Holy smokes! Get me a shirt so I can rep Mizuki on the daily! Is the quality of food on par with a restaurant like Uchi or Kata Robata? No. But the quality is shocking when youre talking about an all you can eat sushi spot for $30. I love how everything is portioned to smaller sizes so you can eat an array of different items without needing to worry about min-maxing for value. After experiencing how they do things I believe every buffet should be to order. Walking to a display of overheated old food that was cooked who knows how long ago is a thing of the past. The people are nice. The quality of food is great. Mizuki is awesome! I hope they are able to keep the quality up over time and keep being an excellent place to throw down on some sushi! read more

This was our first time eating at Mizuki after driving by a ton of times. We will definitely be back! We've had sushi at A LOT of places both here in the Houston area and in San Diego on a regular basis. This place is a definite stop for you if you're looking for quality food at a really good price. This is a gem in Baytown, Texas: if you love Sushi, give it a try! They have an all-you-can-eat menu, but with some guidelines: you can't take anything to go, and you have to finish what you order (within reason), but they will bring you whatever you want for 90 minutes. Being a huge sashimi eater myself, it's a bargain, and their variety and quality is very good. We did not choose to do the all you could eat. However we did order the edamame, crab puff, coconut shrimp for appetizers. We ordered the tiger roll and mango hawaiian roll. The Edamame was fresh and good. The crab puff came out cold. The coconut shrimp looked like it came from a frozen box, tasted like that as well. The tiger roll was good. The mango Hawaiian roll was very good. Service was good, food came out in small chunks. If you're hungry do not come here because the food comes out little at a time. Ambiance is amazing!! WOW!!! The AYCE is the way to go. You can try the whole menu if you don't get full first! The staff is friendly and informative. They will explain everything to you. You just keep ordering, they check on you all the time. I suggest you remember the sauces on the rolls you order so you're not eating the same ones at first. Crab puffs, miso and seafood soup were excellent appetizers don't pass up. We did not have anything bad!!! To full for dessert!!! The restraunt is decorated nice with high back booths, table and chairs surrounding the bar area in the rear that overlooks the kitchen. read more

He was always making sure our table was clean and that we had everything we needed. He always the sure out food was on point and delicious. Super friendly and hard-working. All you can eat sushi is a relatively new concept in east/northeast Houston, but I have had it at a few other places. So far, this place is the best. Besides sushi, Mizuki has hibachi items and a fairly extensive menu for an AYCE. The service was very friendly and quick, as opposed to other places that obviously slow down service to limit quantities. Ambience was very nice, with great lighting and decor. Even with a full restaurant and a party of nine on Valentine's Day, our table felt quiet and intimate-- this place is very appropriate for date night. I tasted four rolls, edamame, gyoza, hibachi steak, and mango tea. The gyoza and two of the rolls were very good, but my one complaint is that two of the three rolls had mango, which I love-- if it was ripe. It is such a huge let down in both flavor and texture to be served hard, unripe mango. Please buy your mangos early and let them ripen before serving! Other than that, it was fun for all, and definitely worth coming back. 4.5 stars. read more

The customer service was amazing! I'm not a sushi eater but my boyfriend is. Even though I don't eat sushi there was still many different options for me to eat. The restaurant is very clean and well updated. I really recommend the steak or the shrimp teriyaki. It's amazing! I'm glad we have this type of restaurant available in Baytown now. The only complaint I have is the calamari. I couldn't eat it. It was tuff and too much batter for the amount of meat. I heard the table next to me have the same complaint but this is not stopping me from coming back. read more

Came to the soft opening of Mizuki in Baytown. The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous! We were greeted and seated in a timely fashion. The waiter explained the AYCE, and we ordered crab puffs and the golden buns to start. The apps came out quickly. We ordered 6 different special rolls, which came out on individual plates, at varying times. All were well rolled and as described on the menu. The plates were cleared as we finished them. We wrapped up our lunch with a few items from the desserts menu. Would definitely return, and soon! read more

She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. For a restaurant that just opened, you can tell they chose their team carefully because Bri is an outstanding representative. She knew the menu, checked in at all the right times, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Everything she did was excellent, and it honestly set the bar high.
