I had a great time ! Staff supper attentive, the food was delicious. And it took about 5-7 minutes to have the food and beverage. The ambience was super chill and great for talking. Definitely will come back

Fantastic food and service. Authentic feel, not another Cactus Club vibes . Always the best beers on tap! Great spot to people watch and take in the Deep Cove area. My go to, especially, for a rainy day.

This small & unique little Southern Cali surfer styled seafood taco stop is a gem of a place in Deep Cove area. Loved it so much we had to go there 3 times out of our 6 day stay. The owners work their tails off providing great service and deliver some of the best and freshest beer battered halibut and cod tacos I have ever had!!!!...ok maybe that was my first time ever having this particular fish prepared in this way, but STILL soooo dang good and was SO happy we had the opportunity to have casual conversation with them on more than one occasion while chatting up the other locals. The food, owners, and staff found their way to my heart. I really hope one day we can visit again. They made me feel at home and like a local. Thanks guys! You deserve all the success this business brings you.

Came here after hiking and ordered the Black Bean Brown Rice Burger. It was more delicious than I thought it would. Juicy and still tasty. Service was great and friendly, but food was slow and took quite a while to arrive.

Came for a quick bite after hiking with some friends and just walked down the street and picked this place. I see a lot of low star reviews here, but to me it turned out exactly as expected, so I'm satisfied. I like the open concept and the décor and ambience. The five of us each got something different, so I got to see what all the food looks like. I didn't taste other people's food, but it looked good and they said it was good. I got a tortilla soup and I liked it. Came with their "hand-out tortilla chips." The downsides: Everything is really small for its price... It's more of a snack joint than place to go for meals to me. Also, their water was $3 for a bottle........ If you have your own bottle, they fill for free.

Simple menu, delicious and basic fish tacos. Good for a quick bite, or for a snack to bring to the park.

Got my order wrong and the fish in the fish and chips is the size of a fish finger. Over priced and disappointing.

Given this, the restaurant was quite busy but regardless we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Once seated our server was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and didn't seem overwhelmed by the volume of tables he had. We both ordered the beef dip, which was warm and comforting for a rainy night. I ordered mine with the Caesar salad, which was nothing special, but went well as a simple side with the sandwich. After dinner, we decided to get the key lime parfait, which looked delicious from the photos on the menu, and our server also noted it was quite popular. Although it was somewhat tasty, we both felt it was quite heavy on the salt for the crumble layer. We would have preferred if this was less. However, it was still a good dish. At one point in the night, a table was sat across from us with two children around 10-13 years old. One of the children had a watch that he was playing a podcast or some kind of show loudly on that was very distracting and annoying. We weren't sure that it was that table though, so we asked our server about it. He very tactfully responded that it was in fact that table, but that if it continued to bother us he would happily move us somewhere quieter. We declined and said we would see how long it continued for, but appreciated his response and the option. All in all, I would come back here to try some of their other drinks or dishes.

I was intrigued by the location even before I came here in person as I could see on the map that it was in a residential area, away from main streets and other commercial businesses. There was only one lady working here (Monika). I came here with my mom. She ordered a Chai Latte and I ordered a Matcha Latte. Our drinks came out fairly quickly but we had to wait quite awhile for our food. We had each ordered a slice of quiche with a bowl of Potato & Leek soup. Monika realized we had waited quite awhile for our food and brought us a chunk of carrot cake on the house to make up for the long wait. She said this cake was their bestseller. No room to eat the cake as tummy space was already taken up by quiche and soup, so we brought the cake home. The cake was quite good indeed and I enjoyed the quiche as well. Drinks and soup could have been better. I would have preferred my Matcha Latte to have been sweeter and my mom felt her Chai Latte was a bit too sweet for her. I think this place has potential and perhaps might do better with a bit more help. It's a charming space in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I do hope there will be more staff working here eventually. Kinda sounded like Monika had taken over this shop not too long ago so...guess it's in a bit of a transitional stage.
