Small place quick service it was empty only 1 table busy at the time I went . The ambiance they had some background music Spanish good vibe . The food is pretty damn good the downside is I couldn't drink my water when I ordered it because if I drink it to fast I'll have to pay for another one that's a huge down side for anyone that drinks a lot of water don't come here or you're going to pay for every water . The sushi boat they have on the menu is about $62 for the price just pick your own sushi it comes out to the same or a bit more but you get what you want . Oh they only offer bottled drinks so any drink you get you'll pay for another bottle as well . The sushi was great I'd highly recommend the raw sushi vs the cooked sushi the cooked sushi was a little too fried and some had a heavy amount of cream cheese , the raw sushi was the best . Food- Amazing!!!! Really, I'm a huge fan of Raw sushi and I tried the shark attack. It was delicious! Strongly recommend it! I also tried their fan Favorite Avocado Shaggy roll! I wanted to share how deeply disappointed I am that Deer Park Sushi has chosen to make mask wearing optional for customers. I realize that the mask mandate has been lifted by governor abbot however , the pandemic is not over as we all know and millions of lives have been lost world wide due to this deadly virus. I also noticed that the gentleman who make the sushi are also no longer wearing mask which only makes matters even worse for me. I made a pledge to myself and to family and friends who have were diagnosed with the virus that I will not patron any businesses who do not require a face mask for all who enter it's doors including it's employees. The waiter they have now is really good. He's very personable. We go every Thursday and he remembers our drink orders and all that. The sushi rolls are delicious! I love their special on Thursday's. It's 2 rolls and an appetizer for $24.99 The food is excellent, but the service isn't. The waiter wasn't friendly whatsoever. I asked for unsweetened tea with lemon. Never got the lemon and he didn't stop by the table again. Drink cup remained empty. They had a special that we got but he charged us more. Need someone working with a better personality. I went during the lunch special which is 11am-3pm. First off this is a seat yourself type Restaurant and has very pretty murals inside. The inside is very clean and spacious. My waiter today took a very long time to get to me even though I saw him just sitting talking to the other waiters and no one was really in the restuarant. However he was very nice when he did come to me. The price is very on point for the lunch specials and when I looked through the menu the prices seemed very good for the amount and quality of fish you get. I got the plate D with shaggy roll as a starter. My meal consisted of 24 pieces of sushi plus 4 shaggy pieces. First the shaggy was wonderful and had become my new favorite roll. The salmon roll was really good and tasted fresh. Now the tuna roll was really chewy and I could have done with less pieces or none of it. The avocado roll was nice and simple and I eat in between the salmon and tuna rolls. I cannot wait to come back and explore more of the menu. read more

The house sauce was tangy with a bit of a bite, loved the shrimp sauce. The fried dumplings were fine, not to greasy. This place lost a star because on my second trip to this place we had the absolute worst waiter. We were one of only two couples dining in the restaurant. The place was nearly empty. There was one woman who was waiting on the tables. I asked for a low sodium soy sauce. She chatted with the other couple in the restaurant for at least 10 mins before returning with the soy sauce. Our food had come and I had already gone to another table across the restaurant to get my soy sauce by the time she returned to our table. It was incredibly rude.
