I needed the stretching & techniques of a traditional Thai massage. I'm happy to say, that's what I got. :) The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The place has a calm zen vibe, the massage rooms are nicely appointed and clean. I actually exhaled heavily when I walked into the room saying "Oh yes!!!", I knew from what I saw, it was going to be a great massage. There are Ashiatsu bars on the ceiling, dim lights, a very comfy looking bed, a robe, etc. My masseuse communicated with me about pressure or if I had a question or comment. Nothing was out of my comfort level. Others mentioned how cold it is there; it was a little chilly at first, but I totally didn't notice any chill after we got started. Another comment was hearing talking through the walls; I didn't experience that either. I went around 4:00 on a week day. I definitely will return. It was a good, much needed massage. Most importantly, I was pain free & relaxed when I left my 90 minute session.

How do you make months of stress disappear in 60 minutes?…read more Go to Touch Method Massage and Body Works and have Thaddeus do his magic! I had been long overdue for a massage (Pre Covid for sure) and had been looking for months for a place with great reviews. I actually found TMM via a Groupon, but I looked at Yelp and Google reviews before I purchased. I did like that I was able to schedule the appointment as soon as I purchased the Groupon, but I guess the offer was so popular that the Groupon scheduler couldn't keep up with the demand. Thankfully, Thaddeus personally called to inform me of the error and the appointment availability. Since I kind of had an ideal time for the appointment, I changed to a different Saturday. I received confirmation of my appointment as well as reminders as the appointment date came closer. Despite receiving a very detailed email about the location, procedures, and protocols in place at TMM, I still ended up arriving 2 minutes after my appointment time because I passed up the address (it does sneak up on you). From TC Jester, you can't really see anything that looks like a building until you pass it up (I am also directionally challenged, so arriving 2 minutes late is pretty good for me)! Honestly, I have always had female therapist (not by preference, just happened that way). I have no objection to a male therapist--it's just new people that I have to adjust to. I respected that Thaddeus discussed with me my preferences for the massage and things I didn't desire. He even emphasized that if anything didn't feel comfortable to inform him. I really appreciated that since it had been so long since I had a massage. I felt no qualms about the massage and rightly so because I felt all tension and stress leave my body after this session. From the warm temperature of table (which Thaddeus checked with me to make sure it was good before he started the session), to the warm oil that meticulously and intentionally eased all the muscles and stress with each stroke of the massage, I was in heaven. I asked for the Swedish versus the deep tissue, so my entire body received the benefits of all that was before mentioned. The music was very calming but not too soft and tranquil that you fall asleep. The icing on the cake--walking out your session with Thaddeus waiting up front to meet you holding a champagne flute of H20 to remind you that water is essential after your massage session. I'm sure I had the biggest smile on my face because gosh--this was a phenomenal massage--one of THE BEST I've ever had. I asked about future bookings and everything is found on the website at https://www.massagebook.com/Houston~Massage~touch#services. Not only will you find monthly packages and packs to suit your frequency and schedule, thanks for showing some love to the essential workers (like first responders and teachers, whoop, whoop) and giving them a discount (call for more details on that pricing)! Although it was a 40 minute drive to get here, it was well worth it! Instead of giving your money to the Massage Envys and Heights that don't know your name, why not support small businesses like TMM and receive a quality massage? One visit, and you will be back-just don't take my appointment time!

The massage was deep - I'm still feeling some spots where he had to dig in. It was thorough. He was considerate of my pain tolerance and asked often if I was ok. He gave a full body, deep tissue massage and I walked out easily. A day later, I can walk pain free, turn my neck fully without pain and I feel like I can go on about my life. The doos as you walk into the rooms for the massages are gold and the detail on them makes you think you're out of the country. The rooms were just as beautiful and the bed was warm too. The don't have rooms that their walls reach their ceiling which I wouldn't mind if it was worth it but the towel they put above your body they end up rolling it down half way down your butt crack and leave it there to go over once and then they spend the rest of the massage on your shoulders . I don't understand why my whole butt had to be exposed the whole massage when they weren't working on it , and considering that I heard men laughing - I could only assume their men employees were looking over from their half wall rooms. Hot stones were nice but I don't know why they felt like they still felt like their speedy hand movements were relaxing . They even shook me like if that was supposed to be a massage technique.
