

I do not recommend the calamari. It was tough and tasteless. The rolls were decent. The service was good. I'm guessing the A/C may have been out. It was hot and stuffy. I probably will not return. read more

I wanted to share how deeply disappointed I am that Deer Park Sushi has chosen to make mask wearing optional for customers. I realize that the mask mandate has been lifted by governor abbot however , the pandemic is not over as we all know and millions of lives have been lost world wide due to this deadly virus. I also noticed that the gentleman who make the sushi are also no longer wearing mask which only makes matters even worse for me. I made a pledge to myself and to family and friends who have were diagnosed with the virus that I will not patron any businesses who do not require a face mask for all who enter it's doors including it's employees. I choose to wear a mask to protect myself and those around me. #LoveThyNeighbor read more

Omg this place was amazing the food and the service was outstanding I will definitely go back

The waiter they have now is really good. He's very personable. We go every Thursday and he remembers our drink orders and all that. The sushi rolls are delicious! I love their special on Thursday's. It's 2 rolls and an appetizer for $24.99 The food is excellent, but the service isn't. The waiter wasn't friendly whatsoever. I asked for unsweetened tea with lemon. Never got the lemon and he didn't stop by the table again. Drink cup remained empty. They had a special that we got but he charged us more. Need someone working with a better personality. Again, the food was top not Really impressed!! This place was really good! It wasn't busy at all. It's nicely decorated. The sushi is super delicious!!! The service was excellent. They also have a tv and play music. We will definitely be back! I have no complaint read more

I went during the lunch special which is 11am-3pm. First off this is a seat yourself type Restaurant and has very pretty murals inside. The inside is very clean and spacious. My waiter today took a very long time to get to me even though I saw him just sitting talking to the other waiters and no one was really in the restuarant. However he was very nice when he did come to me. The price is very on point for the lunch specials and when I looked through the menu the prices seemed very good for the amount and quality of fish you get. I got the plate D with shaggy roll as a starter. My meal consisted of 24 pieces of sushi plus 4 shaggy pieces. First the shaggy was wonderful and had become my new favorite roll. The salmon roll was really good and tasted fresh. Now the tuna roll was really chewy and I could have done with less pieces or none of it. The avocado roll was nice and simple and I eat in between the salmon and tuna rolls. I cannot wait to come back and explore more of the menu. read more

Yellowtail nigiri pieces had that great fatty flavor and were very fresh. Enjoyed the taste of every bite. The sushi rice is well seasoned here. The spicy salmon roll was delicious. Sauces come on the side of plate so you can control how much you want. All of the items were crafted nicely without the rice falling apart. Excellent service and friendly staff. read more

We stopped in because our usual sushi place was closed and the food was okay. Nothing to rave about and the smell was very overwhelming. Everything is fried and I didn't see many fresh options.
