However, the universe brought me an opportunity to connect with Simply Reiki's, massage therapist, Angelica Torres, for a Sunday morning appointment. I went from being confused and not knowing which way to go in life to finally feeling at home. I did not know what to expect when I attended her class, but her class was amazing and comforting. I found a lot of peace and so many things finally made sense to me. For once I did not feel CRAZY, and felt peace. The connection and how much attention and detail she puts on everything was amazing. When I explained why I cancelled, there was no apology. Life happens, rather than guilt-tripping people without having any knowledge of their circumstances, working with them to understand why the cancellation was made/ finding an alternative time to reschedule that works with your schedule could prove more advantageous.

I'm a fighter. I've fought mentally, I've fought physically, and I've fought emotionally. I've been through some serious trauma in this life, where most people would have given up and just walked away. Or just decided that this life is too hard for them and they are ready to find peace. Melanie took me on this journey. It started off with hypnosis. I was in so deep I no longer felt my physical body. It felt like I fell through the floor into nothingness. Then the images came. I was a very large male warrior in a past life. My live wasn't exactly great, but it had it's good moments. My death was pretty disturbing, but I felt no fear. It was my time. One thing she told us is if you see an angel, stay with the angel. I realize now I did see an angel, but I didn't know it then. I couldn't quite describe her, so I said she was a nun. Back in 863 bc I'm not sure there were nuns. There were also no perfectly clean women in baby blue with a white light around them. Everyone is dirty. Even if I did try and stay with her, I'm not sure I could. The images were vivid and came quickly. Not everyone in the room was able to go back. Some saw small glimpses, some saw nothing, some stories were tragic. For me, it was the answer to many of my life's questions. It explained why I fight for those who can't fight for themselves.
