We were in the area craving noodle soup when we spotted a sign claiming "Best Asian Food 2026."…read moreWell... you can't put a sign like that out and expect us not to investigate! We stopped in right when they opened, and the restaurant is definitely on the cozy side--about 10 tables total--but it has a comfortable, laid-back feel. We were greeted right away and told to sit wherever we wanted. I liked the wall showcasing their sake selection, and the anime playing on the TVs added a fun touch to the atmosphere. Our server came by to get our drink order and returned shortly after for the rest of our order. One small thing: we had to ask for chopsticks since the table was set with only forks and napkins. Not a big deal, but definitely something to note if you're here for noodles! As for the food, everything we ordered was good. The flavors were exactly what we were expecting, and nothing disappointed. The restaurant was fairly clean overall, although a few of the fixtures could use a good dusting. All in all, this was a pleasant little find. Nothing overly fancy, but good food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu. And now I guess we'll have to see if that "Best Asian Food 2026" sign lives up to the hype!

The place is very clean. The staff are patient and attentive. Their menu prices are decent. Airi Ramen doesn't just serve ramen; there's rice dishes, yaki udon, soup, poke bowls, bao buns and a vast variety of sushi. Those of you who love to drink (not me), Airi Ramen offer wine, margaritas, sake, beer and mixed drinks. Yes, parents, there's a kids' menu. Airi Ramen also does catering. Since this isn't an Asian cafe, desserts are lacking here. Airi Ramen omitted some menu items a while ago. My companion liked her dish, but my ramen order wasn't right. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Ramen, but there was NO spice. It was just very salty. If I come back here, I'll try a different dish.

My intention isn't to bash, but to provide constructive feedback where I think there's room for improvement in customer experience. 1. When we walked in, our server just stared at us. I greeted her first, but she didn't smile and looked annoyed. 2. The food overall was good, but the appetizer was disappointing. My dad ordered a combination platter for $25, and half of it was just fried vegetables. For the price, it didn't feel worth it. (In the picture, we already ate some fried appetizers but you can see that the veggies is half of the plate.) 3. The bathroom had a really strong smell, which made it hard to overlook. I'm not trying to be a hater, I'd give the same honest feedback to a family member if they owned a restaurant. I really hope these points can help make improvements because the place has potential.

We checked in with a family of 5 and were hit with a 20-minute wait for the hibachi dinner. HOWEVER, we were seated within less than 5 minutes with another family of 4 that was already seated. As we were looking over the menu to order, the waiter came over to take our drink order. As he was taking the order, I overheard him talking to the Mom of the seated party. He was apologizing for the long wait that they had been partaking in. Mind you, this is only the drink order. In actuality, the other party was waiting for 45 minutes! After our drinks came out, he took our food order. We inputted our order and waited for the chef to come. As we were waiting though, the table and party, directly and across from us, had their chef show up, cook, show out and serve their food. We had a salad, soup and appetizer come out as we waited. This is normal with mostly all dinners. During this time, we were told that we are just waiting for a chef to finish up at another table, so they can come over and serve our party. Here's the get down; -The seafood that was ordered was overcooked because our chef kept leaving the grill to grab other things. *Shrimp, Scallops and Lobster -Having chicken and steak could also be a factor because it takes longer to cook. But still, the seafood was tough and chewy. -Fried Rice was cooked well done and was served before any other dishes. -Steak was cooked, but we had different styles we needed and wanted (Mid Rare and Mid Well), and they were both cooked the same (Well Done) :( -The sushi shrimp crunch roll was perfect! -Shrimp tempura appetizer was a great Also, EVERYTHING is cooked with the same sauces and amount of spices that they bring out. UNLESS, you tell them that you don't want it, they'll cooke everything the same.

**This is a 3.5 star review based on a to-go order.**…read more I'm a sucker for old school Americanized Chinese food, and this place hit the spot on a recent Tuesday. I don't get across the bridge very often, but I knew that this joint is a beloved local dive with good food. So I took the bait and experienced quick, accurate, and polite service. This place is not expensive, but I'm still not used to paying over $10 for lunch. (My problem. Not the restaurant's.) The egg rolls here are decent. I'm willing to bet that they aren't rolled in-house, since they aren't the short, fat versions that are overstuffed with cabbage. The fried rice is average, but fine. The General Tso's Chicken is seasoned very nicely and came out hot and fresh. My only issue is they actually use white meat! This is actually a great thing for 99% of the population, but I'm a dark meat guy. Finally, the hot and sour soup here is way above average, with velvety strands of egg, crunchy bamboo shoots, fresh mushrooms and a broth that someone actually gave some attention to. If I lived or worked around the corner, I'd very likely be the Yelp Duke of this place. Their recipes are really solid, and the service is spot on.
