Fuji Sushi is not much different from other casual Asian restaurants. Their prices are affordable, and the staff are nice and accommodating. There's decent space inside, but not ideal for large gatherings. Just like their name suggests, Fuji Sushi offers a vast selection of sushi! If you don't like sushi (like me), there's ramen, noodles and rice dishes too. They have a neat lunch special. The portions are just right. I can tell the staff use fresh, great quality ingredients in their dishes. Fuji Sushi is a little difficult to find, as they are packed into a small business strip, making parking difficult. Their fried rice was OK, but not the best. Our waitress got my order wrong, so when she brought in the dish I DID order, she took it off our bill. The best sushi we have ever had! It is so fresh and filling. The portions are huge and there is such a good variety. The environment is perfect, and the employees are so kind. My biggest complaint is no matter the time of day, they will say the wait is 30 min, I usually show up after 45 min and then stand around and wait another 10-15 min for my order. Even if the dining room is empty. If they just said what the real wait was on the phone it would be fine, but I always ask and without fail have to wait even longer. The orange chicken is disgusting. You can get better tasting at Panda Express, and that isn't saying much. I have bought food here many times before, but I got the orange chicken for the first time and it is not even edible. The chicken is soggy and poor quality, definitely NOT chicken breast, as I was told. The sauce is bland and tastes like watered down gatorade. Just nasty. I am angry I wasted $11.99 plus tax on this. The sushi is no better than what they sell at HEB, and HEB is cheaper. Honestly, don't bother eating here unless you are desperate and nothing else is open. read more

The chicken ramen had great flavor but the big down side was the chicken in the ramen. They were not the sliced chicken, it was small pieces like what you find in fried rice. One of the greatest aspects of this place was the employees and the hospitality. They are all very welcoming, even on a busy night when all the tables were taken. I watched how the servers talked to their customers like they have known them for years, making conversation and attending to their needs. Even though the service was a bit slow, I do commend them for their attitude. The sushi rolls weren't the greatest I have ever had but they still make pretty good rolls. Great size and great rice ratio in the rolls. Still need a little work on the deep frying bc the roll on the house and fried soft shell crab were a little hard to chew. I also prefer a little softer and sweeter rice but that's just me. What makes this place unique was how they plate the sushi. Very creative and very cute. The most amazing food. We tried this today for the first time. We were blown away. 5 stars rating bar none. We tried it for lunch and went back for dinner. They have taken great measures to prevent covid which I appreciate so much. I got the chicken teriyaki bento box which comes with a soup 4 piece California roll white rice egg roll and chicken teriyaki. Lunch menu is over at 3pm. The hubby had sushi various variety.
