I went there with my and my family we were on the way with snow tubing. It was the best in the water parking lot It was really nice and the hot tub it was for relaxing the very cozy. The room service was amazing. They took care of the bed really well and I just want to say if you're choosing through great Wolf Lodge or any other Ranch cause it's very nice and he has a horseback I didn't get to go, but it's OK and there is lots and lots to do I just hope that the will open soon as soon next time as I come back maybe the boats will open, but I just wanna say thank you for opening this resort throughout all these years and your cat is very nice. I love your cats rocking horse ranch very nice. I just want your cat is very cute. I just want to say one more thing. It's a very nice experience so tomorrow my cousin is coming to the horse Ranch so I should have a great time The besties great time as I did my mom the other group of our family is coming right now so I hope you have a great time make them comfortable and I hope you guys have a great day.

If you were to choose between Rocking Horse Ranch and Great Wolf Lodge, it's an easy choice. Yes,…read moreRocking Horse Ranch is more expensive but there is an endless amount of activities for the kids to do. We came on the coldest weekend of the year but my kids had a blast skiing, snow tubing, horseback riding, pony rides, arcade, game room, playing laser tag, swimming in the pool, the outdoor hot tub, and the nightly shows. Food is included in the price and it is buffet style for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is not but you are more than welcome to order more and take things to go. There's snacks available between lunch and dinner but there's also hot chocolate/coffee available all day long with some pastries. The only downside were the rooms. They are connected so if you have loud neighbors, you won't be getting good sleep. Overall, my kids loved the place and want to go back soon. I guess we'll have to wait for another Black Friday deal.

We booked in advance, received a confirmation, and even got a second confirmation email--only to arrive and find that no one was there. There was no phone number listed on the website or in the emails, so we had no way to contact anyone to figure out what was going on. After waiting and searching for a way to reach someone, we finally had to leave with a very disappointed child. Four hours later, we received an email claiming they had previously emailed us (we never received anything) and that there had been an emergency with the trainer. While emergencies happen, the response didn't feel sincere, and the complete lack of communication in the moment was frustrating. This was supposed to be a highlight of our trip, but instead, it was a huge letdown. Given the positive reviews, we expected much better. If you're considering booking here, be warned--there seems to be a serious lack of reliability and customer service. We won't be trying again.

We dined with a small party in a private room, warm and comfy, and boasting elegant, polished service from a sharp and friendly team of servers. Excellent. For Easter, we were given a prix fixe menu ($150 per) that provided some fine choices among appetizers, entrees and desserts. The appetizers included octopus, quail and some super tasty (and NOT overcooked) seared tuna. Delicious. The entrees included duck and chicken but all of us deferred to the tenderloin which was perfectly cooked to our preference, tender and ... well, just what we wanted. Add in the desserts and the drinks -- lots of specialty beverages. all on the pricey side -- and we were totally satisfied. Not a complaint in the group. Winvian is very private, You can't just stroll in. Reservations are necessary, and you'll need to get buzzed in. Once there, however, the well-trained staff provide first-class treatment, thoughtful and never obtrusive. It is a grand experience -- but it is expensive. Definitely for special occasions.

Upon arrival each person pays a $10 cover charge that you receive a ticket for use in the country store in the amount of $10, so technically you get your money back as long as you buy something. Honestly the visiting experience was only okay, I am not sure I'd go back or recommend it BUT this is tempered by the fact that I did buy the biggest, prettiest mum and I may go back again for another one next year. I definitely have the nicest mum in all of Jersey City. I think it was around $20 for my huge mum and I was going to buy some apple cider donuts, but when I saw they were charging $18 for 12 donuts I put the package back on the shelf.

Honestly best apple cider donuts I've ever had + freshly baked , not stale at all and very soft and fluffy (but you have to buy it in a dozen, you can't buy individual) Lots of apples to choose from ~5-8 kinds from evercrisp to snapdragon to gold rush. Gold rush & pink lady were my favorite. Atmosphere: Loved for fall! There's was live music, plenty of apples and pumpkins to pick from, plenty of benches and seating indoors and outdoors for eating, and areas for children to play Dogs allowed! Service: friendly everywhere!! Price: cheap for entry, food is $$. You have to pay a $10 fee but it goes towards anything you buy. For apple cider & cider donuts I would say worth the price. Apple picking is charged by the pound

Bailiwick Animal Park

It was a rainy, damp fall day when we arrived at Bailiwick Animal Park…read more My down state family and I wanted to see the Bengal tigers I've heard so much about. These gorgeous creatures were raised from the age of 10 months old by Garry and his family; many of the animal parks residents were, and several bottle fed and carefully monitored in there delicate infancy. I've read some online reviews and it's disheartening to see some reviewers' ignorance. All these animals needed care, attention, a new home, and a true animal lover to take them in. Whether it was a infant mammal rejected by its mother and left to die, an animal born into captivity and needing a home, or a an injured creature that could no longer survive on its own... the Koschitzki family was there for them, and continues to be there for them. This is no short-term idea, but a true commitment to the best welfare for each animal. Park Review: First and foremost the animals are in good health and inquisitive. Mostly every resident came to welcome us to their gate... including the bears! Perhaps because it was a quite rainy day and we were the only family there, but regardless, it exhibited their friendliness to strangers which translates that these creatures are happy, welcoming, and well cared for by humans. Second, the variety of rescued animals was unexpected! I knew about the tigers, but I had no idea how MASSIVE, beautiful, and MAJESTIC they were! I wasn't expecting to see a brown bear, black bear, bison, baboon, and kangaroo. But the list of residence goes on. Their pens were ample size, with ample space for shelter, and detailed items included for them to interact with. Were the pens immaculate, no. But having been in the bush land of Africa and Australia, the natural habitat of these creatures is not immaculate. Some reviewers are comparing this family-owned and operated home (and the animal park is an extension of the Koschitzki home) to large zoo's or commercially run parks. If you're looking for a western culture 'perfect' animal park, this is not for you. BUT, if you want to be exposed to a beautiful variety of well-loved animals through the selfless care of a human family, than I would highly recommend visiting Bailiwick Animal Park. There's no glitter and flare, just mud and and a whole lot of love!
