I was on the quest of raw milk, and found this amazing farm. It's located at the end of a long…read moreroad, with plenty of parking space. There are two stores, one that keeps the dairy products in fridges, and the other one is smaller, cuter and sells more non-perishable products like soaps, lotions, candles, etc. This store also sells fresh frozen grass-fed meats. Do not expect a big selection, but good enough to pick up some turkey, chicken or Italian sausages. The lady/receptionist was so friendly and helpful. She asked if I needed any help, and I told her I had never tried raw milk but wanted to purchase some. This is when she guided us to the original store, and showed us around. Mainly, the fridges are full of pre-ordered raw milk. All labeled and not to taken! She showed me the different sizes and gave us a small sample. I loved it and it didn't make me sick like regular pasteurized milk. I asked her if she can just sell me a small half liter bottle. She found a lovely glass container and she poured some in. You will find fresh eggs(from other farms not theirs) butter, kefir and yogurt. After we paid, we found ourselves entertained by the calves and goats outside the farm. There's a section where children can play with hay and these animals. The calves were inside crates. If you find yourself driving up north, do yourself a favor and stop here and pick up some goodies. Excellent!!

While the scenery was beautiful and the horses were amazing, our experience with Mary was very bad…read more In person she was informative and upbeat, but after we left I received lots of confusing, alarming accusatory messages from her, demanding money via Venmo. We used Hipcamp to book our stay and asking guests for money via Venmo is not in their policies. Contrary to Mary's listing, there was hardly ANY potable water and there was a lot of delayed or completely ghosted texts when we needed help. Mary had us clean our dishes in an unsanitary animal bucket, she never gave us a firepit grill only broken parts of an oven, she gave us a different campsite than the one we booked, then lied about it when asked. She was misleading about the services she claimed she would provide and also accused us of breaking an old rusted bike pump, which we borrowed with her permission but we never used. She told us drinks in the community room (for campers) were available to us via donation, but then after we donated what we had, she sent multiple, hostile messages after we left that said she did not find the amount suitable and that there were rules to donating. She never informed us of these rules despite us checking with her about the drinks a total of 3 times both in person and with texts. I really wished things were different. Following Hipcamp's policies, we asked Mary for a refund for the trip. As expected, she denied a refund so I reported my experience with text/photo evidence to Hipcamp and they refunded and have told her to make changes.

What a great place!…read more We stopped off in the afternoon on a Wednesday during a short trip to the Berkshires. First off, LOVE that you can bring the dogs. Is this normal for an orchard? I'm not familiar. They have the cutest little store with apple cider donuts, fudge, little store items including an apple liqueur of some kind that I was lucky enough to try and that shit is DANGEROUS. They also have a wine tasting area and cider/beer tasting area. We got 2 apple cider donuts (obviously) which were incredible. We also tried a cider flight. I asked for "the fruitest shit you have" and we got a nice spread of different and interesting things including a lavender cider. All of the staff were super nice and friendly. The place is also massive if you are into a lot of walking and things.

One of the owners, Sarah, did a wine tasting for me and was extremely friendly and provided some great background on the various wines. The wines were really good and they had a good variety of sweet and dry options. There's a nice cozy wood burning fireplace with couches to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the winter months. For those who want to be more active, there is snowshoeing available with snowshoes for rent while you're there. Didn't try that but maybe next year :)
