I've been using the same eggs for the past five years, but when the pasteurized eggs from the store, they seem different. With Limited Food Desert options, this store cooks smelly seafood right at the entrance. And, the pricing on the shelf often doesn't match the receipt. Overpriced and it is difficult to maneuver in the store with all the employees shopping for the curb side drivers or stocking the shelves. Even when they see you patiently waiting they do not get out of the way. The checkers don't even acknowledge the customers. You are better off at Aldi or Foodtown. read more

This grocery store reminds me a lot of Harmons in Utah. It has everything and it is so clean and very well stocked with all your necessary items. I enjoy this place and the staff is very polite and so helpful, there bakery, Pharamcy, and deli food is amazing. This is where you shop in Texas so look for an HEB! read more

Just opened this morning, and looks fantastic! I was the 10th person in line, and I actually felt like I was a part of something huuuuuge. The store's layout is a bit different from others, and there doesn't seem to be a food demonstration area; however, I very well could have missed it. The beverage area, near the registers is easily accessible. The fresh meat is plentiful, and service is readily available. I hope this does not fade, and I hope this does not become what the original HEB in Baytown was... I stopped into to HEB to grab something to eat for lunch at work. I was looking for an item that I couldn't find. I asked 2 associates if they could help me find what I was looking for, they both seemed too busy to really help. Then I asked an associate named Ryane. (I think that was the spelling) anyway, she was super sweet, very professional and wasn't too busy to walk me around looking for my item. I enjoy going to HEB. There are some things they can fix. One major area that needs improvement is their attention to detail. There have been multiple occasions where they are working too fast, or not paying attention, and they forget to bag some of my items into my cart. I get home to realize, I am missing items I paid for. This is very inconvenient because I have drive to back due to employee negligence. I was also getting vibes like the workers did not want to be at work that day. I understand accidents happen, but it would be reassuring if you spoke with your employees about slowing down and their attention to detail. I like shopping here but I will bagging my own groceries if I can. read more

My boyfriend has waited 2 hours TWICE for our groceries even though he went to pick urgent up at our scheduled time. They gave my groceries to someone else & assumed I got them which made me have to wait even longer. Curbside is supposed to be more efficient than going into the store yourself which it is definitely not. read more

I would give it 0 stars if that was possible. Always crowded isles with stockers in the way. I waited 15 minutes today for a stocker to move so I could buy my juices used for cleanse. If there is a problem, confusion or mistake made by the customer or a team member HEB management and associates work quickly to correct it without shifting blame. I was so excited to finally get an HEB in Baytown. But sadly, this store doesn't live up to my expectations. It's not so much the store, as the managment, curbside superviors and the sackers. I have done curbside several times and I leave explcit instructions on my selection of produce. I am repeatedly given inferior produce. (Bad color, gouges, pitted, bruised, soft and old) My groceries are packed poorly. Things are stuffed in small bags and falling out of the top of the bags. I have talked with the store director on more than one occasion and he is very rude. He was yelling at me, interupting me, talking over me. I was not presented with the friendly, customer service image that they portray on their commercials. As usual, it seems like we cannot get the best in Baytown. I have shopped here for about two years now and I have never experienced the attitude from the cashier like I did today. I have never seen this cashier before but I may not have payed attention before because I've never had a bad experience prior to tonight.
